This is a bigger clue than I was expecting. I somehow don't think Monolith and Swarm will get together all that swimmingly.

Neither do I, is it possible that Swarm retires? Maybe...or it could be the ultimate Animen super group of Monolith, Swarm, Mantis and Wolf. I will predicate my predictions that I know nothing...Tom will not share and I have not asked for info...so complete speculation here. I think the Three and Endgame stay together but lose control of the rest of Black Death. Shayne and Monolith break off from Power Force. Monolith joins the Animen team laid out above. Shayne takes over the helm of the FDF, with Paganax leaving. Harbinger and Guardian have a team of former Black Death wrestlers. |

So far I agree with your predictions. I think this would be a great spot for Wolf to return, especially now hearing Monolith is finally joining the Animen. I'm curious what happens to rest of the Black Death wrestlers?

This is a bigger clue than I was expecting. I agree...lots more in that than I thought we would be seeing... I was expecting one-liners like: "Monolith, returns to his roots!" Just think of all the speculation that would cause... Not complaining though! |

Another question that stems from this clue: How does UltraMantis Black factor into this new alliance? I'm curious if he ever acquires the Eye of Tyr somewhere down the road of his GWF career.

Sounds like a big Animmen vs. Gladiators feud to me. My guess is that this set will somehow tie into the recent movie pitch and COTGLive event, getting a group of legends/originals like Wolf, Brute, Massacre etc...possibly a new story that opens the door for the recent original 2087 cards to be used, the new COTGLive event cards, both, or new 2130 cards for familiar names. Makes sense to me.
I'd like to see Monolith crush Shayne this year after un-Monolith-like letting this new guy come into his fed and tell him what to do last year.
I retired Swarm in my fed. I think it's a good time for new Animan blood. He had a legendary story, whether Mantis sticks around or not.

Monolith crushing Shayne would do a lot to get him interesting again in my eyes. I've felt like he's been spinning his wheels since he returned in 2126.
