OVER-DRIVE - LADIES NIGHT Holo-Vision Recording
PitsiCo Arena; Deimos, Mars
Card #ROR-2129-26
(The show opens to Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino sitting at ringside.)
KEVIN KELLY
From the PitsiCo Arena on Deimos, Mars, we welcome you to Ring of Respect Wrestling
OVER-DRIVE. Hello once again, fans. I'm Kevin Kelly alongside Steve Corino. Steve, it's "Ladies Night" here on
OVER-DRIVE, in honor of it being the last
OVER-DRIVE show that the Women of Respect will appear on before the women's division is closed next month. (Sultry electric guitar music blares over the speakers as the Romantic Touch steps through the curtain and begins to make his way to the ring.) What's this? He's scheduled to debut at
BATTLE-BALOO. Why is the Romantic Touch making his way to the ring?
STEVE CORINO
I don't know, Kevin. Maybe he's going to join us at the announcer's table and help us call the matches. He loves the ladies, after all. (The Romantic Touch walks around the ring, handing out long-stemmed red roses to the ladies in the crowd before rolling into the ring and taking the microphone from ring announcer Bobby Cruise.)
KEVIN KELLY
I guess we're about to find out, Steve. Let's take you up to the ring with the Romantic Touch.
ROMANTIC TOUCH
It is I, the Romantic Touch, and tonight on
OVER-DRIVE, it is "Ladies Night". (The crowd cheers). The Romantic Touch, he is all about the ladies. He loves each and every one of them. That is why he is out here tonight. Tonight, the Romantic Touch has been granted permission by Nigel McGuinness to be your special guest ring announcer for the evening. As for Matt Taven, do not think for one minute that the Romantic Touch is not ready for you at
BATTLE-BALOO. You will pay for injuring my good friend, Rhett Titus. And Maria, the Romantic Touch has a special place for you, my lovely little flower, right over my knee getting the spanking you deserve. But the Romantic Touch digresses. It is time for the first ladies match. Coming to the ring first, from New York, New York, she weighs 150 pounds. She is the beautiful Laura Phoenix. (Laura enters the ring, and the Romantic Touch hands her a long-stemmed red rose before kissing her cheek.) And her opponent, from Providence, Rhode Island, she weighs 114 pounds, the lovely Veda Scott. (When she enters the ring, the Romantic Touch attempts to hand her a rose, as well, but she takes it and slaps it hard across his masked face, snapping the bud from the stem. Laura takes advantage of this and delivers a double axhandle to Veda's shoulder blade to begin the match.)
On the final OVER-DRIVE show featuring the women's division, Laura Phoenix snapped her months-long losing streak with a pinfall win over Veda Scott by way of the AD CENEREM. (*)CROWD RECEPTION: Favorable
NIELSON RATING: 2.6
(The show goes into a commercial break and when it returns, the Romantic Touch is standing in the ring with two long-stemmed red roses in hand, ready to announce the next match)
KEVIN KELLY
We're back on Ring of Respect Wrestling
OVER-DRIVE - LADIES NIGHT. Let's take you back up to the ring with our special guest ring announcer for the evening, the Romantic Touch, for the introduction to our next match.
ROMANTIC TOUCH
This next match is scheduled for one fall. Coming to the ring, from San Diego, California, weighing 145 pounds of pure Asian sexiness, Mia Yim. (Mia enters the ring and the Romantic Touch hands her one of the roses before kissing her hand.) And her opponent, from Martinez, California, weighing 160 pounds, the vivaciously hot Sara Del Rey. (Sara enters the ring and receives the rose and a kiss from the Romantic Touch.)
STEVE CORINO
Kevin, is the Romantic Touch going to give roses and kiss all of the women competing tonight?
KEVIN KELLY
He can do whatever he wants. Why do you care anyway? Are you jealous?
STEVE CORINO
I'm a married man with children, Kevin. Why should I be jealous?
KEVIN KELLY
Referee Gino Corlucci calls for the Code of Respect and the two ladies shake hands to begin the match.
Mia Yim won the match when referee Gino Corlucci disqualified Sara Del Rey after Sara smashed Mia into the announcer's table outside the ring with a spike piledriver. (*)CROWD RECEPTION: Unfavorable
NIELSON RATING: 3.4
(The show goes into a commercial break and when it returns, Ring of Respect reporter Larry Mercer is standing backstage with Laura Phoenix.)
LARRY MERCER
Hello, Ring of Respect Wrestling fans. I'm Larry Mercer, and I'm here with Laura Phoenix. Laura, after months of not putting a single match in the win column here in Ring of Respect, tonight you finally managed to snap your losing streak with a pinfall win over Veda Scott. How does that make you feel on the final evening to feature the women's division before it's dissolved that you're finally able to get your first victory?
LAURA PHOENIX
It's a bittersweet victory, Larry Mercer. It's sweet that I was finally able to get a win here in Ring of Respect, but at the same time it's a bitter win because I won't be able to build upon that win and hopefully go on to one day become the Ring of Respect Wrestling Women's champion.
LARRY MERCER
What are your plans now that the women's division is being dissolved after the
BATTLE-BALOO super show?
LAURA PHOENIX
I've got other independent wrestling promotions that I work for in addition to Ring of Respect, so I'll be OK. Now I can go around billing myself as "former Ring of Respect Wrestling star Laura Phoenix."
LARRY MERCER
Well, we thank you not only for taking the time to speak to us, but for all of your hard work here in Ring of Respect. Kevin Kelly, let's send it back to you.
(The camera cuts to the arena, where the Romantic Touch is standing in the ring, ready to announce the next match.)
KEVIN KELLY
Larry, we thank you for that special interview. Now let's take you back up to the ring and our special guest ring announcer, the Romantic Touch.
ROMANTIC TOUCH
This match-up is scheduled for one fall. Coming to the ring first, from Dayton, Ohio and representing
Ohio is 4 Killers, weighing 130 pounds, she gives me little heart attacks every time she's near me, the "Gem City Queen" Nevaeh. (Nevaeh steps into the ring, where the Romantic Touch hands her a rose and gives her a kiss on the cheek.) And her opponent, from Canton, Ohio. She weighs 170 pounds, Jessicka Havok. (The Romantic Touch tries to give Jessicka a rose as she enters the ring, but she takes it and stomps on it before grabbing the Romantic Touch and tossing him over the top rope and out of the ring before rushing Nevaeh and spearing her to the mat. Referee Paul Turner calls for the bell.)
Thanks to Havok's pre-match takedown, Jessicka was able to pick up the pinfall victory over Nevaeh after two consecutive HAVOKILLERs. (* 1/2)CROWD RECEPTION: Indifferent
NIELSON RATING: 4.0
(The show goes into a commercial break and when it returns, the Romantic Touch is standing in the ring, ready to announce the next match.)
ROMANTIC TOUCH
This match is scheduled for one fall. Coming to the ring first, formerly from Cincinnati, Ohio and now making her home in Tokyo, Japan, weighing 150 pounds, the "Diva Killer" Hailey Hatred. (Hailey steps into the ring, and the Romantic Touch hands her a rose and kisses her hand.) And her opponent, from Gulfport, Mississippi, weighing 150 pounds, Thunderkitty. (Thunderkitty enters the ring and makes a threatening gesture towards the Romantic Touch, who cautiously slides out of the ring. He wants no part of Thunderkitty.)
KEVIN KELLY
Referee Brian Gorle calls for the Code of Respect. Will we get a show of respect from Thunderkitty? Surprisingly enough, we do. There's the bell, and we are underway.
Hailey Hatred won the match when she used the DIVA KILLER to get the pinfall on Thunderkitty. (**)CROWD RECEPTION: Favorable
NIELSON RATING: 3.8
(The show goes into a commercial break and when it returns, the Romantic Touch is standing in the ring, ready to announce the next match.)
ROMANTIC TOUCH
This next match is scheduled for one fall. Coming to the ring first, from Forest Park, Illinois, weighing 117 pounds, Daizee Haze. (Daizee steps into the ring and takes the rose from the Romantic Touch, who kisses her hand.) And her opponent, from Dallas, Texas...or is it Saint Louis, Missouri? It could even be Chicago, Illinois. It doesn't matter, because all of those cities love her just like the Romantic Touch. She weighs 122 pounds, the "Wrestling Goddess" Athena. (Athena steps into the ring and accepts the rose from the Romantic Touch before embracing him. The Code of Respect is observed, and referee Paul Turner calls for the bell to begin the match.)
After an exciting match, Athena got the win when she used the O-FACE to get the pinfall on Daizee. (***)CROWD RECEPTION: Favorable
NIELSON RATING: 5.6
(The show goes into its final commercial break and when it returns, the Romantic Touch is standing in the ring with MsChif and the Ring of Respect Wrestling Women's champion Kacee Carlisle, ready to announce the main event.)
KEVIN KELY
It is main event time on Ring of Respect Wrestling
OVER-DRIVE - LADIES NIGHT. The competitors are already in the ring, so let's take you to our special guest ring announcer for the evening, the Romantic Touch, for the introductions.
ROMANTIC TOUCH
This is our holo-vision main event, and is a non-title match scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, the woman who looks good in green...of course she would look good in any color she chooses. From the Inferno, weighing 137 pounds, MsChif. (The Romantic Touch hands her a rose and kisses her on the cheek.) Her opponent is the current reigning and defending
Ring of Respect Wrestling Women's champion, but will she be the final champion at the end of
BATTLE-BALOO this weekend? She's from San Fransisco, California and weighs...(Kacee snatches the microphone from the Romantic Touch.)
KACEE CARLISLE
Listen here, you masked freak! It's none of your business and it's none of these idiot fans' business how much I weigh. And if you try to kiss me, I'm going to take that rose and shove it straight up your [CENSORED]! To answer your stupid question, at the end of our match at
BATTLE-BALOO, Bobby Cruise will be announcing to everybody that "the winner and final Ring of Respect Wrestling Women's champion is Kacee Carlisle," so deal with it! (She shoves the microphone into the Romantic Touch's chest, who grabs it and leaves the ring. Senior referee Todd Sinclair calls for the Code of Respect, but Kacee refuses to shake MsChif's hand. Therefore, Todd calls for the bell and the match begins.)
Kacee won the main event when referee Todd Sinclair disqualified MsChif for smashing Kacee into the announcer's table outside the ring with the Code Green. (**)CROWD RECEPTION: Favorable
NIELSON RATING: 6.7
(After the final match, the Romantic Touch steps into the ring.)
ROMANTIC TOUCH
Would all of the ladies please come back to the ring? (The entire Ring of Respect Wrestling women's division step through the curtain and enter the ring.) Ladies and gentlemen, please show your respect to these fine lovely Women of Respect. They've done an incredible job putting on a tremendous show for you tonight. (The crowd cheers loudly and throw red, white, and pink streamers into the ring as a show of respect for the women's division. As the Romantic Touch is hugging each and every woman, Maria Kanellis-Bennett crawls out from under the ring and slides in behind the Romantic Touch's back, where she delivers a forearm low blow to the Romantic Touch's crotch. As he starts to grab his groin in pain, the women scatter as Matt Taven slingshots off the top rope from the ring apron and delivers a clothesline to the Romantic Touch before pummelling on him. The referees and Ring of Respect Wrestling security personnel manage to separate the two men, with Taven shouting, "I'll kill you at
BATTLE-BALOO, Titus!"
STEVE CORINO
What a despicable thing for Matt Taven to do to the Romantic Touch! He was just showing his love to the ladies, and now he thinks that the Romantic Touch is really his former All Night Hoopla tag team partner Rhett Titus.
KEVIN KELLY
Fans, this will hopefully all be settled this weekend at the third annual Orion Sports and Entertainment Promotions cross-promotional pay per holo-view
BATTLE-BALOO. Join us for that. For all of us at Ring of Respect Wrestling, good night.
(The camera fades out and a vignette for
