Euritar claims the IP strap and my Vampire sister retains (of course)... The lineup for this year end spectacle continues to impress! Good picks! They feel that because this universe's CROSSFIRE was killed by a Brymstonian, the new CROSSFIRE must suffer the same fate. BURNIN MAN has volunteered to be the one to do the deed. FADE IN
INT. DRESSING ROOM - NIGHTThe camera opens on a small, dimly lit dressing room in a small city on Pleiades. As the scene fades in, it takes a moment to realize that there is a figure sitting at the dressing table. We cannot see his features or any distinguishing attributes other than he is a big, hulking figure. He has a suit jacket on and he wears a top hat. Faintly, we hear the sound of thunderous applause seeping in through the walls and under the door. The figure sits and regards himself in the mirror. It's too dimly lit to see his face.The applause swells as the door suddenly opens and a woman in a flowing gown enters the room. She shuts the door quickly before we can see her face. She clasps her hands together.WOMAN: Three. Three standing ovations!She crosses to behind him. Both their backs to the camera.WOMAN: I told you. I told you you would be a sensation and just listen to that.She is quiet. The sound of the applause is faint but still going strong.WOMAN: The curtain came down fifteen minutes ago and they are still singing your praises.In a quick move, she spins around and sits on his lap. His top hat blocks her face from the camera.WOMAN: Darling, you are a hit! Oh, when you came to me that night I told you to trust me and you did and now here you are, the toast of the town. This is only the beginning. Ooooh, I'm so happy.She kisses his face. She holds his face in her hands and looks into his eyes.WOMAN: You're ready.His form tenses up as he looks at her.WOMAN: After tonight, you are ready. There is no doubt! The transformation is complete.He stands, almost knocking her to the ground he is so excited. INT. DRURY MANOR - DAY
We see SLY DRURY sitting at a desk in his secluded ranch-style home. He pokes at the screen of his tablet computer. His feet up on his desk. He mumbles softly to himself as he works.
CUT TO:
We see a close up of the screen of his tablet. We can see he is thumbing through his mail, responding to some, signing documents with his thumb print where needed. All items seem to pertain to BIG BANG. Comp requests, purchase orders, press pass approvals.
CUT TO:
Back to a wide shot of the room as DRURY works.
Suddenly there is a sound from outside. A soft clunk. Nothing alarming but certainly not a 'natural house settling' type of sound. DRURY looks up from his tablet and cranes his neck back to look out the window behind him as he holds the curtains open with his right hand. He scans his back yard and doesn't see anything. He sniffs sharply and goes back to his work.
The moment he turns his head back to his tablet, a large shadowy figure moves past the window behind him. DRURY continues to work and we see that as he does, the shadowy figure returns and is standing right outside the window. It takes a moment but soon it becomes clear that he is building something, a wall of some sort, that is slowly covering up the window.
The room grows darker as the light from the planet's three suns is slowly obscured by the wall this figure is making. Soon, we can see that the window outside is completely covered.
Fifteen minutes elapse and DRURY finally looks up from the tablet. He realizes how dark it is. He looks at his watch.SLY DRURY: It's only half past the meridian. Why is it so dark?He tosses his tablet on the table and stands from his chair. He pulls the curtains apart sharply and quickly realizes, as we do, that the window has been completely covered by large tree trunks.SLY DRURY: What the f*ck?!He stomps around his desk and out the door of his office. He thunders down the hallway to his front door and, punching in his security code, swings it open. He comes face to face with another wall of tree trunks. He throws his shoulder against one of the trunks but it does not move.VOICE: Oh, yoohooooo! Meesta Drury!!!
SLY DRURY steps back and he realizes that there is a gap between some of the tree trunks and he can see out to his front porch. FALLER stands there, axe in hand, looking very pleased with himself.FALLER: Oh yes, here it is, I can see ya, Meesta Drury! Ya, I wanted to thank you, you know, for the vonderful yob ya do as da commissioner, so I decided that it would be very proper of me to bring ya a big load of da finest quality Hydra Timber so that it'll keep ya varm in the vinter, ya? I didn't know where quite to stack it, so I just stacked it all around yer house, here.
SLY DRURY: Faller! You get this wood out of here right now!
FALLER: What's that Meesta Drury? I cannot hear ya. Yer voice is a vee bit muffled. I vill yust go ahead and assume that yer tanking me for such a vonderful gesture.
SLY DRURY: FALLER! FALLER!DRURY continues to scream as he watches FALLER get into his off road lumber carrying cruiser and drive off. He begins making calls to get someone to help him.
CUT TO:
EXT. DRURY'S HOUSE - DAY
As we see FALLER'S cruiser drive off, the camera pans to reveal that the entire house is surrounded with logs, making any escape impossible.
FADE OUT

DRURY has demanded FALLER face him at BIG BANG, one on one!
FALLER has agreed, not daunted by the fact that DRURY has said, 'If he wants to laugh and joke around, I'll tear every tooth out of his big dumb head! He needs to be punished and I'll see to it that it happens!'
When asked if what he did to SLY DRURY'S house was payback for what happened with FHANNA, FALLER let out a laugh, "No, I yust thought it'd be funny, ya?"
