the tower of power leaves Deva sour...Monolith wasn't denied. impressive show start to finish. Scorn shows she's more focused, Shayne needs to focus, he's letting himself be his own worst enemy. big win for Taichi, keeping TITAN's on top and snaking the belt. Titan Power...not sure why, but I don't like him...maybe in time...but solid win for the Bew Vibe's masked man. Gladiators....in a cage. Nope bad idea. a long line of headbangers shows why, a caage just limits YOUR room to run and gives the legal weapon (cage) to use. MONOLITH WINS!!! nuff said there great show

Thanks for reading.

Card 486 from Tirion Sports Palace, Tirion. June 28, 2138
The show began with Murtak headed to the ring waving The Conquerer's flag. He said that his team has had their problems but they are all back now at 100% and it's a fresh page. The fans let him have it.
Istar dispatched Murtak with a LIGHTNING ROLL UP - ★ - For all his bluster, Murtak got in some solid offense and made Istar work for the victory.
Scorn beat Sinful with WESTERN LASSO - ★ - Quick victory. After the match, Scorn thanked Elina, Catfight and Taichi for helping her 'get her head straight.' She thanked the fans for sticking with her and promised big things in the weeks to come.
Blood and Fire crushed The Natives when Burning Man pinned Ygorr after EXHAUSTION - SQUASH - Dominant victory. Count Necros told Gryt that Blood and Fire has a new target in their sights and that target will be revealed soon.
In a Grudge Match resulting from The Reckoning, Saber beat Tempest with SONIC WAVE - ★★★ - This feud has bubbled up again. After the bell, Tempest challenged Saber to a match where he didn't have his sword at ringside. Will Saber accept? He left without comment here.
In the Main Event, FDF Tradition made short work of Evolved when Climber pinned Tarval after FDF TRADITION - ★ - Climber and Tank were the epitome of tag team wrestling here, not giving any offense and picking up the win in decisive fashion.

Istar building his legacy slowly and smartly. Scorn again doing it right. Blood & Fire starting to be more than Head Cheese as a team (Al Snow/Steve Blackman) but can they keep it up? what is up with Tempest? he started hot but now belly up. is lack of ringside manager killing his career? FDF Tradition...yawn. you failed at crunch time fellas, the Gladiators are killing wholle worlds, get cheered and paid for it, think on that as you celebrate/ Deva needs to hire a new monster team, New Vibe has nuthin'
good show

Card 487 from Olympus Mons Acropolis, Mars. July 5, 2138.
The show began with Deva addressing the news surrounding the meteor storms forecasted to pummel Auriga, where the GWF's next card, 488, is scheduled to take place. She said she is monitoring the situation and will make a decision once the date draws closer.
Elina beat Bloody Marry via disqualification when Marry refused to stop choking her with her veil - ★★★ - Bloody Marry was more vicious in this match than we've ever seen her, if that's possible. She's determined to take out all of Taichi's friends until she can get a rematch for the title.
The Basilisk absolutely destroyed Faller mercifully putting him away after a, surprising, perfect cross body block from the top rope - SQUASH - Faller was a bloody mess after this, unable to stand under his own power. Lord Nexus rushed ringside to help him.
Zulfiqar beat Perfect Specimen with CRY "NINKARAK" - ★★ - This match came about because of comments Perfect Specimen made to the press after Titan Power won the Interplanetary Championship. His quote was, "The New Vibe is too new to be fighting for titles." Zulfiqar stepped up to defend his teammate and did so very well.
A match between The Natives and Titan Samurai ended in a DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION when Blood and Fire stormed the ring and laid out both teams - DUD - Though they attacked both teams, Burning Man and Count Necros seemed to focus on Titan Samurai. Are they the 'new targets' they spoke of on card 486?
In a wild Main Event, a Milky Way Falls Count Anywhere Match, Shayne put Grand Master away with SHOWDOWN thanks to Shayne's Fury - ★★★★ - A decisive victory for Shayne who was in control the majority of the match.
After the match, Shayne grabbed a floating camera and yelled, "Monolith. I'll go through every top contender until I reclaim what's mine."

Marry is a monster on the women ranks like none before. not sure if pins really matter to her. Basilisk was the first Void champ (loserweight) and reigned 10 cards as he kept getting DQ'd...a lot. Zulfiqar is to honorable to be around long. tough loss for Specs/ the Natives...WTF! they are cannon fodder! Titan Samurai really needs Nexus as they seem different. Shayne...Shayne...Shayne. don't poke the slumbering beast, you are crunchy and taste good with ketsup

Card 488 from Maxus Trinary Towers, Auriga. July 12, 2138
The arena was only one quarter full of fans when Deva made her way to the ring. She welcomed everyone and said that the meteor storms really wreaked havoc with the GWF travel plans and only a small handful of wrestlers were able to make it to the venue. Despite that, she promised a big night of action that would have title ramifications going forward. Before the opening match, she invited all the fans to ignore the seat numbers on their tickets and fill in all the available seating around ringside.
In a Tirion Triple Threat Match where the winner would get a title shot at the Galaxian Women's Championship, Lady Grand Master beat Catfight with HEROINE'S JOURNEY. Scorn was also in the match but was knocked out when the fall happened - ★★★ - Lady Grand Master with a big win that will give her a shot against Taichi in an upcong card.
Deva then announced that tonight we'd have a four man Cosmic Storm Tournament where the winner would get a title shot for any title he chose. The competitors: Mr. Everything, Orrus, Tank and Demon Godsend.
1. Orrus beat Demon Godsend with the UNSTOPPABLE SLAM - ★ 2. Orrus used the UNSTOPPABLE SLAM to beat Mr. Everything - ★★★★ 3. Orrus beat Demon Godsend with brutal Evolution Elbows - ★ - Demon Godsend eliminated. 4. Tank caught Orrus with the PEACEMAKER SLINGSHOT - ★★ 5. Orrus got his win back against Tank with the UNSTOPPABLE SLAM - ★★★★ - Incredible match! 6. Tank eliminated Orrus with a perfect cross body block in a Match of the Year Candidate - ★★★★★ - Orrus eliminated. 7. Mr. Everything eliminated Tank with IMPRESSIVE to win the tournament and get a title shot for any title he chooses - ★★ - The fans were not happy with this and some fans have started turning on Deva saying she rigged the randomization of the tournament to give Mr. Everything fewer matches and longer rest times. She denied this to Gryt.
In the Main Event, Siege destroyed Havoc in record time - ★★ - If Havoc would have won, he would have gotten a Galaxian Tag Team Championship title shot with a partner of his choosing. Siege made sure that didn't happen.
What a night of action!
Promoter Note: I wanted to give myself a booking challenge in booking a card with just a limited number of wrestlers and forgetting feuds and the like, for one night. All the wrestlers who appeared were chosen completely at random and the matches/stipulations made on the fly. It was a fun challenge and led to some amazing matches. Wouldn't do it all the time, but would work it in again to keep things fresh.

what a card. Lady Grandmaster got lucky tonight. Scorn knocked out shows they fear her...j/k. should've made a fatal four for the belt. Deva rigged it and Everything skates in to win after Orrus thumped him good early on. come on Orrus did 6 in a row. Everything did #2 & #7.
gonna have to try this challenge, either GWF or FTW when I get out of here. great show

Card 489 from Castilex Amphitheater, Castilex. July 19, 2138
The show opened with a shot of the empty Castilex Amphitheater. On one side of the ring stood The Liberators team (Exo-King II, Grand Master, Havoc, Lady Grand Master, Killer Queen II) with Massif.
On the other stood The Foundation (Monolith, Castilex, Catfight) with Vizir the Elder and Maggie. The two teams glared at each other. They'd been summoned here by the GWF offices but did not know why.
Suddenly, a transporter beam filled the center of the ring and after a flash of light, The Gladiators (Apex, Gladiators (Siege & Fist), Aethran Soldier, Bulldoze, Storm) with, shockingly, The Dark Menace were present! They saw they were surrounded and got into defensive positions.
A hologram of Deva appeared on the dais. Her amplified voice demanded attention. She said that the violence brought on by the Battle for Castilex is untenable in the GWF and from now on all matches between those fighting for Castilex would be fought here. They will be broadcast, but no audiences will be allowed.
She then announced that any title currently held or gained while this Battle continues will never be defended on Castilex and champions would still have to make their scheduled defenses elsewhere in the galaxy. She also noted that a win over a champion here on Castilex meant nothing in terms of getting a title shot.
Finally she announced that GWF officials would be overseeing matches here on Castilex but the three teams were welcome 'to beat the Brymstone out of each other' using whatever stipulations they wanted. There would be no suspensions for actions here on Castilex but they'd doubled elsewhere in the GWF.
Before the hologram vanished, Deva announced that managers could be at ringside here on Castilex but not in the regular GWF and that she had personally scheduled the matches for this first card but future ones would be up to Vizir, The Dark Menace and Massif to work out.
In the opening match, an Aethran Soldier used a diving head butt to beat Moog in a strong statement for the returning Gladiators - ★★★ - This match was long and drawn out as these two went at it.
After the bell Gryt, via remote connection, asked The Dark Menace where the Gladiators had been and when he had patched things up with them. The Dark Menace snarled and told him it was, "none of a welp's business' and that tonight the Gladiators would let their actions speak for themselves.
Killer Queen II shocked Bulldoze with a cross body block out of nowhere - ★★★★ - A super competitive match and Killer Queen II's victory shows just how far she's come since her rookie year. A solid win for The Liberators
Gladiators (Siege & Fist) beat Sovereign when Siege hit Exo-King II with the AETHRAN CRIPPLER - ★ - Dominant victory here by Fist and Siege who have completely dominated every tag team in the GWF. If The Battle of Castilex was settled by this match, The Gladiators could declare victory.
Storm beat Catfight with VICTORY LAP - ★★★★ - This was a wild one that saw Massif interfere at one point and get ejected. After the match, the official said Massif was ejected for the rest of the night! Shocking!
Sentinel beat Havoc after hitting him with NIGHTWATCH three times in a row to score a victory for The Foundation - ★★★★★ - What a match! Sentinel showed perhaps he would be a solid singles wrestler in this Match of the Year candidate.
In the Main Event, Apex crushed Monolith with APEX OF GLORY - ★★ - Monolith was off his game for sure here. Apex destroyed him.
After the bell, with Apex standing over Monolith, The Dark Menace crowed that The Gladiators were back and the Battle of Castilex was as good as over!
The Battle For Castilex Standings* The Gladiators - 4-1 The Liberators - 1-2 The Foundation - 1-3
*Promoter Note: I'm just keeping these for fun. They have no significant meaning other than tracking which team has the most wins.
