This will be a great weekend going to California! In addition to sitting front row at PWG for the first time in a year, I am staying in California for the entire 3 day holiday (Memorial Day) weekend and going to the next CWFH taping too that Sunday (2 weeks from today!)

PWG announced that unfortunately Andrew Everett is now off of this show due to the knee injury he suffered last weekend and Johnny Gargano is taking his spot in the 6 man tag.
Gargano's original opponent Rocky Romero will now be wrestling Alex Koslov.

I'm currently packing my bags for the weekend and I am taking my Cedric Alexander ROH card and my Chuck Taylor, Trent Baretta, AR Fox, Ricochet, Rich Swann, and Johnny Gargano EVOLVE cards to PWG tomorrow night to hopefully get them signed. And I am also going to take my Matt Striker and The Grappler LOW cards to possibly get signed at CWFH on Sunday. Hopefully I make my flight tomorrow. I get to leave right after my last class ends, however the plane leaves less than 2 hours later and the airport is not close to my work. But with no bags to check into luggage and my boarding pass already printed, I should be OK.

Due to last week being my last full week of work before I administer final exams, I did not get a chance to post this recap earlier.
I caught my plane after work with no problem from Las Vegas and flew into Burbank to get my rental car and drive to the Hojos which I usually stay at when I go to PWG which is about a block and a half away. As I was driving into the parking lot, my best friend in Las Vegas, Ryan, was leaving the hotel to go over to PWG and he saved me a front row seat near him for the show.
At PWG I got these 6 of my color cards signed: Johnny Gargano (EVOLVE,) Chuck Taylor (EVOLVE,) Cedric Alexander (ROH,) Ricochet (EVOLVE,) Trent Baretta (EVOLVE,) and Rich Swann (he actually signed my copy of his card after the show later at the hotel because Swann walked there with me after the show to hang out with Ryan.)
I walked into PWG thinking I wasted $35 because I tried to get a front row seat when tickets first went on sale only to be told my attempted purchase via Pay Pal had timed out. I thought I lost out again on front row and just bought a general admission ticket only to get a message soon later that my original front row ticket purchase actually went through. So I thought I wasted $35 on a general admission ticket I did not actually need. But when I got to PWG they asked me if I needed both tickets. I said no that I bought the extra ticket by mistake and they took care of me. How cool is that?
PWG as usual kicked a*s- there is really no better live experience for wrestling than PWG and that includes ROH and CHIKARA (both of which I have also attended multiple times.) My favorite matches of the night were the opening match of Brian Cage vs Roderick Strong (very intense, Cage got his nose busted open and blood was dripping heavily both on him and on Roderick,) AR Fox vs Rich Swann, and ACH vs Ricochet.
After the show, while walking back to the hotel with both AR Fox and Swann (because both of them are close friends with my friend Ryan- Fox also walked back to the hotel with us too after DDT4 back in January) Fox was yelling to Swann "We killed it tonight!" and Swann responded with "Yeah we did!" So if you like Fox and Swann, and the fact is both of them really liked this match against each other, you really need to check out this show which also includes Kyle O'Reilly winning the PWG World Championship!
The next day I went to Hollywood and went on a tour bus. I got to see the houses where both the original Nightmare on Elm Street and the original Halloween were filmed (they are actually located on the same block about 2-3 houses away from each other.) I also got to go high into the Hollywood Hills and see an awesome view of the downtown Los Angeles landscape. Some of the houses I saw on this tour included homes belonging to Jennifer Lopez, Tom Cruise, Jenifer Aniston (she lives right next door to Cruise in Beverly Hills) Michael Jackson, Jackie Chan, and others. Afterward, I went to the best pizza place in Hollywood and then saw the awesome movie X-Men: Days Of Future Past.
The next day, Sunday, I drove my rental car out to the beach at Port Hueneme for the most recent CWFH tapings. Toasterboy got me into the building before the rest of the crowd which was really cool and I got to talk to David Marquez once again too.
At the CWFH tapings, Toasterboy did his debut on commentary! Although from my seat in the crowd I could not hear the commentary, Toasterboy is awesome and I am sure he did an a great job. Afterward I got to go to dinner with Toasterboy too.
Overall, I had a great 3 day weekend in California and I plan to go back there over the Summer for both PWG and CWFH!
