Hope this set is as awesome as it sounds. Of course I wouldn't know, still have not received mine and have to be honest, a little ticked off about it. How are people in California getting stuff quicker??? Do I really need to pay for priority shipping when I live in the same state or should I find a new hobby? Sorry if I come off as whiny, but this has been happening for well over a year and I'm just about done I'm in the same boat as you (well, a different state but same situation). I'm only like two states away and dudes on the other side of the country get their stuff before me. I blame USPS. There's no reason why I should be able to get something mailed to me from Japan quicker than something mailed from two states away. |

I was really surprised to see that my order actually arrived tonight because I at first forgot to place my order until late last Thursday night.
I get my mail delivered here in Las Vegas really late (usually after 5PM.) Perhaps that makes it more likely that I will receive my order that day as compared to if my mail arrived earlier such as in the mornings?

My mail normally comes late in the afternoon. But occasionally a different driver delivers I then I get it around lunch time. I figure mail is sorted in the morning and it's just a matter of when that person goes in to pick their route's mail up and head out.

Count me in the same boat as the rest of the east coast guys. I'm in northern NJ and I never receive my orders early. I didn't pre-order this set as I ordered it about a week and a half ago so I'm willing to wait. However I have pre-ordered many times in the past and find that many receive their orders first. I usually have to wait up to three or five days before mine finally arrives.
I have to put the blame on the USPS. If you live in the same state or a state bordering FGH it is hard to believe that others across the country are getting their orders first so yeah I feel the same pain that Lucifer and others do. Anyway, looking forward to getting this set hopefully sometime this week.

I didn't get this set but I did get COTG2130 on Saturday. I did get the priority mail upgrade. I was surprised though. Usually I get the new stuff in the Wednesday after GCon. I was shocked it was here so fast.

You get your mail earlier on the days your regular carrier is off because 9 times out of 10, the person covering the route tends to not screw off as much as the regular guy does. Trust me, I know ;-) Any other postal myths I can shatter??? |

My mail man is awesome. He stops and chats, he always get out mail to us on time. He has even missed a letter once and came back several miles to get it to us. Very cool guy. But most mailmen down South are pretty cool.
