West Coast Warrior Meet-Up! - 09/01/2013 12PM - Burbank, CA

I had a blast today! It was great catching up with the guys and rolling the dice. And that I finally made it into a final round really made my day. Hopefully I will be back for this again next year.

What an awesome weekend (and it is still going on as I do not go back to work until Tuesday) in California as I went to both nights of BOLA at PWG in Reseda with Cman and then spent the afternoon in Burbank today rolling the dice with 5 awesome friends!

for the LOW round robin, I chose Jimmy Snuka since I am currently reading Snuka's book. I only went 3-5 with Snuka but that actually included a victory over the Macho Man and 3-4 of my 5 losses with Snuka were actually by DQ.

for the current-GWF round robin, I drew the first pick and I chose Shayne because I really wanted to use the GWF version of (Mr. PWG) Kevin Steen. with Shayne, I defeated End of Days in the first round of the round robin to weaken him up (and give him what turned out to be his only loss) but Andy still expertly guided End of Days to a victory in both the round robin and in the overall tournament today.

afterward, I enjoyed eating dinner with Toasterboy and Cman at the sports bar across the street (thanks to Toasterboy for offering to pay our bill and next time I see Toasterboy dinner is definitely on me!) and then I drove down the street to the Bob Hope Airport to turn in my rental car and catch my 40 minute flight home to Las Vegas (my flight attendant gave me a free beer. )

Thanks again to Toasterboy for setting everything up today and I am really looking forward to the next Galactical!
