Notes: Aplex here on the boards created a trio tandem of Gladiators called the Dreadnoks, Rapture, Riot & Onslaught. A tag team specialists brought in by Overmaster in the fight against Black Death. Upon creating these characters, we thought it would be fun to see just how they stack up against the rest of the competition. So with a little fine tuning to conform to the guidelines in place for the game, we set out to play test them. Aplex has both his original stats and the edited stats in his possession to try out as well. The goal here is to unofficially set up a play testing environment for the Dreadnoks using a six man tag team round robin tournament. Set as a Gauntlet style for the Dreadnoks to face everyone on the roster. I wanted to make this more fun by making it a roster wide competition as well to see how the rest stacked up in game play.

So goal 1 is Dreadnoks in an unofficial run of the gauntlet for play testing.
Goal 2 is the run the Round Robin with the rest of the roster as a GWF Event called the Trios Challenge. Let's begin and see how this unfolds. Meanwhile, sit back, enjoy the show!

Welcome to the Aethran War Dome, on Aethra. Aethran Overmaster has been fed up with the Black Death Team getting involved in his business and running rough shot over the GWF! So he called in reinforcements in the mold of the Dreadnoks! Highly skilled Aethran Military specialists respectively named Rapture, Riot & Onslaught. In a dramatic fashion at the end of 2128 PPV Rage In The Cage, Aethran Overmaster was defending his GWF Championship against Sur inside a Cosmic Cage! Black Death gets involved at the end attacking Overmaster. The Dreadnoks shocked the galaxy with their debut, coming to the aid of Overmaster and clearing the cage of Black Death very handily, standing their ground inside the cage. These three proclaimed that they are the best at what they do and are the greatest Trio Tandem in the entire galaxy, BAR NONE! Commissioner Euritar loved their moxie and decided the give them an opportunity to put their money where their mouth is! So he created a Trios Challenge to test their skills! 18 six man teams were drawn up to compete for the right to be considered the best Trios Tandem in the GWF!

This competition will be the best 2 out of 3 falls. Each team will face each other in a gauntlet style, Round Robin format. The team with the best record will win the Trios Challenge. In the event of a tie in win-loss, Falls For/Falls Against will also be tallied and used as the tie breaker. If we still have a tie, the who beat who will ultimately determines who gets crowned the champion!

On a side note here, The Gladiators Paralyze, Rush & Turmoil were quietly upset with the entrance of the Dreadnoks, feeling that their presence here is 'unnecessary'. Feeling a little under appreciated by the Overmaster, Paralyze has said that the Gladiators have always done what their told and have had success in the past. "Why do we need these three (Rapture, Riot & Onslaught) here? We can handle the business of the Black Death on our own!" The Gladiators feel they have something to prove and you can bet they will stop at nothing to win this thing!

Trios Challenge Announcement!!!!

Commissioner Euritar stated in a press conference that he was impressed by the young Aethran Trio Rapture, Riot and Onslaught! HOWEVER, he smells a rat! Euritar believes that these three might not as strong as they are if not for the help of some 'special enhancements of an artificial nature'. And he wasn't talking about the Aethran Cleansing either!!! Euritar is demanding a physical screening to make sure there are no drugs or other enhancing chemicals in their system! IF there is anything found, they will be AUTOMATICALLY BANISHED FROM THE GWF FOREVER!!!

And one last message from Euritar to end the conference, he stated that because of these suspicions, he will make a ruling in the Trios Challenge, that if ANY team betters The Dreadnoks standing of 12-5 (26-13) record in place, that the Dreadnoks will be BANISHED as well! Never to return to the GWF!

Aethran Overmaster was livid when hearing this, rampaging in the backstage, tossing tables & chairs around. Cursing of Euritar and stomping, kicking the doors, or anything else that got in his way!
