I haven't check it out on my PS3, but PWinsider reported this a couple weeks ago, so I believe this is true.

Yes, its true. They started with the 13th hat, the show right after the BDK angle began.

So it is broadcasts of existing material, not new shows? Nuts I was so hopeful.
But still, maybe this is good warmup for them to come back to a more aware audience.

Give it a few months, when this whole stupid thing that got old a while back is over they'll come back and they'll put new content on that streaming service. Note that I'm all for long, drawn out angles but the Chikara fan base goes so far into the kayfabeverse that it's impossible to read through all of the shit they post, enjoy the angle and take the fans seriously.

On the other hand, there's something to be said for fans so willing to embrace an angle, a promotion, or an attitude that they willingly and consciously allow their suspension of disbelief to overwhelm the secret inner desire everyone has to be "smart" to such a degree that it turns off people who think OMG WORKRATE!!!!!111one!! is the proper measure of pro wrestling.
If that's how they enjoy themselves, more power to them. Some of us enjoy ourselves rolling a couple dice and playing make-believe with pictures of wrestlers.
Speaking solely for myself, I enjoy wrestling a lot more when I just chill and go with the flow. Sounds like that's what they're doing, and when Chikara does whatever it's going to do, these rabid fans will be there, buying tickets and DVD's. And really, that's what matters, because money made is the proper measure of success in the wrestling industry, not snowflakes on a web page.
Let the people have their fun. If you can't stand it, follow a different promotion. (You, in this case, meant as a general pronoun, not a specific indictment of Switch-Truth.)

I've got no problem with suspending disbelief, I mean none of us do since we're all wrestling fans but these guys are just...you have to read the board to really get why I find it annoying. Speaking solely for myself, I enjoy wrestling a lot more when I just chill and go with the flow. Sounds like that's what they're doing Read Chikara101, the level of which they try to play dumb and act like they don't know certain things is kind of nauseating. I'm all for having fun and being one of those guys who's in on the joke, but those dudes take it WAY too far. Let the people have their fun. If you can't stand it, follow a different promotion. Well, I mean this doesn't really turn me off from Chikara. It's just really annoying to go on the board and try to catch up on the latest and there's a bunch of adults talking like they're ten year old kids on the playground trying to top each others theories as to why Batman Arkham Origins came out after the games it's supposed to precede. (You, in this case, meant as a general pronoun, not a specific indictment of Switch-Truth.) Didn't take it as one.

I personally enjoy all the discussion and conjecture on the Chikara 101 board. To me this storyline is unique, in which the fans have pretty much been invited into the storyline, and many are actively participating, which I think is great. I've always been much more into storylines than the actual wrestling and workrate, so this is right in my wheelhouse.
I do agree its alot to go through if it isn't you main wrestling fan focus. For those on this board hearing that stuff is going on in Chikara, I will be putting up a post soon that will summarize it all and give the important info...so you don't have to go to the 101 board if you don't want to.
As I mentioned before I do think this is something unique and important in the wrestling world, and as many people should know about it as possible. #IamChikara

Re: CHIKARA 101
I think a slight failing with that board is the fact that they don't allow guests to view it.
I know it shouldn't be a big deal but a lot of people (myself included) don't want to navigate to a site and have register or sign in every time they want to casually view it.
Look at this board for instance. Observe how many people are viewing that are signed in compared to how many are visitors. As I write this, 5 members 50 guests.
I'm just saying... You would think if it is one of the main spots Chikara is still disseminating information that it would be more accessible.

I have three memberships over there because I kept forgetting which Ant was in my user name and had to start from scratch.
