CROSSCURRENTS d. THE MENSANS when Vortex defeated Cordsar with a pinfall via the WATERY GRAVE. – *
Screw defeated Commander Sam with a pinfall after FREAKISH FACE SLAM. – *
THE GUARDIANS d. DORADO SUNDOWN when Morpheus defeated Bullwhip with a DQ when BULLWHIP slams MORPHEUS on the concrete floor outisde the ring. – ***1/2 – Match Notes: Fans suspected that in this meeting of these hated rivals, DORADO SUNDOWN wouldn’t play fair and they didn’t! This one was wild from opening bell till the ref called for the DQ!
- GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH -
Torin Caelum defeated Ricken Prince with a pinfall after a standing dropkick. – * – Match Notes: The match between these two sometimes allies was short and sweet. CAELUM seemed to know just where to take advantage and even though the PRINCE got SOME offense in, CAELUM was able to handle him well and retain his GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP.

Santon The Loner defeated Commander Sam with a DQ when SAM slams SANTON’S head into the steel post at ringside. – *** – Match Notes: Pretty even match until the DQ ending.
Omega defeated Torpor with a submission with an abdominal stretch. – * – Match Notes: OMEGA made pretty short work of TORPOR to pick up the win.
DORADO SUNDOWN d. THE MENSANS when Blacklash defeated Trotarus with a pinfall after RUSTLER’S STAMPEDE. – * – Match Notes: A quick match that saw DORADO SUNDOWN dominate.
Screw defeated Ricken Prince with a DQ when RICKEN PRINCE hits the BOW TO THE PRINCE. – * – Match Notes: RICKEN PRINCE loses another match due to DQ. He will not get far in the Contest of Champions if he keeps this up.
- GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP -
PALADIN POWER d. DEFIANCE when Solar Flare defeated Blood with a pinfall after a PATRIOT MISSLE. – ** – Match Notes: PALADIN POWER becomes the new GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS in a short and sweet match that saw very little offense from DEFIANCE.
- GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH -
Morpheus defeated Torin Caelum with a DQ when the action spills outside and CAELUM won’t stop brawling. – * – Match Notes: MORPHEUS hands CAELUM his first loss but it’s by DQ so CAELUM retains the belt. MORPHEUS was extremely frustrated after the match, but he is the one who took the action outside in the first place, so he’s not getting much sympathy. Of course, due to the nature of CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS, he’ll have to wait a bit to get another shot at the belt.

Omega defeated Santon The Loner with a pinfall after COSMIC WAR DANCE. – ** – Match Notes: Good back and forth, but OMEGA dominates.
Morpheus defeated Screw with a DQ when SCREW refused to stop brawling outside the ring. – ***1/2 – Match Notes: Very competitive match until the DQ finish.
Commander Sam defeated Ricken Prince with a DQ when RICKEN PRINCE hits the BOW TO THE PRINCE. – * – Match Notes: RICKEN PRINCE clearly has no desire to compete in the CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS. It seems he almost clearly got himself DQ’d against SAM.
THE GUARDIANS d. DEFIANCE when Omega defeated Jammer with a pinfall after the COSMIC WAR DANCE. – * – Match Notes: THE GUARDIANS used quick tags to easily take care of DEFIANCE.
K.O. Keller defeated Torpor with a pinfall after THE TEN COUNT. – * – Match Notes: KELLER makes short work of TORPOR in this match.

SUPERNOVA
From Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Deimos
Ricken Prince defeated Morpheus with a DQ when MORPHEUS refuses to stop brawling. – *1/2 – Match Notes: It almost seems as if MORPHEUS had one purpose in this match, to get DQ’d before RICKEN PRINCE did. As MORPHEUS beat RICKEN PRINCE outside the ring he was yelling at him about respect for the sport! The loss doesn’t hurt MORPHEUS too bad in the standings of the CoC. Time will tell if RICKEN PRINCE changes his ways.
Omega defeated Commander Sam with a DQ after a slam onto the ring floor. – ** – Match Notes: These two friends went at it tooth and nail, but SAM got carried away and slammed OMEGA onto the concrete floor at ringside, getting himself DQ’d.
DEFIANCE d. DORADO SUNDOWN when Blood defeated Bullwhip with a DQ after BULLWHIP slammed BLOOD onto the arena floor. – *1/2 – Match Notes: DORADO SUNDOWN were wound up after their month off and perhaps got a bit overzealous when they went after DEFIANCE.
Santon The Loner defeated K.O. Keller with a pinfall after a cross body block from the top rope. – ** 1/2 – Match Notes: SANTON hits a perfect cross body block to pick up the win against KELLER.
- GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH -
THE MENSANS d. PALADIN POWER for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship when Trotarus defeated Solar Flare with a pinfall after a flap jack. – ** – Match Notes: THE MENSANS become the new GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS after working well as a team and dispatching PALADIN POWER!
- GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH -
Torin Caelum defeated Torpor with a pinfall after a cross body block from the top rope. – *** – Match Notes: In the match of his career, to date, TORPOR brings the fight to TORIN CAELUM! Though written off as hardly a competitor, TORPOR surprised a lot of people by taking the match further than anyone expected. TORIN CAELUM proved why he’s champion though and picked up the win to retain his belt.

THE GUARDIANS vs. CROSSCURRENTS
Omega defeated Thetis with a DQ when VORTEX dove off the top turnbuckle injuring OMEGA. – 0 – Match Notes: OMEGA was carried from the ring on a stretcher and MORPHEUS was visibly upset as THE GUARDIANS were in line for a TAG TITLE shot at the next card.
Screw defeated Torpor with a pinfall after a press slam. – * – Match Notes: SCREW picks up a easy win against TORPOR.
K.O. Keller defeated Omega with a forfeit when OMEGA is unable to compete – pinfall. – 0.10 – Match Notes: K.O. KELLER gets the win ad OMEGA is too injured to return to the ring to compete. Word is he’ll miss one card and indeed miss out on the tag team title shot.
Morpheus defeated Commander Sam with a pinfall after TRIP TO HADES. – **1/2 – Match Notes: MORPHEUS takes out his frustration on OMEGA’S injury by completely destroying OMEGA’S friend COMMANDER SAM.
- GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH -
Torin Caelum defeated Santon The Loner with a submission with CAELUM’S GRIP. – *** – Match Notes: SANTON THE LONER puts up a great fight against the champ, but the TORIN gets hits his CAELUM’S GRIP locked on and gets the win.

SUPERNOVA

Ricken Prince defeated Torpor with a pinfall after BOW TO THE PRINCE. – * – Match Notes: And TORPOR finishes the CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS without a singe win as RICKEN PRINCE picks up a much needed victory to boost his final point tally.
Commander Sam defeated K.O. Keller with a pinfall after STAR SPANGLED BANNER. – ***1/2 – Match Notes: Great match! COMMANDER SAM was eager to pick up a win after last month’s trouncing and he does in fine form tonight, taking out one of the top contenders in the GWF.
Santon The Loner defeated Screw with a DQ when SCREW bodyslams SANTON on the arena floor. – DUD – Match Notes: SCREW finishes the CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS with a DQ loss. Still he should be ranked highly when all is said and done.
- GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH -
Torin Caelum defeated Omega with a forfeit when OMEGA is unable to compete – pinfall. – 0 – Match Notes: TORIN CAELUM got his hand raised but took the mic and said that this was not how he wanted to end the CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS. He said that he so looked forward to challenging OMEGA in the final match of the CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS as he knew OMEGA would rise to the occasion and give him the fight of his life.
Just then MORPHEUS came to the ring. He said it’s true that OMEGA’S ‘mistakes’ last month in the tag team match had cost him his shot at the title and with CAELUM getting his hand raised tonight, he’s now officially won the CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS and taken home the prize money. He also gets to hold securely to the GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP knowing that he’s taken on all comers and beaten them. Except he does have one loss on his record. A cowardly loss that, because it was a DQ it allowed him to keep the GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP. A loss against MORPHEUS!
So MORPHEUS proposes, no decrees, that with the CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS over and OMEGA out for the night, as co-owner of the GWF he’s making TORIN CAELUM put the GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP on the line against HIM! NOW!
- GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH -
Morpheus defeated Torin Caelum with a DQ when CAELUM refuses to bring the action back into the ring after it spilled to the outside. – * – Match Notes: TORIN CAELUM took the fight to MORPHEUS, not willing to back down to his insults. He, perhaps, got a bit TOO carried away as when the action spilled outside of the ring, he refused to listen to the ref and got himself disqualified! MORPHEUS was furious and as he left the ringside area, he vowed to CAELUM that the fight was not over!

Commander Sam defeated Torpor with a pinfall after STAR SPANGLED BANNER. – **1/2 – Match Notes: The two foes tear into each other and COMMANDER SAM comes out on top.
K.O. Keller defeated Omega with a DQ when OMEGA whips KELLER into a ringpost. – **1/2 – Match Notes: The returning OMEGA is a ball of fire but takes things too far and gets himself disqualified.
PALADIN POWER d. CROSSCURRENTS when Solar Flare defeated Vortex with a countout when SOLAR FLARE piledrives VORTEX on the arena floor. – * – Match Notes: Good back and forth match until the countout finish.
Screw defeated Santon The Loner with a DQ when SANTON refuses to listen to the refs warnging about brawling. – 1/2 – Match Notes: These two loners tore into each other as if they had something to prove and SCREW picks up the win when SANTON ignores the ref about brawling.

Match Notes: MORPHEUS set out to win this match in the same method that OMEGA won the previous match, but PALADIN POWER ran him ragged and he eventually had to tag in OMEGA. OMEGA tried his best, but he was unable to pull out the win and the former champs, PALADIN POWER, will get a rematch at BIG BANG!

BIG BANG II
From Deimos Intergalactic Arena, Mars
OMEGA is in the ring welcoming the fans to BIG BANG. He talks about how many in the galaxy thought this little experiment would fail, but here the GWF is, still in business over a year later.
He says he has nothing but respect for the GALAXIAN CHAMPION TORIN CAELUM. A man who has defended the belt against everyone in the federation and brought honor and prestige to the title.
He also mentions the very competitive tag team division stating every tag team in the GWF has held the title at one point in the past year making it the most hotly contested title in the galaxy.
Suddenly MORPHEUS entered the ringside are with a mic and told OMEGA to hold on one moment. He says he doesn’t understand why OMEGA would come out here and lie to the fans who’ve supported the GWF since day one. OMEGA asked what he’s lying about and MORPHEUS says that he’s hiding the fact that there’s, in fact, been one tag team that hans’t held the GALAXIAN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP and that is THE GUARDIANS!
He says when the GWF started he knew OMEGA was the right man to trust. The right man to have by his side to take the GWF to glory. But as 2075 has moved on he’s been repeatedly let down by him and now, after a year of only minimal successes, he knows that while OMEGA may have some good business sense, he’s a horrible athlete and a worse tag team partner.
OMEGA tells MORPHEUS to watch it as he’ll glad step in the ring anytime to show MORPHEUS how good an athlete he is. MORPHEUS says he’s glad because he wants that time to be now! OMEGA throws down his mic and takes off his robe and the bell rings! What a start to BIG BANG II!

Match Notes: Good back and forth but MORPHEUS dominated. After the match, MORPHEUS grabbed the mic and told OMEGA he was on his own now as his only quest was to dethrone TORIN CAELUM and capture the GALAXIAN CHAMPIONSHIP.

Screw defeated Santon The Loner with a pinfall after a running power slam

Match Notes: SCREW decimates SANTON in this unusually short match.

Match Notes: Another very fast match as DEFIANCE makes short work of THE MENSANS.

Torpor defeated Commander Sam with an escape after a brutal kick to the head – pinfall

Match Notes: TORPOR pulls off a hug win and beats COMMANDER SAM in the COSMIC CAGE! SAM was knocked for a loop by the kick that left many wondering if perhaps TORPOR had a loaded boot. Never the less, TORPOR picks up a much needed win.

DORADO SUNDOWN vs. PALADIN POWER
for the Galaxian Tag Team Championship
Bullwhip defeated Moonstrike with a countout after a piledriver on the arena floor
Match Rating: 1.00
Match Notes: DORADO SUNDOWN ends the year as tag team champions. BLACKLASH grabbed a mic afterwards and said that DORADO SUNDOWN planned to remain champions and if, in fact, any team was able to beat them cleanly, they’d leave the GWF forever!

for the Galaxian Championship
K.O. Keller defeated Torin Caelum with a DQ when CAELUM slams KELLER into the ringpost
Match Rating: 1.00
Match Notes: A good competitive match. Perhaps too competitive as it saw CAELUM get frustrated as he’s done so many times before and lose his temper and wound up getting disqualified! Many were disappointed that the biggest main event of the year ended in a DQ, but it goes to show anything can happen in the GWF!
