Started in high school, shortly after I met DiamondOne and with another friend we made EVERYONE from WWF/WCW & ECW (wish I still had all those guys/gals). Been playing on and off since then, which would have been either late 1991 or early 1992. Can't exactly remember when

I once owned one of the very exclusive first print sets. Obviously I was around 11 years old, colored them myself and ruined them. This game is one of my very few, very true loves.

I'm gonna guess it was around the very late 90's that I first ordered COTG. Put the game aside for a few years until my younger son got obsessed with wrestling. I dug it out, played a few games with him & not long after discovered Legends of Wrestling. The rest as they say, is history.

1989... Seems like yesterday. I played a ton back then... I remember my roommate asking me, "Why are you always rolling dice in your room late at night?" I remember Tom sent me a card when I got married, (and asked if Wolf was going to be my best man) I still have the card. A couple of years after I was married, I moved to another state, and drifted away from the game for several years. One day, I just got the urge to break it out again, and I decided to check the internet to see if the company was still around, and I discovered Legends! Only the starter set and Rematch were available, and I ordered right away. I was sucked back in again. I purchased several more COTG sets, but my attention was diverted over to the Legends side of things. And that is what I play exclusively now. Thanks Filsinger Games!

I believe I picked up my first few sets around 2000? Maybe 1999? Didn't actually start playing until a year after I got the cards, wasn't sure if I was going to be into it or not?! But once I played it a few times, I was hooked. Best wrestling game out there, and I have looked long and hard to find one.

Originally started playing COTG way back in 1987... Continued religiously for approximately 2-3 years (and when I say religiously, I mean I had my own sanctuary devoted to the worship of the GWF). Unfortunately, other things took over my interest and it was only a couple months ago that I rediscovered my passion when I did a GOOGLE search to see what had become of that 'cool little wrestling card game'.
Now I'm playing the online version every bit as religiously as I ever did back in the day.
