tonight I watched 2 good hours of wrestling: - the most recent episode of NXT featuring Balor vs Nakamura - the 1st 4 first round matches of the Cruiswerweight Classic (I have avoided all spoilers and so far I am 4-0 in my picks) I too have avoided all spoilers so far, really wish they would have aired the tournament live. But definitely enjoyed what I saw. Looking forward to 9 more weeks of action!

NXT was good and I really liked the start to the CWC, it has that early EVOLVE sport style and seeing these fresh faces is a good thing. Fun stuff for sure...

That really was a great night of wrestling. Balor vs. Nakamura on NXT was awesome, absolutely loved the finish. The CWC is off to a great start and I loved seeing guys I have never seen before like Gran Metalik and HoHo Lun. I too have avoided spoilers and I am glad I did. So much more fun to watch it that way. Credit WWE for doing something out of their box with this tournament.

Today I watched the CWC Bracketology special. perhaps a tournament finals of Zack Sabre Jr. vs Kota Ibushi? That is my guess for the final--which means that most likely will not be the case. Both guys can really work, and bring WWE marketing advantages in the UK and Japan.

My final four pick is Sabre vs. Tozawa and Ibushi vs Swann.

Lately when I have time (10 minutes here, 15 minutes here, etc) I have been watching old (1993) ECW episodes.
Back in the days of WWE 24/7, I saw alot of mid 1990s ECW but I have not seen much of the early days of ECW. Right now, Terry Funk is on commentary and feuding with Eddie Gilbert (who is managing Jimmy Snuka.) The current champion is the Sandman (as a surfer, this is before he starts drinking and smoking in the ring) and the Super Destroyers are the tag teams champions.
