Justin Case , TTX - Jay Lethal has done what he set out to do by establishing himself as the ace of ROH. All he has left to do is win the vacant ROH World Championship. Posted on Ring of Honor Wrestling's Facebook page: On the Hunt - with The Briscoes. (GoPro footage of Jay and Mark tromping through the woods at night. Mark is holding a hunting rifle while Jay has one slung over his shoulder and is holding an eager dog on a lead) Jay - “We had a report that BJ Whitmer was seen in these woods. We’re gettin’ him tonight.”Mark - “That boy has been more elusive than that Sasquatch feller.”(There is a rustle on the trail ahead and a bald man in dirty white clothes bursts out from the bushes and runs in the opposite direction. Jay turns loose the dog who gives pursuit barking) Jay - ““Get ‘im, boy!”
Mark - “Dog will hunt!! Rowf! Rowf!”
To be continued…

Manhattan Mayhem was a great show, especially headlined by the spectacular two straight fall win by Jay Lethal over Christopher Daniels. The best moment, however, was Kelly Klein tapping out Nick Jackson allowing her and Rhett Titus to win the ROH tag titles from the Young Bucks! I loved how they ended up as a team via the Lethal Lottery and Kelly eliminating a Briscoe is nuts. I have a feeling DEm Boys are going to be looking for a shot at Titus and Klein.
That Briscoes promo hunting BJ Whitmer was great.

Manhattan Mayhem was thoroughly entertaining (even though Taven failed to win the Lethal Lottery battle royal)... That title victory by Klein & Titus was truly memorable... And Lethal looked absolutely unstoppable in that main event... Everyone on the roster better sit up and take notice 'cuz Lethal means business and he wants that ROH World title...
Also enjoying the antics of Dem Boys as they continue their hunt for the elusive BJ Whitmer...
Awesome stuff, as always!

Pariah , cruefan68 , Justin Case - The Lethal Lottery and subsequent title switch was as random and unexpected as it should have been. If ROH had done this irl, I would call it questionable booking. But in this case, I can blame the dice. Jay Lethal is really asserting his position and that continues this episode. And will Dem Boys nab the crafty BJ Whitmer? You'll have to stay tuned to find out. Thanks for reading and commenting everyone!
RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2018 Season Episode 7 Field of Honor QualifierJay Lethal def. Cheeseburger by pin As ROH World Television Champion and #1 in the rankings, Jay Lethal was guaranteed a spot in Field of Honor. However, Cheeseburger could earn a spot in the title tournament with a win. Cheeseburger made the mistake of turning his back on the TV champion after the Code of Honor. Lethal clipped his knee and applied a figure four leg lock, yelling to the crowd that “This is how world champions do it!” Burger showed heart and wouldn’t tap out but maybe he should have. Jay hit a Lethal Combination then tossed his popular opponent to the floor where he smashed him into the ring post. Back in the ring, another Lethal Combination and a pin attempt. However, Jay pulled up Cheese before the three count. Jay cuffed Burger a few times before giving him a Lethal Injection. Once again, Jay interrupted the three count, shaking his head. Lethal Combination number three saw Jay on his knees, smirking over his downed opponent as the referee urged him to finish it. Jay leaned over and allowed the three count. Lethal raised his hands in victory soaking in the boos from the crowd. Dalton Castle def. Silas Young by pin This was a wild match that saw Castle’s power game and suplexes pitted against Silas’ strikes and questionable tactics. There was a ref bump at which point Dalton really put on the pressure, then executed a Deadlift German Suplex just as the ref recovered to count three. Field of Honor standings Already qualified - Joey Daddiego, Jay Lethal Qualifier match next week on Ring of Honor Television - Adam Page vs. Will Ferrara Ring of Honor is back in Las Vegas to celebrate our 16th Anniversary! Kenny Omega and Roppongi Vice return as Infernal Affairs will defend the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship! And the Field of Honor Tournament begins! Join us in the following weeks for more big announcements! Field of Honor QualifierJay White def. Joey Daddiego by pin Ian Riccaboni asked his guest commentator, Matt Taven, a question that may have been on the fans’ minds. “Matt, it doesn’t look like you’re in line to qualify for the Field of Honor. Can I get your thoughts on that?” “Well, Riccaboni, it’s an obvious conspiracy being perpetrated by the human diapers in the ROH office. They are afraid that the true legacy of Affluence - me, not Jay Lethal - will once again dominate this company. They’re scared and I have to suffer for it. How is that fair? Well, believe me when I say, my Kingdom will come.”Daddiego had already been seeded in the Field of Honor tournament with his Survival of the Fittest win. White would secure a place in the tournament as well, if he could defeat Daddiego. These two really put on a main event level match. Daddiego came out very aggressive but White weathered the storm. They traded the advantage multiple times for good stretches of offense. Daddiego twice kicked out of the Kiwi Krusher but the third one ended the match. White got his biggest win to date in ROH and clinched a spot in Field of Honor on top of it.

Great showing by Switchblade, earning himself a spot in the Field of Honor tournament... While Jay Lethal opens the show by sending a message to his opponent and everyone in the back... The TV champ means business and plans to become ROH World champion... Awesome work!

Great to see Jay White qualify for the Field of Honor, especially beating Joey Daddiego who has had some solid success in ROH. It was interesting that Daddiego, who is already in, could have prevented White from getting in. Great stuff as always.

Pariah , TTX , cruefan68 , Justin Case - I am glad Jay White was able to pick up the Field of Honor qualifying win. I have been hoping he would gain traction as a strong babyface in my fed. This episode has some developments, picking up speed to 16th Anniversary which is looking like it should be a big show. Thanks for following guys!
RING OF HONOR TELEVISION
2018 Season Episode 8 Kenny King def. Kazarian by pin Kaz was in total control for the entirety of the match, making King look out of his depth. However, a missed spot from the top rope by Kaz served up a win for King when he capitalized with the Coronation. As a disheartened Kazarian walked by the announce position, guest commentator Matt Taven remarked: “You blew that one, old man.”Kaz snapped at the comment. “Do you have a problem, Taven?!”Matt held back a laugh as Ian Riccaboni urged Kazarian to keep cool. Rhett Titus (w/Kelly Klein) def. Matt Jackson (w/Nick Jackson) by pin Following their stunning upset at Manhattan Mayhem, defeating the Young Bucks for the ROH World Tag Team Championship, Rhett Titus and Kelly Klein found themselves once again across the ring from Matt and Nick Jackson, this time in singles competition. During introductions, Kelly put her hands around her neck and acted like she was being choked out, then pointed, laughing at Nick. Rhett wanted to high five her for the gesture but she snubbed him. Titus was in the driver’s seat for most of this match with Matt only getting in some token offense. A Muff Driver decisively finished Jackson. Chris Sabin came down to the ring to distract Klein as the Bucks jumped Rhett after the bell. They gave Titus More Bang For Your Buck with a chair laid across his body. Rhett clutched his ribs afterward, clearly injured by the Bucks attack. Klein separated from Sabin to see to her partner but wasn’t too sympathetic to the pain he was in. After getting the upper hand during a skirmish on the floor, Page had to use the Rite of Passage four times before Ferrara was down for the count.
