Lots of great action on Evolve 7 and Evolve 8. I like how tight the won-loss records are. Everyone except for poor Biff Busick is doing well. I'm pulling for Chuck Taylor to win some gold in Evolve though he will have to overcome the injury inflicted on him bu Uhaa Nation. Looking forward to the next event.

AR Fox and Uhaa Nation are dominating Evolve, Gargano is shaking up the status quo though.

It was interesting to see that while AR Fox is undefeated in singles and tag team competition, along with being a dual title holder, Johnny Gargano got one over on him in the battle of the champions opener though that had no affect on the won-loss records. I was pulling for Chuck Taylor to take down Fox for the title but it looked like the injury did him in. I like how Jon Davis is moving up the ladder and now has one of the better records in the rankings. Looking forward to Evolve 10. (On a minor unrelated note I just realized that this would be my 3000th post so let us all pause for a brief celebration    ) |

GABE SAPOLSKY: Lenny I have a few updates about the Indy World Challenge, first we will be adding a IWC Tag Team Round Robin Tournament. The winning team will get a chance to win a EVOLVE contract, so for both the singles and tag team portions of the IWC those winners will then have a years time to win three matches in a row. If those winners can't win three in a row, their chances are gone. Lenny I'll let you make the other announcement...LENNY LEONARD: Thanks Gabe, so we know two names that'll be part of the five man IWC FRAY match and they are the "American Wolf" Davey Richards of Ring of Honor and Icarus of CHIKARA. I spoke with Icarus and he told me he wants a EVOLVE contract so he can reunite with his old buddies from F.I.S.T., but my gut feeling and I told Icarus that Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano are on their own paths here in EVOLVE.
