- FADE IN -EYDILON welcomed the fans to 2135. The fans responded with thundering boos. He announced that, as per GODSEND’S wishes, SUDDEN DEATH begins tonight! He also announced that due to BEX’s mysterious disappearance, BLACK DEATH has been forced to VACATE the GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP. A tournament will be held to crown the new champions ad that tournament will begin on the next card! He then announced that not only would the first match tonight be a SUDDEN DEATH match, it would also be a showcase for one of the CRIME STOPPERS as SLY DRURY was to face SUNMAN! The fans were eager to see the CRIME STOPPERS in action and it looks they they wouldn’t have to wait long at all! - SUDDEN DEATH -

Sly Drury defeated Sunman with a REGIME CHANGE (pinfall) - *** - A rather lackluster debut for SUNMAN. Despite a few impressive moves, SLY DRURY dominated the match and scored the firsts points in 2135 SUDDEN DEATH points! - SUDDEN DEATH -
Ghena defeated Sur with a smash into announcer’s table (disqualification) - DUD - The moment the bell range, these two tumbled out of the ring and despite the ref’s best efforts, they wouldn’t go back in! The final straw was when SUR smashed GHENA into the announcer’s table. The two continued to brawl until officials separated them. - SUDDEN DEATH -
Kill Prey defeated The Loyalist with a Snap Snare - ** - THE LOYALIST looked impressive in his debut and was able to go toe-to-toe with KILL PREY for most of the match. KILL PREY saw an opening and took it, picking up the victory to the dismay of the CASTILEX crowd. - CASTILEX HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP - EARTH LADDER MATCH -
Bishop Hell (II) defeated Demon Godsend with a grabs the title after HELLFIRE (pinfall) - **** - Thunder rumbles throughout the arena as BISHOP HELL (II) grabs the title and becomes the new CASTILEX HARDCORE CHAMPION! Shann-ra defeated Lady Godsend with a PITFALL (pinfall) - **1/2 - Lightning strikes twice! SHANN-RA has taken down LADY GODSEND again and is now a dual champion! The CROWD is rabid! KILL PREY grabs the title and his sister’s arm and pulls her away from ringside. LADY GODSEND is outraged! Her impressive 25 card reign is finished! Gladiators 2133 d. Castilex when Probation defeated Moog with an UNCHAINED (pinfall) - ***** - THE GLADIATORS DEFEAT CASTILEX! The entire CASTILEX AMPHITHEATER shakes as if the very planet itself is splitting apart! GLADIATORS and PARALYZE leave ringside immediately as the fans begin a riot! In a pre-recorded statement, EYDILON announces the beginning of the tournament to crown the new GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS. Two matches tonight. Two matches on INVASION and the semi-finals and finals at INFERNO. He also announces, as one of GODSEND’S whims, that the SUDDEN DEATH matches the roster will wrestle in throughout the year will be completely random. EYDILON: When you have a string of Team vs. Team matches, teams have a chance to prepare for their opponents. This year GODSEND has decreed that the matches will be at random and participants won’t know who they will be facing until moments before the match. This will give a true measure of how wrestlers fare in SUDDEN DEATH. So it is decreed by GODSEND!Blue Dazzler d. Sinful d. Catfight via pinfall after FELINE FURY (LIFE BLOOD) - * - SINFUL shocks CATFIGHT by using her own move against her scoring big SUDDEN DEATH points in a quick match. GLADIATORS d. THEATRE OF WAR via pinfall when Fist smashes Disciple of Theatre with WEAPONS - * - DISCIPLE OF THEATRE has a ton of offense in the beginning but the action spilled outside the ring and FIST brained the lizard man with a chair behind the ref’s back and turned the tide. MURTAK argues the decision with the ref but it was to no avail but the ref, like everyone else, doesn’t believe the orange faced dictator. GLADIATORS score points here. PREDATORS d. VAMPIRE LEGENDS via submission when Wolf slaps the SAVAGE FACE CLAW on Coven Black - *** - One of the hottest feuds of 2134 reignites here tonight as both of these teams tear into each other. COUNT NECROS came close to pinning LOPE several times but he tagged out and WOLF came in a dominant monster, destroying NECROS and then COVEN BLACK when he tagged in. ANIMEN get some solid SUDDEN DEATH points here. CASTILEX d. TITAN BUSHIDO via submission after Moog locks Kenji in a Cobra Clutch Suplex - * - CASTILEX using the strategy of starting with MOOG and never tagging out goes well as MOOG is able to wear down KENJI and pick up the win, giving the KINGDOM some much needed SUDDEN DEATH points. Aethran Overmaster d. PSI via count out after a vicious pile driver on the arena floor - ***1/2 - This one actually looked like it could go either way! PSI came close to victory several times but OVERMASTER put an immediate end to the situation with a devastating pile driver to the floor. GLADIATORS rack up a point for this victory. Godsend d. Perfect Specimen via pinfall after KINGDOM COME - ****1/2 - Hard fought match here by these two alpha athletes. Despite some late match interference by LORD NEXUS, GODSEND was able to pick up the win and score some points. After the match, Godsend bragged to Gryt that he doesn’t even have to be in the SUDDEN DEATH contest but he is to prove his worth. The crowd booed at these words. MAIN EVENT

PROUDLY PRESENTS CARD 2135.379 Live from Praesepe Tower, Cancer! Commentary: Trent Lawless
Backstage/Ringside: Gryt
FADE IN COSMIC WOMAN hovers a few inches above the mat in the center of the ring. BUSTER is ringside, wide-eyed looking at the fans. ELINA and COMMANDER SAM make their way to the ring. Both confer quietly as they walk. The crowd cheering them wildly. ELINA pauses for a moment before climbing through the ropes, but does and crosses over to COSMIC WOMAN. The strange being floats to the mat and, in a surprising gesture, smiles and extends a hand. ELINA, cautiously, shakes it and there is a big cheer from the crowd. BUSTER runs around to the opposite side of the ring and, to everyone’s amusement, gives COMMANDER SAM a big bearhug around the waist. Well, as big as his tiny gecko arms can give a bearhug. SAM smiles and pats him on the head as the bell rings. SUDDEN DEATH POINTS
Cosmic Woman d. Elina via pinfall with SHOOTING STAR - **1/2 - It took COSMIC WOMAN several minutes to find her footing in the ring while ELINA peppered her with her trademark blistering offense but once COSMIC WOMAN locked in she made short work of her opponent. GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
SECURITY SQUAD (II) d. CASTILEX via pinfall after Code Destroyer clobbers Moog with EAT CROW five times in a row - ** - Though they got the win, this was a super frustrating match for SECURITY SQUAD (II). MOOG was seemingly impervious to anything OVERTIME or CODE DESTROYER could dish out! After hitting the man with three a GRAVITY BOMBS to no effect, OVERTIME tagged out and refused to tag back in at any point! In the end, SECURITY SQUAD (II) moves forward in the tournament. The Loyalist d. Epoch via DQ when the action tumbled outside the ring and the ref saw Epoch smash Loyalist with a repulser that was lying to ringside - DUD - A brawl from the opening bell, this one quickly went off the rails. Security had to separate the two men who yelled at each other as they were pulled apart. GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT
MEAN STREETS d. FDF TRADITION via pinfall after DOUBLE DISPATCH - **1/2 - With quick tags from both teams, this match kept the crowd on their toes and it appeared as it could go either way. MEAN STREETS gets the victory and advances to INFERNO. SUDDEN DEATH POINTS
Sly Drury d. Burning Man via pinfall with REGIME CHANGE - * - SLY DRURY controlled the match here, easily snuffing out BURNING MAN and snatching some points away from KINGDOM COME. SUDDEN DEATH POINTS

Skull d. Euritar (II) via submission with COMPRESSION - **1/2 - SKULL looking impressive and eerie in his debut. EURITAR (II) fought bravely but just had no baseline to deal with the unusual wrestler that is SKULL. As SKULL hovers triumphantly in the ring, we cut to backstage where we see DARK MENACE tapping some keys on a HoloScreen. A hulking figure appears behind him and he spins with a start. DEMON GODSEND: He wants to see you.DARK MENACE nods and quickly follows as DEMON GODSEND leaves the room.. DARK MENACE: Any idea what this is about?DEMON GODSEND doesn’t reply. He just stops in front of a door and points to it. DARK MENACE swallows and opens the door. GODSENDS sits in a chair inside. GODSEND: Menace, you assured me that this technology you had stolen would benefit KINGDOM COME, yet here we are going into INFERNO at the near bottom of the SUDDEN DEATH STANDINGS. Explain.DARK MENACE: Well, you see, sir, it….um….it’s not an exact science. When I stole the tech from MadCliff, I was only able to get part of the codework the rest has been trial and error to figure out.GODSEND sighs. GODSEND: I have no patience for error, Menace. And my patience with you is running even thinner. Get the technology working or you will make an incredible scientific discovery of a new kind.

The Predators ran into Gladiators and Mean Streets in my fed over the last two house shows...those matches were brutal! Can only imagine how they were in your fed...
I'm warming up to Shayne but still not a big fan for some reason...and Congrats to the Overmaster on his big win!

The Predators ran into Gladiators and Mean Streets in my fed over the last two house shows...those matches were brutal! Can only imagine how they were in your fed... I'm warming up to Shayne but still not a big fan for some reason...and Congrats to the Overmaster on his big win! Great card Grant! Coming to GCON this year? Thanks for reading. To me, MEAN STREETS is about as milquetoast a tag team as you can get. I’m actually looking forward to their title reign because it might make them more interesting in my eyes. They just always seem to choke when it matters most. Perhaps that’ll all be different going forward. As for GCon, not sure. Have been researching flights.  Thanks again! |

HISTORY OF A REIGNThere has never been anything like it. In the 61 year history of the GWF, there has never been a title reign like this. Shayne’s historic 75 card title reign dwarfs any other in the history of the Federation. Most reigns ended after 20 cards. In fact, one of the longest GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP reigns before this was also Shayne at 24 cards and at the time the was seen as historic! And to add to the honor, while holding the GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP, Shayne won the CASTILEX HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP and defended that belt as well. Often he’d fight on back to back cards defending them both and one night, he defended the CASTILEX HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP not once, but TWICE in one night AFTER defending the GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP moments before! There has never been an athlete like Shayne in the GWF. People like to throw around the phrase Greatest of All Time. They bestow and remove that moniker on a whim.
