Championship Wrestling from Vegas
Season 1, Episode 21 on September 11th
Match #1: PPrAy defeated T and T
- PPrAy got the victory when Ray Rosas pinned Ryan Taylor after Smash & Dash.
- to add injury to insult, the end of this match also saw Terex not only fail to make the pin save in time but instead accidentally hit Taylor instead of Rosas with his BIG SPLASH while attempting to make the pin save
- afterward, grabbing his abs in pain, Taylor yelled at Terex as it appears T and T are having issues
Backstage: Grant Baciocco is interviewing Brian Cage by asking him what he thought of the message Natural Selection said they sent to him (Cage) last week in their match against both The Tribe and The Dynasty.
- Cage responds by saying he was not intimidated and will be sending a more direct message to his enemies Natural Selection next week when he has a match scheduled against Mikey O'Shea!
Match #2: James Morgan (managed by Stu Stone) defeated Nick Madrid
- guided by Stone, Morgan won via a deathjump
- afterward, Morgan followed Stone's instructions and gave Madrid further punishment via MORGAN GENUINE DRAFT.
The Office of CWFV Commissioner The Hobo: The Young Bucks ask The Hobo for a title shot against Vegas Tag Team Champions RockNES Monsters since they defeated them in a non-title match last month at Border Wars and the Hobo grants their request.
Match #3: vOodOo kAos defeated Willie Mack
- kAos won via a GONZO BOMB and then afterward spewed some green mist into the face of Mack.
The Office of CWFV Commissioner The Hobo: The Hobo tells his friend and tag team partner Manimal that he (Manimal) will be the new Chief of Staff and from now on will be known as Corporate Manimal.
Match #4: CWFV Commissioner The Hobo (accompanied by Corporate Manimal) defeated The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero
- for The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero's ring entrance, Viva La Raza was played as a spotlight was shown moving toward the ring
- before this match started, The Hobo offered The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero the Code of Vegas by holding out his hand and the Hobo's hand then moved up and down as it appeared The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero accepted the Code of Vegas.
- early in this match, The Hobo used his bite move against The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero and then yelled out "ask him ref" as he reapplied his bite to The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero while leaving the referee holding his hands in the air in confusion because he was not sure how to ask The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero if he wanted to submit.
- despite Hobo's early offensive advantage, The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero was able to make a comeback and at one point had the Hobo face first on the mat with his legs in the air as it appeared The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero was giving the Hobo the Lasso from El Paso. But the Hobo somehow managed to get to the ropes and force a break- but his legs remained crossed until the 4 count as it appeared The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero was maximizing his advantage with the 5 count rule.
- the Hobo got up and started walking forward until his face grimaced and he fell backward as it appeared The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero hit him with a dropkick. Hobo then got up and was bent over and then was brought down to the mat 3 times in a row as The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero apparently hit him with 3 Amigos.
- Hobo was then lying on his back for a few seconds and then his midsection jerked as The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero apparently hit him with his FROG SPLASH. The Hobo. while lying on his back, had his leg hooked to indicate a pin attempt and the referee went to make the 3 count- but the Hobo managed to kick out!
- The Hobo then unhooked his suspenders and "Hoboed Up". Hobo blocked an apparent blow from the Ghost of Eddie Guerrero and then looked like he poked the Ghost of Eddie Guerrero in the eye and then hit him with Flip Flop. Hot Shot, Ralroad Spike, Hobo Train, and finally STREET PREACHER and then layed on the mat apparently to cover The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero as the referee made the 3 count-1, 2, 3!
CWFV Commissioner The Hobo has defeated The Ghost of Eddie Guerrero and thus (based on the deal he made with Vegas Champion Adam Pearce of receiving a title shot if he defeated any former VWE Champion) has earned a title shot against Pearce!
End of Show.
{Promoters Note: I used the original card stats for The Hobo, but I plan to use his new updated card that I got in the mail yesterday for all of his future matches.}
