Awesome, mid 80s-late 80s NWA/WCW was perhaps my personal overall favorite time in wrestling and I always like getting cards for wrestlers from that period.
Although I have not played LOW for awhile, I plan to resume it at some point and I might team up Spivey with Don Leo Jonathan as an alternative version of the Skyscrapers.

So happy to see Spivey finally in the game. Been a long time since I signed him. Lots of things can be done with him in tag teams, and big men are always fun to have around.

So Waylon Mercy's coming to LOW. I have no problem with that. I might actually push his WM personality and have him join Hillbilly Jim's stable (I'm using HJ's new stable as my own Wyatt family, though I haven't found anyone to be the lead singles star of the team yet).

Very cool seeing Dan Spivey in Legends '13 and I can see him with Steve Williams & Kevin Sullivan as the Varsity Club. Plus, I liked his feud with B.Brian Blair from the Abrams UWF...

Real wcw feel so far. Both 2 Cold and Spivey can both be used in a number of ways. Would love to see an official referee card

I'm really happy with this one. Dan Spivey can be used in a number of different ways as already noted by others.

You can't tell, but this announcement has me doing a happy dance! The art is definitely more Waylon Mercy than "Golden Boy", but I like it. I'll probably add him to Sullivan's stable in my 80's themed fed, though if the card fits with it I might do something crazy like bring him in as a solo face(!). With the three names we now know, Legends 13 is shaping up to be my second favorite set, behind only Rematch (which, having introduced the Midnight Express, can never be topped).

It's actually from his early 90s WCW days
