From Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars

We open on OMEGA standing in the middle of the ring. A single spotlight shines down on him. The ring is surrounded by a COSMIC CAGE.

OMEGA says that at BIG BANG he learned something. He learned that MORPHEUS was right. He has been off his game. Perhaps the time he spends behind the scenes with promotions and contracts is affecting his in ring performance. He then said he wanted MORPHEUS to come out.

MORPHEUS hits the top of the ramp. He stares at OMEGA. OMEGA says he understands that after BIG BANG MORPHEUS feels that things are over between the two of them but he knows that deep down inside, MORPHEUS knows they make a team that when it works, is pretty invincible. So tonight, OMEGA has a proposition. Tonight, he is challenging MORPHEUS to a match, in a COSMIC CAGE.

If MORPHEUS wins, they will go their separate ways in the ring. If that brings them in direct competition so be it. But if OMEGA wins, MORPHEUS has to agree to reform THE GUARDIANS and go after DORADO SUNDOWN in order to run them out of the GWF forever. Because deep down he knows that DORADO SUNDOW MUST be run out in order to keep the GWF on the right course.

MORPHEUS stands there for a moment pondering. Then in a heartbeat, he’s heading to the ring removing his robe! We have a match!

- COSMIC CAGE MATCH -
Omega vs. Morpheus
Morpheus defeated Omega with an escape after a spectacular deathjump from the top of the cage – pinfall

Match Notes: After the bell rang, MORPHEUS stood and looked back into the ring. He shook his head as he watched OMEGA slowly get to his feet. The two locked eyes for a moment, then MORPHEUS threw his hands up in disgust and walked away.

Commander Sam vs. Torpor
Commander Sam defeated Torpor with a pinfall after STAR SPANGLED BANNER
Match Rating: 1.50
Match Notes: SAM makes up for his BIG BANG loss by soundly beating TORPOR here tonight.

PALADIN POWER vs. CROSSCURRENTS
Moonstrike defeated Thetis with a pinfall after a moonsault
Match Rating: 0.75
Match Notes: PALADIN POWER easily overpowers CROSSCURRENTS in what was almost a complete SQUASH of a match.

RICKEN PRINCE comes to the ring and asks for the mic. He says that he knows there was a lot of speculation out there among the fans as to why he faired so poorly in the CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS. He says he didn’t sign up with the GWF to win contests. He came her to gain respect and the way you do that is to get men to grovel before you. His said his mission is to make everyone here in the GWF kneel before him. He issues an open challenge to any GWF wrestler who does not have a match tonight, to come out here and face him and he promises he’ll make him bow before him.

There’s a brief pause and then suddenly BLOOD from DEFIANCE rushes the ring and we have a match!

Ricken Prince vs. Blood
Ricken Prince defeated Blood with a pinfall after BOW TO THE PRINCE

Match Notes: RICKEN PRINCE makes BLOOD kneel before him, and behind the ref’s back, and picks up the win, doing exactly what he says he would. He grabbed the mic after and said he’d be back at the next card to do it all over again.

DORADO SUNDOWN vs. THE MENSANS
for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship
Bullwhip defeated Trotarus with a pinfall after TWELVE O’CLOCK HIGH
Match Rating: 2.00
Match Notes: DORADO SUNDOWN easily shoot down their number on competition for the belts. After the match, BLACKLASH grabbed a mic and said it’s too bad that THE GUARDIANS are no more as they would have liked the competition. But in the meantime, they’ll be happy whomping on what’s left of the tag team ranks.

- GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH -
K.O. Keller vs. Torin Caelum
for the Galaxian Championship
Torin Caelum defeated K.O. Keller with a submission after CAELUM’S GRIP
Match Rating: 4.00
Match Notes: Now THIS was the match that many expected from these two at BIG BANG! An amazing back and forth that saw KELLER come very close to winning the belt several times. In the end it was CAELUM with his hand raised. The two shook hands afterwards and hugged. The crowd gave them both a standing ovation. An amazing way to kick off the new year here in the GWF!

OMEGA is standing in the ring. He says that last month he lied. He lied about him and MORPHEUS going their separate ways if he lost. He says that he is responsible for the tine and integrity the GWF takes and as one of the owners he gets to decide matches. SO tonight THE GUARDIANS are slated to face DORADO SUNDOWN for the GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP!

This brings out MORPHEUS. He says he knew OMEGA just couldn’t leave it all alone. Admit he beat and just resign to the front office and let him lead things in the ring.

He warns OMEGA that if he continues this trend he’s going to wind up a washed up wrestler competing way past his prime. He smiles though and says he NEVER turns down a chance at gold though, so tonight he’ll once again stand by his side.

RICKEN PRINCE comes out and says that his challenge to make every competitor in the GWF bow to him continues on and he issues another open challenge to ANYONE in the locker room who dares step up to the plate!

TORPOR is here and climbs into the ring as RICKEN PRINCE laughs and prepares for the bell!

Ricken Prince defeated Torpor with a pinfall after ROYAL DECREE

Match Notes: After the bell, RICKEN PRINCE drags TORPOR to his knees and forces him to bow to him. Suddenly out of nowhere, Jammer hits the ring and starts attacking the PRINCE. JAMMER grabs the mic and says next month he’ll gladly take on the PRINCE’S challenge to win back the pride of BLOOD’S loss last month!

THE MENSANS vs. PALADIN POWER
Cordsar defeated Solar Flare with a submission with the MENSAN LOCK

Match Notes: THE MENSANS pick up a strong win here against PALADIN POWER.

DEFIANCE vs. CROSSCURRENTS
Blood defeated Thetis with a submission with SCAR TISSUE
Match Rating: 0.10
Match Notes: THE CROSSCURRENTS just could not gat any tracking in this match and even with quick tags, lost quickly.

DORADO SUNDOWN hits the ring. BLACKLASH grabs the mic. He says that it’s kind of funny that OMEGA wants to rid the GWF of DORADO SUNDOWN because he thinks we resort to underhanded tactics, yet who is it in the GWF that gives themselves title shots? OMEGA and MORPHEUS! He says that’s fine though because they’ve beaten THE GUARDIANS before and they’ll gladly do it again.

DORADO SUNDOWN vs. THE GUARDIANS

Blacklash defeated Morpheus with a DQ when a wild brawl erupts outside the ring area

Match Notes: OMEGA looked better than we’ve seen him in months in this match. He singlehandedly brought DORADO SUNDOWN close to losing several times. But had to make the tag to MORPHEUS. This is where tempers flared and a wild brawl broke out! DORADO SUNDOWN get the win much to the dismay of THE GUARDIANS.

Once again OMEGA is in the ring. He says that last month DORADO SUNDOWN instigated a brawl that broiled over into a DQ. He says, tonight they will face THE GUARDIANS again. For the belts. MORPHEUS comes out. He says that he stands by OMEGA but at times, like now, OMEGA makes it hard. He says that while he doesn’t necessarily agree with 100% of DORADO SUNDOWN’S attitude. He feels that OMEGA has made it some bizarre goal to get them out of the GWF. OMEGA explains that the GWF is about competition, not taking over. MORPHEUS says that by making championship matches putting himself in as the contender makes him almost a mirror of what DORADO SUNDOWN would do if they were in charge. So again, MORPHEUS says, he’ll stand by him, but he’s coming close to crossing a line.

Torpor vs. Santon The Loner
Santon The Loner defeated Torpor with a DQ when TORPOR slammed SANTON on the arena floor

Match Notes: This one went nowhere fast. It was over minutes before it began due to a DQ from TORPOR.

Screw vs. K.O. Keller
Screw defeated K.O. Keller with a DQ after a slam onto the ring floor

Match Notes: Many were looking forward to this brawl between the two men who were the most recent #1 contenders, but like the match before it ended in a DQ.

CROSSCURRENTS vs. PALADIN POWER
Vortex defeated Moonstrike with a DQ after MOONSTRIKE slammed VORTEX on the arena floor

Match Notes: Well, the CROSSCURRENTS pick up a win, but not in the manner I’m sure they would have liked.

Ricken Prince vs. Jammer
Jammer defeated Ricken Prince with a DQ when RICKEN PRINCE slammed JAMMER’S knee into the ringpost at ringside

Match Notes: JAMMER was taking RICKEN PRINCE to the limit. The action spilled outside and PRINCE grabbed JAMMER and slammed his knee into a ringpost. The ref called the match, RICKEN PRINCE was DQ’d and JAMMER had to be helped to the back.

THE GUARDIANS vs. DORADO SUNDOWN

Match Notes: THE GUARDIANS take the titles from DORADO SUNDOWN! The place is electric. OMEGA and MORPHEUS have the belts. They shake hands, but then MORPHEUS shakes his head and walks out of the ring. People now wonder if DORADO SUNDOWN will keep their promise and leave the GWF.

We open on OMEGA and MORPHEUS standing in the middle of the ring of the sold out DEIMOS INTERGALACTIC ARENA. OMEGA welcomes everyone and informs them that once again, all GWF talent will be competing in another CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS! He announces that like last year every time champions wrestles, the title is on the line just like last year, so throughout the year, most of the roster will get a chance to wrestle for the belt.

MORPHEUS takes the mic and announces that there have been some new signings recently as well. He’s says he’s scoured the galaxy looking for the brightest and best in the galaxy to bring to the GWF and the fans will see all the new signings here tonight. In fact, he adds, they’ll see the most unusual of the signings right now squaring off against OMEGA. He the introduces the, bizarre, MIMIC!

Omega vs. Mimic
Omega defeated Mimic with a countout when MIMIC starts doing a mime routine outside the ring and refuses to come back in

Match Notes: A very strange finish to this match. MIMIC got tossed outside the ring and then began doing an elaborate mime routine and got himself counted out. OMEGA and all in attendance were scratching their heads at this new entry into the GWF.

Cosmos vs. Santon The Loner
Thantos defeated Santon The Loner with a DQ when SANTON slams COSMOS into the ringpost

Match Notes: The youngster COSMOS was, no doubt, hoping for a better showcase of his skills in his first match in the GWF, but at least he picked up a win against SANTON.

Match Notes: COMMANDER SAM looked better than he had in months but he was no match for SCREW who barely gave him a chance to mount any offense.
