the entire set is BADASS, from top to bottom. If you're disappointed in the last name, I'm sure you'll get over it. This is one of, if not thee tightest expansion sets to date. We'll go with the latter. I'm a fan of every ROH expansion so far (even Future of Honor, as much of a red headed stepchild of the group as that one is), but this one takes the cake. Not even factoring in the awesome Danielson SE, the six names you get in this set are awesome, the art is some of Werner's best. Especially the last name in the set. Really unique piece of artwork. I think Future of Honor holds it's own as an expansion. I use the ACH & Taven cards quite alot and Whitmer is as close to an ROH legend as you can get. They may not have the "name" value associated with the Legends & Tradition expansion sets, but they definitely serve their purpose in my fed, that's for sure.

Oh, and no ReDragon w/o the Future of Honor expansion, either! Bottom line is EVERY release is unique in it's own way and there's always going to be a card one of us wants to do cartwheels on the lawn over and another one of us might go hmmmphhh I wanted so and so, NOT what's his name over. Regardless, every release is cause for celebration in my world, some more so than others, yes, and Tradition has me doing cartwheels! Another great job by the best gaming company around!

Back to the debate about using the situations charts. I use them religiously and possibly like no other.
If a wrestler has "into the ropes(c)" I'll roll a die. Get "1" and he rolls on the chart, any other result, he rolls down a defence level. This makes those with stronger L2Os more powerful.
Also, if he's on the choices chart, I look at which move will be more successful to pull off, taking into account the opponent's agility & power ratings. I roll a die. "1" means he chooses the harder move, any other result, he chooses the easier move. And I ignore the moves on this chart, simply substituting for a move that wrestler would do.

I like the set, but out of the three ROH sets so far (four I guess if you want to count Tradition), it's my least favorite of the four. Mostly because I had the unenviable task of having to watch a bunch of QT Marshall and TaDarius Thomas matches to stat those cards.

Yeah, you'll never get me to like Thomas or Marshall (shudders, who also wins worst art in ROH as well)
However Whitmer is nice, Taven is decent and the ACH card is good even if the real guy isn't.

However Whitmer is nice, Taven is decent Those are probably the two cards I like the most in the set. and the ACH card is good even if the real guy isn't.I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks he's really not good at all in the ring.

I'll be nice and say it wasn't an oversight...

You mentioned why you liked Future of Honor and I mentioned why I'm not as fond of it as I am the other expansions.

What is the matter with Thomas??? I heard ACH is a bit of a headache in the locker room, but have not heard anything about Thomas.
