pbp sim queries

Back after several months away and I've been poking through the pbp simulator and have a few queries.

The old simulator had the option of having matches with the double dq rule. (When a wrestler roles for dq he has to roll twice and fail twice to get dq'd) Any chance of having that rule added as an option into the current sim?

For Antimatter 2090 would it be possible to have two versions of the card available. One for tagging with Matter and one for matches without Matter? You could do a simular thing with Matter 2090, Bounty Hunter 2089, Vanity 2093 & Whiplash 2091.

For Colossus 2098 & 2099 SE would it be possible to select the finisher manually prior to each match?

I hear you... I'm missing the roll DQ twice and the Champion's Advantage options. Just getting back into the game after a 2-3 year hiatus... I had been using the original PBP simulator for all my matches with those above options, to limit DQs (but still have them occur) and limit title changes (because it seems like title changes occur every other title defense).

I'd tried starting my fed back up using the legacy PBP simulator, but errors are occurring when someone goes out of the ring that prevent the sim from completing the match. Informed the mods about the flaw, and was told the legacy PBP sim isn't being supported anymore, so it won't be fixed.

So I tried using the new PBP sim to move forward with my fed, and naturally more DQs and more frequent title changes have been occurring, which I'm not happy with at all. I'm at a loss as to what to do... I want to play, but I'm not happy with these options not being available, as it's changed the nature of my Fed for the worse.

I don't always have a lot of time to play, and I'm more interested in managing and booking my Fed instead of actually rolling the dice, which is why I was using the old (legacy) PBP sim originally.

I want to scrap and redo what's occurred in my Fed since I started back up a couple weeks ago, but the option doesn't currently exist to play my Fed the way it had been played, as the Legacy Sim has the fatal out if the ring error, and the new Sim has too many DQs and title changes. I'm at a loss as to what to do, because I want to play. Frustrating.

For the champions advantage, I somewhat treat it like a 2 out of 3 falls match. If the champ wins when I first sim the match, then that's it and he retains. If the challenger wins, then I sim the match again until someone wins twice. So say if I sim two in a row and the challenger wins both then he wins the title. If the challenger wins the first sim, the champ the second sim, then I sim it once more and whoever wins that wins the match. This has worked well for me. For DQ's, I too like the option to roll twice, but I really haven't had too much of a problem with DQ's. In some cases if the DQ ending doesn't work for me, then I might resim it, and if it sims as DQ again then so be it. I almost always resim a DQ if a face is DQ'ed, depending on who it is.

Thanks for the suggestions. But then I feel like I'd be fudging with the results, which I haven't done previously in my Fed... I'd always use the result provided by the old PBP Sim, with the double roll DQ option and Champion's Advantage option (if a title match) active, whether I was happy with the result or not. I'd then try to book my way out of it in future cards. I just don't want to change the way my Fed has operated for 140 fight cards. Ugh.

I understand how you feel. I've never felt like I was fudging with results, more just working around and with what's available. But I too would like to see that option added back in, along with the cage match, those are the only things I would like to see right now.

Similarly, I had adopted the double dq rule and was running my fed with this when the switch to the new sim happened. I also used the legacy sim until it started breaking down. It is just frustrating that a functionality wasn't carried over from old to new, I bought the on-line sets specfically because of the pbp-sim so it has been especially frustrating.
