I'd rather buy it for a discounted rate in a month or two and pay the $1 for Warrior.
I just saw, though, that they have 100 create-a-wrestler slots. That's pretty awesome!

I'd rather buy it for a discounted rate in a month or two and pay the $1 for Warrior. Very good idea. This way, you're not paying $60 for a potentially glitchy mess and you still get Warrior. Also note that Warrior probably won't be out until late January or so but it doesn't matter, there'll be plenty of CAWs for him that look way better than the in game model. I just saw, though, that they have 100 create-a-wrestler slots. That's pretty awesome! I was happy to see that as well! I was hoping for 100 a lot sooner, especially given that Fire Pro Returns on PS2 had 500 CAW spots and that came out eight (or six in the US) years ago. 100's a hell of a start and with the level of quality people are putting out online with 13, this year's gonna be a LOT of fun if they actually combed through for glitches. |

I usually only get them every other year and having wwe 13, I wasn't going to get it. But Flair is in the game so have to. Preordered last month.

I pre-ordered it yesterday from Amazon. Does anyone else make GWF characters in the CAW to play in universe mode? I made Thunder, Overkill, Rush, Brute, Turmoil and Spike.

I picked up my pre-ordered copy of WWE 2K14 on my way home from work today.
I found out at Best Buy they are giving away a free copy of the recent Rock BLURAY set with the game if you pre-ordered the game through them.
Since I already own it on DVD, if anyone here wants this free BLU-RAY set of "The Epic Journey of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson," let me know and I will send it to you.

I gotta say, the roster and options in this game look fantastic. If I still played video games anymore then I would most certainly get it. Looking forward to some day playing it at someone else's house.  |

Is the gameplay pretty much the same as before? I know this is the first game put out by 2K but if I remember correctly they didn't actually develop the game, just used what was already in development by Yukes. Is that correct?

Gameplay is basically the same as WWE 13. Same development team from Yuke's and Yuke's are being kept around and merged with 2K's Visual Concepts developer, so I don't think we're gonna see a whole lot of change going forward but I'd love to be wrong. |
