Enjoyed that card. Proving ground was interesting. The Briscoe Brothers drop the match but get spotlight regardless. Like the match up of Benjamin and Elgin.

bookerbill - Thanks bb. JCH get another crack at the Briscoes right here. Elgin and Benjamin continues on the next show. RING OF HONOR TELEVISION 2014 Season Episode 4 Rhino def. TaDarius Thomas by pin Rhino basically demolished TD, pinning him after a Death Valley driver. Michael Elgin cuts a promo on Shelton Benjamin: “Shelton, was hitting me with the TV title belt supposed to get my attention? Well, it has. Now I want that belt. And next week I plan to take it!” Homicide def. Rhett Titus by DQ Titus fought hard but Homicide really put a hurting on him. Bored of trying to pin Titus, Homicide went to his ghetto fork and jabed it into Rhett’s forehead. The bloody Titus rolled out of the ring and when Homicide pursued, Rhett crotched him on the barricade. This did not escape the ref’s notice and Rhett was disqualified. Homicide seemed to appreciate Titus’ effort and showed his appreciation by licking the blood off his fork. INSIDE ROH: Inside ROH shows a teaser video of a superstar returning to Ring of Honor: “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles! ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPJay & Mark Briscoe def. Jay Lethal & ACH by pin Even though they won by disqualification in a recent Proving Ground match in Pittsburgh, JCH earned this title shot. Early in the match, ACH dodged a dive by Mark and the ref took a bump. JCH went on to put Mark through the ringer and tried for to pin him multiple times with the ref down. From there it turned into a great match with Mark taking a beating and Jay coming in to turn the tide. With Lethal down after a Spike Jay Driller, the Kings of Wrestling come down to ringside to distract the Briscoes. Jay gives Lethal another Jay Driller and the match is over. The Kings are at the curtain and the show closes with them and the Briscoes taunting each other. Next week: Shelton Benjamin vs. Michael Elgin for the ROH World Television Championship!

RING OF HONOR TELEVISION 2014 Season Episode 5 Bobby Fish def. Adam Cole by submission Cole looked sharper than Fish but missed a jump from the top turnbuckle. Fish wasted no time locking on the Fish Hook for the victory. After the first match, Homicide came to the ring to encourage Cole who didn’t look like he trusted The Norotious 187 not to attack him. Then Homicide got on the mic and told Mike Bennett to stop running and that he would have to face the violence sooner or later. BJ Whitmer def. QT Marshall by DQ BJ trounced Marshall who proved hard to pin. R.D. Evans provided about the only offense QT got in. Evans interfered when the fight left the ring and Marshall seemed relieved to be disqualified. INSIDE ROH: There is hype again this week for the return of AJ Styles. He will be in action at the 12th Anniversary Show. ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIPMichael Elgin def. Shelton Benjamin(c) by DQ The early stages of this match were nip and tuck with Shelton reversing Elgin’s offense but Elgin shrugged off Benjamin’s attempts. Every time it looked like Elgin was getting on a roll, Shelton outmaneuvered him to cut it short. The TV champ picked up steam and had the challenger in trouble with a pair of Paydirts. A ref bump may have prevented Shelton a win because Elgin soon came back and had Benjamin on his heels. There was a lot of brawling at ringside and, late in the match, Benjamin flagrantly used his title belt as a weapon to once again escape Elgin’s wrath. The crowd was furious along with Elgin when it was announced that the title would not change hands on a disqualification. Next week: Kyle O'Reilly takes on Matt Taven and the H.O.T!

bookerbill - Elgin/Benjamin has developed almost completely through the dice. It's always fun to see where they take things! RING OF HONOR TELEVISION 2014 Season Episode 6 Chris Hero def. Eddie Edwards by DQ This was a good back and forth match that really had the fans attention. When Chris and Eddie took their fight to the floor, the Briscoes came to the ring and attacked Hero. Edwards is unjustly disqualified. Hero’s partner, Claudio Castagnoli, is nowhere to be found. After the break, Nigel McGuinness came to the ring to address what just happened. He calls the Briscoes and Hero out again with a heavy buffer of staff between them. He chastised the Briscoes for their actions but tells Hero that the Kings of Wrestling started it. He announced there will indeed be an ROH Tag Team Championship match at 12th Anniversary between the Briscoes and the Kings. The fans are hyped by this but Nigel had a stern caveat: "Regardless of who wins or loses, this will be the only match between these two teams for the foreseeable future. I have no intention of letting this feud reignite. This company is not going to go through that again!" Matt Taven w/Truth Martini def. Kyle O'Reilly by pin Another well-fought match with each man having a good run on offense. After some false finishes, it was Taven with an Arm Trap Headlock Driver for the win. Afterward, while the Hoopla Hotties groped Taven, he told O’Reilly to get a good look at what he was missing by not being in the H.O.T. INSIDE ROH: Kevin Kelly previews 12th Anniversary coming up in one week. Roderick Strong will defend the ROH World Championship against Davey Richards. The Briscoes defend their tag team titles against the Kings of Wrestling. Michael Elgin gets a rematch for the TV title against Shelton Benjamin. Elgin promo: “Shelton, it wasn't that long ago that you beat me for that ROH World Television Championship. I moved on to other things and you should have let it lie. But now you’re back on my radar and I intend to leave Philadelphia with that belt.”AJ Styles also make his ROH return in Philadelphia, facing Bobby Fish. Mike Bennett has accepted Homicide’s challenge but Maria has insisted that it be a tag team match. She says: “Michael’s partner has already been chosen.”“All of this and much more from Philadelphia next week!” Mike Bennett vs. Steve Corino While there was no animosity between the two, Corino and Bennett each approached this match with caution. Neither wrestler committed 100% to their offense and the match was turning out to be a dud. The reason for this would soon become clear. The match left the ring and it looked like the pace was going to pick up when Homicide ran down and chased Bennett back into the ring. With his man cornered, Homicide withdrew his ghetto fork. While he menaced Bennett, Rhino snuck into the ring. Bennett stopped cowering and smiled, pointing behind his attacker. As Homicide turned in to look, he was Gored by Rhino. Bennett and Maria kicked at the fallen Homicide while Rhino leered at the crowd. Bennett reached through the ropes and shook Corino’s hand. “It was a trap all along,” exclaimed Kevin Kelly. Next week: 12th Anniversary from Philadelphia!

bookerbill - Yes. A surprise GORE! does make a statement. 12th ANNIVERSARY February 22 2014 Philadelphia PA The Young Bucks w/Truth Martini def. Kyle O'Reilly & Rhett Titus by pin O'Reilly enlisted Titus to team with him against his rivals in the House of Truth, Matt and Nick Jackson. O'Reilly and Titus were in firm control for the majority of the match but the Bucks pulled out the victory with Nick pinning O'Reilly after More Bang For Your Buck. Jay Lethal & ACH def. C&C Wrestle Factory by submission JCH had their best showing to date. ACH commanded the action for his team while Caprice Coleman supplied the offense for C&C. ACH made Cedric Alexander submit to a scorpion death lock. GRUDGE MATCH Matt Taven w/Truth Martini def. BJ Whitmer by pin Taven had reason to be cocky after this dominant performance. BJ kicked out of two straight Arm Trap Headlock Drivers but Taven went over with a frog splash. After the bell, Taven put the boots to Whitmer until Kyle O'Reilly saved him from the beatdown. Mike Bennett & Rhino def. Homicide & Adam Cole by pin Mike Bennett would only take a match against Homicide if they both had partners for a tag team match. Maria arranged for Rhino to be muscle for Bennett. When Homicide and Cole entered the ring, Bennett and Rhino immediately attacked them. A brawl commenced and Homicide and Rhino left the ring to fight at ringside. The bell rang to start the match and Bennett used a Prodigy Piledriver on Cole to end the match almost instantly. With Homicide occupied by Rhino, Bennett sneaked to the back before he was noticed. AJ Styles def. Bobby Fish by submission Styles made his ROH return to a big ovation from the crowd. AJ had a spectacular showing and Fish was overwhelmed. It wasn't long until Styles had Bobby tapping to the Calf Killer. The crowd congratulated him with a “Welcome Back!” chant. ROH WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIPShelton Benjamin(c) def. Michael Elgin by pin Benjamin handled Elgin without much difficulty. A chair to the face from the champion set Elgin up for a string of strong offense that ended with a Paydirt. Shelton walked backward to the curtain with a grin on his face and the TV title belt held over his head. When it came time for the tag team title bout, Chris Hero came out by himself and met with ROH officials at ringside. The Briscoes music started and the fans went wild. Hero had a worried look on his face. The tag champs got into the ring and, after acknowledging the crowd, turned their attention on Hero standing on the floor. Jay hostily yelled at Chris asking where his partner was at. Officials were talking amongst themselves when more music began to play. Coming through the curtain was a face not seen in ROH for some time: Jimmy Jacobs. With Jacobs was 'The Sicilian Psychopath', Tomasso Ciampa. Jimmy took a moment to disdainfully scan the audience while Ciampa looked like he was about to lose it. Jimmy produced a microphone and spoke as he began walking down the aisle. He said he didn't know what was going on with Claudio Castagnoli, but it looked like Chris needed a partner for tonight's title match. He went on to offer the services of Ciampa to fill in for Claudio. Hero hesitated. The officials conferred with him and everyone came to an agreement that Tomasso would be allowed to substitute for Hero's missing Kings of Wrestling partner. ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPJay & Mark Briscoe(c) def. Chris Hero & Tomasso Ciampa by DQ From the opening bell, this match was the Briscoes working over Hero. The couple of rare moments where Hero might have been able to tag Ciampa in, he seemed reluctant. Mark Briscoe took Hero to the floor and pummeled him around ringside. Jimmy Jacobs pulled out his Railroad Spike and attacked Mark with it while Tomasso went after Jay. The ref disqualified Hero and Ciampa. Chris looked back at the ring in confusion as Jacobs and Ciampa stood over the writhing Briscoes. ROH WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP Davey Richards def. Roderick Strong(c) by count outRichards was in top form this night. He dominated the champion in all aspects of the match. Strong repeatedly withdraw from the ring in a desperate attempt at slowing Davey's momentum. Richards finally had enough and launched himself through the ropes with an insane suicide dive that knocked Roddy over the rail and saw Richards landing a few rows into the crowd. Both men struggled to return to the ring. Davey barely beat the count while Strong collapsed trying to climb onto the ring apron. Realizing what had happened, Davey was in disbelief. Strong remained champion due to a count out.
Strong stumbled up the ramp and bumped into Steve Corino, dressed in a suit, who as on the way down. Roddy gave 'The King of Old School' a wary look as Steve gave him a cold stare. Once Roddy was gone, Corino walked the rest of the way down to ringside. Still in the ring, Richards gestured inquisitively, wanting to know what Steve wanted. Corino said nothing and Davey turned away dismissively only to be met with a Gore! from Rhino who had come through the crowd. Rhino gave Richards a couple of stomps for good measure and hopped out of the ring. ROH officials scattered as The Manbeast hoisted the timekeeper's table and shoved it through the ropes. After a couple of more kicks to the prone Richards, Rhino propped the table up in the corner and placed Davey in front of it. With a quick glance in Corino's direction, Rhino charged, driving Richards through the table with another Gore! Like the table, Davey looked nearly broken in half. Officials and medical staff came to the ring to check on the injured 'American Wolf' as Corino turned and walked back up the ramp without a word. Current Rankings: Singles: - Roderick Strong

Crimson Cross, bookerbill - Rhino now has to answer for his actions. Read on! RING OF HONOR TELEVISION 2014 Season Episode 7 The show opened with matchmaker Nigel McGuinness coming to the ring. He called Steve Corino down to join him. Corino came out and appeared puzzled. Nigel accused Corino of arranging Rhino’s attack on Davey Richards at the 12th Anniversary show. Richards’ injuries will keep him out of action for an undetermined amount of time. Steve feigned innocence and said he just came to the ring to talk to Richards. He couldn’t help if that was the moment Rhino decided to strike. Corino went on to say that, being Rhino’s close friend, he knew the Manbeast felt the same way he did: that the ROH office was giving title matches over and over again to their favorites instead of wrestlers who really deserved it. Corino stated that he was the number one contender, so why hasn’t he received a title match yet. Or Bobby Fish who is also highly ranked. Nigel replied that he was involved in the selection of challengers and that he stands by his decisions. He went on to say that this is the second time that Rhino has committed an infraction worthy of suspension. It was also clear that Rhino has been offering his services to hurt people and that this kind of mercenary behavior had no place in ROH. McGuinness officially announced that Rhino has been suspended indefinitely and as soon as he can prove Corino’s involvement, he’ll be gone as well. Corino appeared un-phased and again proclaimed his innocence. Mike Bennett def. ACH by pin ACH withstood a thumping to make an exciting comeback. Despite this, Bennett regained control and eventually put away ACH with a Photo Finish. Bobby Fish def. Jay Lethal by submission These two put on a lengthy, hard-hitting match. Neither man would give in until Fish locked on the Fish Hook in the middle of the ring. Lethal frantically reached for the ropes but ended up tapping out. INSIDE ROH: There is an announcement that Ring of Honor is returning to Milwaukee for a live event on March 29th. Roderick Strong & Shelton Benjamin def. AJ Styles & Michael Elgin by pin Benjamin turned the Code of Honor into an opportunity to give Elgin a T-Bone suplex. The bell rang and the ROH World Television Champion used his Paydirt finisher hoping to score the flash win. Elgin kicked out but Shelton went for Paydirt again. Elgin proved “Unbreakable” with another kick out. A cross body from the top rope also came up short of a pin. Strong tagged in and gave Elgin the End of Heartache. This ended the match with Styles not seeing action. There were boos from the crowd and Roddy dangled the ROH World Championship belt in AJ's face. Shelton stood over Elgin laughing. Next week: Chris Hero vs. Adam Cole!
