So, I just got the card and something caught my eye. Maybe somebody has already addressed this. His artwork background has a green maple leaf. When I first looked at it I thought it was a 4 leaf clover and figured he was Irish. Then I really looked at it and thought he's probably a Irish Canadian. Then I look at the card back and he is from St. Louis. So, what's with the green maple leaf?

Got it. Thanks, buddy.
I can't keep track of this stuff anymore. I used to follow the indies pretty closely but now it is pretty much just writeups here and there and whatever makes its way to Youtube.

He's from Vancouver but trains in St. Louis. yeah, Kyle O'Reilly is one of the recent wrestlers along with Davey Richards, Bryan Danielson, and Brian Kendrick from the Pacific Northwest region. I am not sure what Indy fed they have (if any) in the Seattle region, but alot of talent came from that area. I was actually thinking about this last week when I got the new Mid South WWE DVD set that all those guys might have wrestled in PNW if the territories still existed.

The style of some of the guys in ROH is weird to me though. Some seem to try to mimick a MMA type style but it bugs me for some reason. It makes me wonder if guys like this could have fit in with a PNW type of style, which would have also evolved had it survived to this day.
