Matt Morgan tonight you get to show me if you are worth it or not, cause as everyone knows since the beginning of your career I have been a huge backer of yours..but recently all I have seen lately is injury after injury, excuse after excuse and I know you have been bitching and moaning ever since WARGAMES at WRESTLEFEST and me making a business decison and replacing you at the last moment with VADER...well tonight you get want you want...
Vader and Meng it looks as though you want to continue your fighting skills against each since your match in HEARTLAND well I got no problem with that so tonight it will be a TRIPLE THREAT match between Vader vs. Meng vs. Morgan...so me something boys" INTERNATIONAL TAG TEAM MATCH
IRISH AIRBORNE w/ MELINA defeated FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE w/ GEORGE HACKENSCHMIDT
"Solid tag action, the new Russian team of Koslov and Volkoff took it to the Airborne early after Volkoff connected with a tremendous shoulder block to set up a Solveit Strike by Koslov who could not get the 3 count on Dave Crist.
Jake Crist got the victory for his team after a swinging ddt off the turnbuckle spiking Koslov square on his head for the 3 count."
ANGELINA LOVE IS SHOWN IN THE BACK TALKING ON HER CELL PHONE...

CAME DOWN TO RINGSIDE WITH MICROPHONE IN HAND..."Ladies and Gentlemen of the great state of Michigan, I promise I will not take up to much of your time. KURT ANGLE GETS INTO THE RING AND GOES FACE TO FACE WITH BOBO BRAZIL AS SECURITY COMES IN AND SEPARATE THE TWO BEFORE ANY PUNCHES ARE THROWN*
TRIPLE THREAT CHALLENGE MATCH
VADER defeated MATT MORGAN and MENG
"In one of the most hard hitting matches in the short history of Tradition despite what looked like receiving a broken, bloody nose and a black eye Vader was able to get the victory after delivering a Vader Bomb to Matt Morgan on the concrete floor outside the ring!. After that devastating move on the outside Vader rolled Morgan back in the ring to get the cover and victory.
"Meng however earlier in the match caught Vader square in the face with a super kick followed by his Tonga death grip but Morgan caught Meng with a thunderous boot to the head nearly taking it off. Morgan even though with a slight limp throughout the match took Vader to the limit with body punches and a tremendous dropkick from the top rope which caught Vader flush..Meng charged at Morgan but Morgan caught him and with Meng's momentum threw him over the top rope head first into the table at ringside." SPECIAL GRUDGE MATCH RICKY LANDELL defeated STEVE CORINO
"During this match Landell made it clear he was going to get his revenge on his mentor for turning on him and putting him on the shelf for months and nearly ending his career.
In one of the biggest upsets in Tradition history Landell did get his revenge as he was able to pin Corino after a bloody 15 minute war to get his hand raised in victory. The two stood nose to nose to start the match and exchanged palm strikes back and forth for several minutes..Landell was the first to taste his own blood as Corino to no one's surprise took it outside the square circle and connected with vicious chair shots to the head and face of Landell. The young up start however with stood the stiff shots and delivered a low blow followed by high knees to the chin and face of the King of Old school.
The referee knowing the personal issues between these two let them fight it out and was not going to call for a DQ or count out unless there was no other choice and was the last resort.
Landell and Corino went at it for over 12 minutes beating the hell out of each other with weapons, stiff shots and high impact offense..Landell suddenly caught Corino coming into the ring with a super kick square on the jaw, knocking him out cold for the 3 count!"
*AFTER THE MATCH THE TRADITION CHAMPION: TEKESHI MORISHIMA CAME DOWN TO RINGSIDE AND APPLAUDED LANDELL WITH HIS VICTORY...LANDELL SIMPLY SMIRKED AND FLIPPED OFF THE CHAMPION WALKED RIGHT BY HIM TO THE BACK...WHEN SUDDENLY DOUG FURNAS CAME OUT OF THE CROWD AND CAUGHT MORISHIMA WITH A LARIAT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD!

EAST LANSING, MI 4 CORNER SCRAMBLE SPECIAL ATTRACTION MATCH VADER defeated BISON SMITH and KENTA and ALEX KOSLOV
"An incredible opening match, KENTA came into this match with a knee injury thanks in large part to the attacks rendered by "WITH RUSSIA FROM LOVE" from the past few shows.That did not stop the NOAH star from attacking Koslov, the two international wrestlers went at each other for most of this match up...connecting with stiff shots back and forth which included a hellish kicking contest, both men trading blows for nearly 5 minutes not letting the other show any weakness, Until finally KENTA with a swift kick to the head finally got Koslov down.
As that was going on the battle between Bison Smith and Vader was just as physical, these two mountains eyed one another and traded blows from the get go. Vader got the upper hand early with a splash in the corner but Bison came back with a thunderous lariat almost taking Vader's head off his shoulders...Smith then was able to get the big masked man up and power slam him..Vader how ever kicked out and delivered a low blow to Smith which bent him over in pain.
KENTA seeing this charged Bison stepped on his back and propelled off with a flying knee to the face of Vader who looked as though to be out cold.
Koslov came up and connected with a Solviet Strike to Bison Smith knocking him into the corner...Koslov however when charging Smith in the corner got caught with a right hand square knocking him out of the ring! KENTA then got Smith with a elbow to the face in the corner...Vader back on his feet charged the corner KENTA moved but Bison did not who got crushed in the corner.
Vader aggravated continued to splash Smith in the corner...Bison took the punishment and fought back with stiff right hands to the face blooding the mouth of the masked man. Vader however got the best of Bison when he delivered a shoulder block off the ropes then picked up Bison and slammed him through out of the ring threw a table at ringside!
Koslov got back in the ring and came off the top rop with an ax handle but got caught by KENTA with a kick to the face...Vader without warning hit KENTA in the back of the head with a lariat then power bombed KENTA and pinned him for the three count for the very hard fought victory!"
*AFTER THE MATCH VADER TOOK THE MICROPHONE;*
VADER: "WHAT TIME IS IT...THAT'S RIGHT VADER TIME!!!....Cornette you ain't nothing boy...that's right you heard me, I used you and now I am throwing you out with this garbage..you expect me to sit around here and take orders from those 3 bimbo's! I came from Heartland were I had to deal with that Velvet Sky broad, now granted she ain't to shabby to look at and she enjoyed the one on one VADER TIME but if you think I am going to take you or this promotion seriously with who you got in charge here you got another thing coming punk!"
*VADER SCREAMS AT THE RINGSIDE ATTENDANT TO GIVE HIM THE PAPER WORK WHICH HE DOES THEN VADER SAYS SCREW JIM CORNETTE AND SCREW TRADITION AND RIPS HIS CONTRACT IN HALF SPITS ON IT AND WALKS OUT OF THE BUILDING!* TRADITION YOUNG LIONS CHAMPIONSHIP (C) "FALLEN ANGEL" CHRISTOPHER DANIELS w/ SHELLY MARTINEZ defeated RICKY LANDELL "Daniels was amazed he had to put the title on the line against Landell, citing that he has not beaten anyone to deserve the title shot, however because of Landell's victory over Steve Corino last night he get's the shot, Daniels again states that he has not beaten ANYONE but the match is on.
Landell held his own against the champ going on the early offense with clotheslines and a flying dropkick off the top rope. Daniels with a stoic Martinez hugging the ringside post outside the ring looking on in some sort of trance got back on the offense with a running elbow followed by the his BME for the three count!" *AFTER THE MATCH STEVE CORINO CAME DOWN TO RINGSIDE WITH A HAND FULL OF BARBED WIRE AND AS DANIELS LOOKED ON..CORINO DUG THE WIRE INTO THE FACE AND FOREHEAD OF THE DOWNED LANDELL!
SECURITY CAME RUSHING DOWN AS CORINO CONTINUED TO DIG INTO THE FLESH OF LANDELL SCREAMING AT HIM AND SPITTING ON HIM...SECURITY FINALLY WAS ABLE TO PULL HIM AWAY..AND ATTEND TO THE BLOODY MESS THAT IS LANDELL. CORINO WITH LANDELL'S BLOOD ALL OVER HIS TAPED HANDS LOOKED AT DANIELS AND SAID WHO IS A NOBODY NOW..SMILED AND LEFT THE BUILDING* PACIFIC NORTHWEST WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP (C) KURT ANGLEdefeated BOBO BRAZIL
"Despite the ruling put down that the 6 men that qualified for the "TESTING YOUR LIMITS" show on December 5th 2009 shall not wrestle, before that time not wanting any of the combatants to get injured for the historic event Angle did except Brazil's challenge and some how it was approved so the match was on"
And what a match it was, for nearly 25 minutes these two went at it with great wrestling. Bobo got out early and was able to over power Angle and eventually connect with his Coco Butt finisher but credit to the Champion who kicked out, but Brazil did not led up..after a thunderous forearm to the face busting Angles nose open Brazil connected with a clothesline and had Kurt in a choke submission hold right around his neck!
Angle was barely able to reach the ropes and the ref had to break the hold but again Brazil continued his assault...as he went charging into the corner Angle moved and Brazil went crashing into the turnbuckle then right into the Angle slam but Brazil kicked out of the pin attempt...Angle then took Brazil down to the mat with his ameature back ground and hooked on the Ankle Lock and after several minutes in the hold..and almost breaking out of the hold Brazil had no choice but to tap out!"
*AFTER THE MATCH AS BOTH MEN LAID EXHAUSTED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING THE CROWD GAVE THEM BOTH A STANDING OVATION*
TRADITION CHAMPIONSHIP (C) TEKESHI MORISHIMA defeated DOUG FURNAS "A great match to end the night, Furnas was granted this title match after pinning the Champion in a tag team match at "AFTER THE FACT" and Furnas gave everything and more for Morishima to handle.
Furnas with a tremendous dragon leg whip took the big man down to the mat to start the match...Furnas punished the leg of Morishima for the first portion of the match...with the strategy of keeping the NOAH star off his feet....at one point Furnas got him in the figure four for several minutes..but Morishima reached the ropes to break the hold...Morishima was getting very aggravated and finally connected with a open palm strike to the face of Furnas.
Furnas and Morishima who was back on his feet traded palm strikes in the middlle of the ring with Tekeshi finally getting the upper hand..Furnas looked out on his feet when the champ went for a lariat..Furnas ducked got behind Morishima and delivered a devastating German suplex planting Morishima head first on the mat ...Morishima barely kicked out and the crowd of about 300 people chanted that was 3..that was three...Furnas then went again for the figure four and applied it once again...Morishima was able to reverse the hold then eventually broke it, both men nose to nose slowly got up to there feet chopping each other in the chest were out of no where Morishima connected with a standing lariat followed by not one but two consecutive SIATO SUPLEXES to get the three count and retain the title to end the show." -END Tradition show #30 -END |

EAST LANSING, MI TRADITION WOULD LIKE TO THANK FAITH NO MORE FOR THE THEME OF THIS HISTORIC EVENT.....
MEMBER SO CAL VAL THE CEO OF TRADITION WELCOMES EVERYONE TO THIS VERY SPECIAL EVENT TONIGHT.... VAL: "Ladies and gentlemen first off I would like to say it is good to be back here at CRUNCHIES, I have been out promoting TRADITION all over the world and trust me when I tell you we have some huge announcements involving this promotion in the near future so stay tuned for that....
Until then we have a very special event here tonight that will set the standard for what PRO WRESTLING is all about...welcome to the 1st annual "TESTING YOUR LIMITS" event!
The night will begin with 3 singles matches each having a 20 minute time limit after the 20 minutes have expired the wrestler with the most pin falls will be declared the winner of the match....if there should be no pin falls or submissions within the 20 minute time frame then there will be sudden death where the first person to score a fall is declared the winner!
Now the three winners of there respected singles matches will then face each other in a triple threat elimination match in the Main Event...and the winner of that will have not only tested his limits but will receive a TRADITION championship...date TBD
I want to wish the six that qualified for this event at "PROVING GROUND" the best of luck here tonight!" MATCH 1 "THE AMERICAN DRAGON" BRYAN DANIELSON vs. DAN "THE BEAST" SEVERN "These two began the match going straight to the ground game, Danielson got the upper hand early on the mat with a head lock and knee strikes to the head of the UFC legend. American Dragon continued to work on the head of Severn with forearm shots as well.
Dragon took Severn back to a standing position and connected with a thunderous palm strike and a flying knee to the face coming off the ropes...Severn bleeding from under his right eye fought back and reversed a waist lock and turned Dragon inside out with a German Suplex dumping him right on his head, then following it up with a vicious uppercut rocking the jaw of the former ROH champion.
Dragon went for it with another flying knee attempt but missed and Severn went in for the kill with a guillotine choke and 11:23 into the match got Dragon to tap to take the fall.
Severn kept the pressure on taking Danielson back down to the mat but Dragon reversed an arm bar and connected with a vicious elbow strike to the top of the head of Severn..Dragon to continue with the elbow strikes until Severn escaped and got back to his feet and caught Bryan with a tremendous forearm...followed by a clothesline knocking him back onto the mat...American Dragon however suddenly tripped Severn down and hooked in an ankle lock submission which soon led into cattle mutilation and after several minutes the former NWA champion had no choice but to tap out at 15:16 tieing the match at one fall a piece!
After the fall Danielson looked to put Severn away with the same submission however Severn blocked the attempt got back to the standing position and backed dropped Danielson who was coming off the ropes out to the concrete floor!
Severn after a few stiff punches to the face of Danielson got him back in the ring and attempted to apply his WIKITAGAME finisher but Danielson blocked the attempt with a small package pin to get the three count @ 18:34 of the match and was able to hang onto the victory as the 20 minute limit approached to advance to the finals." *AFTER THE MATCH BOTH MEN SHOOK HANDS AS SEVERN RAISED THE HAND OF BRYAN DANIELSON TO A STANDING OVATION FROM THE CROWD*
WINNER:  "AMERICAN DRAGON" BRYAN DANIELSONMATCH 2 THE GREAT MUTA vs KURT ANGLE
*THE ENTIRE PNW ROSTER CAME OUT TO RINGSIDE AND SURROUNDED THE RING TO GIVE SUPPORT TO KURT ANGLE THE PNW CHAMPION*
"Perhaps the greatest PURE wrestling match in TRADITION history...so many near falls for both tremendous wrestlers great back and forth action having the fans on their feet for the entire match.
The PNW Champion thought he had Muta down for the three count after his Angle slam @ 12:46 of the match but Muta kicked out..at the same token Muta thought he had the match won after his hand spring elbow connected @ 17: 19 of the contest.
Both men exhausted neither giving up a fall to that point...when Angle for a moment thought he had his ankle lock applied when Muta was able to kick out of right before Angle had it chined in tight..Muta pushed Angle off into the turn buckle then spun him around and spiked him the a DDT right on his head knocking him out to get the 3 count @ 19:21 of the match and advance to the finals!"
*AFTER THE MATCH MUTA HELPED ANGLE TO HIS FEET, THE BOTH EMBRACED AND ANGLE RAISED THE HAND OF THE VICTORIOUS GREAT MUTA* WINNER:  GREAT MUTAMATCH 3 MISUHARU MISAWA vs TYLER BLACK
"Great fast paced action to start out the match which saw the young up start Black get the upper hand with a tremendous spinning neck breaker from the second rope then delivering God's Last Gift @ 10:33 of the match to get what many believe a surprise 1-0 lead.
The LEGEND Misawa however would not be denied in this match and got the match tied up after a thunderous lariat turning Black inside out then connecting with a roaring elbow not once but twice knocking Tyler out cold to get the three count which tied the match at 1 a piece @ 15: 47.
Black collected his thoughts and quickly got back on the offense with stiff kicks to the face of Misawa and once again connected with God's Last Gift this time Misawa kicked out...but Tyler kept on the offense and went for it all with his Phoenix Splash and missed...Misawa connected with a devastating running knee to get the pin @ 17:19..Black was out on his feet for the rest of the match..he did give his all when he got into a palm strike battle with Misawa for over a minute they went back and fourth with vicious shots...until Black fell victim to the pin after one of the shots by Misawa @ 19:43 of the match"
*AFTER THE MATCH MISAWA HELPED TYLER BLACK BACK TO HIS FEET AND EVEN THOUGH MISAWA WON THE MATCH HE ACTUALLY RAISED THE HAND OF BLACK IN THE ULTIMATE SHOW OF RESPECT.*
WINNER: MISAWA  COMING JANUARY 2010MAIN EVENT:
TESTING YOUR LIMITS TRIPLE THREAT ELIMINATION FINALS "An historic event for Tradition comes to a grand end with just a fabulous match from beginning to end. All three men shake hands with each other before the bell rings.
Bryan Danielson was the first to be eliminated at the 11:45 mark of the match thanks to a kick to the side of the head by Muta followed by a roaring elbow by Misawa.
Misawa and Muta went back and forth for about the next 15 minutes of the match laying everything on the line not holding back on bit on one another...Muta hit his hand spring elbow but Misawa caught Muta with a lariat knocking his head almost off his shoulders and getting the three count for the tremendous victory @21:15 of the match" WINNER: MISAWA
*AFTER THE MATCH STREAMERS FELL FROM THE CEILING AS THE ENTIRE LOCKER ROOM OF TRADITION TALENT AS WELL AS PNW FLOODED THE RING TO CONGRATULATE MISAWA IN VICTORY...SO CAL VAL PRESENTED MISAWA WITH A TROPHY AND RAISED HIS HAND IN VICTORY, AS THE CELEBRATION CONTINUED.*

"The PNW Champion gets the victory over the TRADITION champion, after both brawled outside the ring and Angle delivered an Olympic Slam on the concrete knocking out Morishima who landed back of the head first on the concrete and could not get back in the ring before the 20 count."
THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS defeated CHONO/TENZAN
"The feud between these two teams continues, the Tradition Tag Team Champs get the W when Lane nailed Chono with a super kick"
THE SHOW OPENS WITH.....
THE CEO OF TRADITION AND 1/3 OF ANOTHER NAUGHTY THREESOME; SOCAL VAL IN THE RING WITH MICROPHONE IN HAND.... "Gentlemen and especially the LADIES welcome to this very special event here tonight...I am so proud to be apart of this tonight...women wrestling has come so far over the years and tonight it's all about what the ladies can do in this ring...with TRADITIONS first annual "LADIES NIGHT" event!.
We are going to continue what HEARTLAND had just a few night's ago with a main event in their biggest event of their promotion HEARTLAND HAVOC with the crowning of their very first women champion, as many of you know I have had my problems with Heartland in the past but props go out to that whole organization for a great event for women WRESTLING
Here tonight we will take that a step further...everyone please get on your feet and welcome our very special guest here tonight...perhaps the greatest female wrestler of all time the one and only....."

A STANDING OVATION WAS GIVEN BY THE CROWD FOR SEVERAL MINUTES FOR A TRUE WRESTLING LEGEND MOOLAH: "It is such an honor to be here tonight thank you very much, an event like this well let's just say it's been a long time coming...I would like to thank..."
SUDDENLY MOOLAH IS CUT OFF BY....
 AND PENNY BANNER AND IDA MAE MARTINEZ OF HEART OF AMERICA COME DOWN TO THE RING EMBRACE MOOLAH AND SCOFF AT VAL...PENNY SNATCHES THE MICROPHONE FROM VAL "First off let me just say what a true honor it is myself and Ida to be standing in the ring with a true legend, and more importantly someone who understands the true values of women WRESTLING, unlike this red headed floozy who pretends to run this joint with her pathetic little threesome...who everyone knows they fall right into thee same stereo typical rational but they seem to enjoy it..and that is just being here because of there tits and ass!
It's women like you Val that send us back to the stone age...it's tramps like you that keep the REAL ladies of wrestling down...you should be ashamed...true legends like myself and Ida and most certainly Moolah have been fighting this stereo type for years. I will tell you..."
MOOLAH SUDDENLY SNATCHES THE MICROPHONE FROM PENNY..."Now hold on their just a minute, I grant you women in pro wrestling have had to go threw and still do a lot of hardships to be taken seriously in this business..but honey times have changed and with events like what HEARTLAND put on and this event tonight, I am proud to be apart of this generations movement...and I must say how dare you bad mouth VAL, I mean Mr. Bennett gave her thr rights to run this company and that would have never have even been a thought back when I wrestled my dear...so in other words way don"t you back off!
If I may Val...Penny I heard that you were coming to this event and I know you have been bad mouthing another young lady that is in management in this company...well tonight you and Ida seem to be in a fighting mood so let me introduce you to your opponents tonight!" SUDDENLY...... THE CROWD ERUPTS IN CHEERS AS ANGELINA LOVE AND HEARTLAND'S VELVET SKY ARE ONCE AGAIN REUNITED!THE TWO TEAMS STAND FACE TO FACE IN THE CENTER OF THE RING AS SECURITY SURROUNDS THEM AND SLOWLY SEPARATES THEM...VELVET AND ANGELINA GIVE BOTH VELVET AND MOOLAH A HUG BEFORE THEY HEAD BACK TO THE LOCKER ROOM. MELINA vs. DAIZEE HAZE battle to a 15 minute draw "Great inter- promotional contest to open the show as both ladies shook hands in a show of respect to start the match.
Both ladies were very evenly matched and both showed their great wrestling skill with high risk and mat wrestling...Melina missed a dropkick from the top rope and Haze snapped off a tremendous DDT but could not put her away..Daizee then locked in a figure four leg lock and thought she had the match won when the bell sounded...however Melina did not quite as the time limit had expired. After the match the crowd of about 500 people chanted 5 more minutes as the two shook hands again after the match" SUDDENLY....TRACI BROOKS TO THE DELIGHT OF THE CROWD MAKES HER WAY INTO THE RING!"Damn it feels good to be back especially at this historic event here tonight...it gets me in the mood to do something a little historic myself..THE LIGHTS SUDDENLY GO OUT FOR SEVERAL MINUTES IN THE BUILDING WHEN THEY COME BACK ON... " Let me start off tonight, by addressing some rumors that have surfaced these past couple of days involving this promotion...FIRST and for most let me tell everyone listening that Rob Bennett is back in charge of TRADITION after consulting with his family and friends despite the difficulties that he is facing right now involving his family, he is back and ready for this promotion to push forward.
A personal Thank You goes out to Mike who helped out for Rob and we hope to see his own promotion up and running soon in the FLW.
SECOND despite what you might of heard through out these past several months... TRADITION will not be combining with other feds in the FLW we will of course still work closely with all feds in the FLW some more so then others but as far as a total combination of feds TRADITION has decided to stand alone as of the fore see able future....but let me make it clear anything can happen.
THIRD to all the talent here in TRADITION there will and is going to be massive change and it begins here tonight........

ROUND 2 THE ROAD WARRIORS defeated TRADITION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: THE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS "The history of these two teams is well documented in the annals of wrestling history..well you can now add this to that long list..for over 20 minutes these two rivals went at each other to the nail. Both teams kicking out of the others several pin attempts including their finishers.
Jim Cornette back to his old self tried to interfere after both Dennis Condry and Steve Kiern were escorted out of the building by security...Animal however delivered a shoulder block to Cornette who was up on the ring apron..the force of the blow through Cornette off and crashing down to the concrete floor outside the ring...hitting the back of his head flush against the guard rail knocking him out!

DAN SEVERN defeated ANDRE THE GIANT via count out
"This match came to a head after some build up during the last couple of TRADITION shows...Andre came in and dominated right away with stiff chops to Severn and punches...Severn tried to take down the big man on the mat but the sure mass of the Giant was to much.Andre smashed Severn in the corner with a splash, and went for another one in the corner but Severn got his wits about him and moved and was able to toss Andre because of the big man's momentum over the rope to the concrete floor...this is were the match turned drastically...The two went back and forth with punches...Andre got the advantage and had Severn backed up against the metal ring post...but Severn moved as Andre went to deliver another punch to the face and Andre's hand struck flush with the ring post!...Severn then grabbed the back of Andre's head and slammed him forehead first into the steel post three times busting the Giant open!!!
Severn then hearing the referee's count got into the ring right before the 20 count as Andre was dazed and did not get back in the ring in time before the 20 count!

EAST LANSING, MI THIS HISTORIC SHOW OPENS WITH...... CEO OF TRADITION SOCAL VAL IN THE RING WITH MICROPHONE IN HAND.. "Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the 2nd annual SWEET SCIENCE 16 Tournament. I want to thank all the FLW promoters who are all here tonight for helping make this historic event possible and wish all the athletes in this event the best of luck. As of a new TRADITION to kick off this event every year...the two participants that made the finals last year will face each other in the opening match in the first round."
WITH THAT..... 1ST ROUND KURT ANGLE VS. RIC FLAIR
"These two legends exceeded all expectations in this match, picking right off were they ended during last years event....
The PNW Champion Kurt Angle despite a hellish battle with Buzz Sawyer on the return card of Pacific Northwest Wrestling took it to Flair right off the start with tremendous mat wrestling, frustrating the Nature Boy to the point that Flair left the ring to collect his thoughts and talk with the referee.
The defending Champion of this event, got back in the ring after several minutes and tried a test of strength with Angle..which the gold medalist got the upper hand and took Flair down to the mat and hooked on a head lock...Flair took Angle to the ropes and delivered a Harley Race high knee followed by several thunderous chops...this match continued back and fourth with both legends not letting the other get full control of the match.
Angle after several minutes of ground and pound on Flair busting him open hooked his Ankle Lock finisher in...but Flair was able to kick Kurt off before it was fully applied...and after a low blow by Flair he hooked in the figure four...after several minutes in the hold Angle would not tap...and instead of reaching for the ropes he reversed the hold on Flair who was screaming in pain!
Suddenly the bell rang...did Flair give up?...the referee went over to the time keeper who informed him that the 30 minute time limit had expired!...both men have been eliminated from the tournament!"
*AFTER THE MATCH, AS BOTH MAN STOOD FACE TO FACE, BOTH EXHAUSTED FANS CHANTED 5 MORE MINUTES..FIVE MORE MINUTES!*
DAVID VON ERIC VS. BRET HART
"Two men who are apart of perhaps the two greatest pro wrestling families of all time, shook hands in a great show of respect as the bell sounded to start the match.
This match was very high paced with great counter wrestling by the other, the action actually spilled out on the floor...Bret seemed to have the upper hand when suddenly he was distracted by....
LACEY VON ERIC
who was screaming at Hart to just end the match and stop punishing David who was busted wide open earlier while being rammed into the steel post...Bret told the referee to get Lacey back which he did and as Bret threw David back into the ring David applied the famous Von Eric claw hold! with blood pouring down his face David wrenched tighter and tighter to Bret"s head and face.
The blood loss was to great for David as he could not put as much power into the hold as he wanted Bret was able to get out of the hold and slap a figure four on Von Eric who passed out to the pain after several minutes."
JOHN PESEK VS. KEN SHAMROCK
"Suburb pure wrestling match that saw Shamrock catch Pesek early with a vicious palm strike right above his left eye followed by a single leg take down into an STF...Pesek rolled through the move and caught the MMA fighter with a body triangle cross face in the center of the ring..after a few minutes Shamrock tapped!"
*AFTER THE MATCH A VERY DISAPPOINTED SHAMROCK SHOOK THE HAND OF PESEK IN GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP BUT LEFT THE RING VERY DEJECTED* ED STRANGLER LEWIS VS. NICK BOCKWINKLE
"Back and Fourth action between these two throughout...Lewis several times had Bockwinkel in trouble with his STRANGLER HEADLOCK...the former AWA champion however countered the hold with a back suplex landing the Strangler right on the back of his neck and head. Bockwinkel then capitalized with a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK for the hard fought victory." GREAT GAMA VS DAN THE BEAST SEVERN
"Gama came into this event after a rare loss at the FLW Pay-Per-View against Tekeshi Morishimma...and Dan Severn came very close on several occasions to putting Gama away for his second straight defeat with his WAKIGATAME...Gama however survived a turned the tide quickly with a palm stike to the face followed by a deadly quarter nelson to make the UFC legend Severn tap." BRUNO SAMMARTINO VS. STING
"The crowd was on it's feet for the entire match...as both men shook hands before the match..which saw the newly crowned FLW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION; Bruno Sammartino take to the offense early power forearms to the face and head of Sting who responded after several minutes on the defense with his splash in the corner of Bruno missed a shoulder smash...Sting then turned Sammartino over and applied his Scorpion Death Lock! Bruno amazingly however was able to break out of the hold...Sting was in absolute shock who got a vicious kick to the stomach then a thunderous back breaker and finally had to tap to the FLW Champions Boston Crab!" MASKED SUPER STAR VS. NIGEL MCGUNNISE
"A very hard hitting match, which saw the masked man get off to a quick start connecting with a vicious clothesline and head butt busting Nigel open. The Heartland legend however took it to another gear when he connected w ith a lariat coming out of the corner right into the London Dungeon to make the Masked Super Star tap!" DR SAM SHEPARD VS. THE DESTROYER
"The Destroyer had control of this match really from the start although Shepard did connect with a big time pile driver but never was able to get his claw hold applied. The masked legend took it to the mat and took out Shepard with his single leg Boston Crab." 2ND ROUND
*BECAUSE OF THE TIME LIMIT DRAW BETWEEN KURT ANGLE AND RIC FLAIR...BRET HART RECEIVES A BYE INTO THE NEXT ROUND* NICK BOCKWINKEL defeated JOHN PESEK "An absolute great pure wrestling contest, which saw Pesek come out like a house of fire with a waist lock slam right into the Tiger Man Toe hold!...Bockwinkel reached the ropes for the break but still got caught with a forearm, right back to the toe hold!
Once again Bockwinkel made it to the ropes to make the ref break the hold..Nick caught Pesek with a quick kick to the ribs...and nearly got DQ'ed for choking out Pesek with the ropes...Bockwinkel continued his assualt with a tremendous pile driver followed up by his Figure Four Leg Lock to get the hard earned victory" THE GREAT GAMA and BRUNO SAMMARTINO DOUBLE COUNT OUT "By far the most physical match of the night, haymakers by both men landing...Bruno after several minutes of either man gaining a big advantage over the other connected with a tremendous shoulder breaker and actually got Gama up for the Bear Hug!...Gama struggling to break the hold stepped back and both men fell to the outside of the ring!
Gama gathered his thoughts and applied a half nelson to the World Champion...really clamping down on the hold not listening to the referees count to 20 inside the ring! the Ref called for the bell as both men were counted out! Gama and Sammartino had to be pulled off of each other by several members of security after the match!" NIGEL MCGUINESS defeated THE DESTROYER "This match now because of the double count out between Gama and Sammartino took on even more importance as the winner would be in the finals of this tournament!
The Young Lion of Heartland Nigel McGuiness really showed his merit in this match as several time the much more seasoned pro took him down to the mat several times with several moves including what many believe to be the the match winner the single leg Boston Crab but Nigel rolled threw the move, got up and just leveled the masked man with a hellish Lariat coming off the ropes knocking him out cold! Nigel then once again applied the London Dungeon and the ref had no chioce but to call for the bell as the masked man's hand dropped down 3 consecutive times!" 3RD ROUND MATCH BRET HART defeated NICK BOCKWINKEL "With everyone still a buzz about the upstart Nigel McGuinness making an unbelievable run to the finals of the tournament...this match quite possibly could be argued the match of the night and perhaps in TRADITION'S young history.
This match went for over 25 minutes with back and fourth action...both legends not giving in to the other man's sub misson hold....Bockwinkel had control of the match after a his picture perfect pile driver...but then he uncharactristically went to the top rope and dove off and missed a smashing knee drop...Bret then seeing the opening applied the figure four to Bockwinkel around thee ring post!
The referee was up to a 4 count and looked as though he was going to ask for the bell and Bret would have been disqualified however right before the ref was going to ask for a DQ Bockwinkel screamed I quite and tapped out!" FINALS NIGEL MCGUINNESE DEFEATED BRET HART
"In what many people believe a huge upset, Nigel McGuinness has the wrestling career of his life in just one night...being able to withstand Bret Hart for nearly 20 minutes...not tapping to the sharp shooter...not tapping to the figure four leg lock...dishing out Lariat after Lariat..being able to knock the HITMAN out with the tower of London and getting the victory of his life after Bret passed out in the center of the ring to his LONDON DUNGEON!" AFTER THE MATCH...BRET HART EMBRACED NIGEL MCGUINNESS IN A SHOW OF GREAT SPORTSMANSHIP...AS CONFETTI FELL FROM THE CEILING THE PROMOTERS OF THE FLW CAME INTO THE RING AND GAVE THEIR CONGRATS TO MCGUINNESS INCLUDING HEARTLAND'S TRIO.. VAL WITH A CONFUSED LOOK ON HER FACE AFTER SEVERAL MINUTES FOLLOWED 2/3RDS OF THE FLW BOARD OF DIRECTORS ALONG WITH THE LEGAL STAFF TO THE BACK....* *AS TRACI AND ANGELINA LEFT THE RING IN SHOCK OF WHAT JUST TRANSPIRED WITH VAL....A BANNER SUDDENLY DROPPED FROM THE CIELING ABOVE THE RING.......*
DAN 'THE BEAST' SEVERN vs. "AMERICAN DRAGON" BRYAN DANIELSON "Both men shook hands before the bell, Severn took Danielson down early to the mat and was almost successful applying the bow and arrow submisson. Dragon withstood the early onslaught on the mat and was able to connect with a vicious palm strike followed by a running knee to the face busting the nose of Severn.
The former UFC champion seemed to just shrug off his nose being possibly broken and exploded with a German suplex and into a choke sleeper..Danielson was able to reach the ropes for the break. Both men at a standing position Danielson again connected with knee strikes to the upper body and face of Severn...and suddenly applied CATTLE MUTILATION hoping to tap out the UFC legend...after several minutes of struggling to reach the rope, Severn made it as the referee broke the hold American Dragon again came charging at Severn who caught him again with the German suplex followed up immeditatly by a heel hook pin combination for the victory!"
*AFTER THE MATCH BOTH MEN SHOOK HANDS ONCE AGAIN TO A STANDING OVATION FROM THE CROWD.* *ANGELINA LOVE WAS SHOWN IN THE BACK TALKING WITH MAD KANTER......* ANGELINA: "What the hell is going on in there Marc, I mean you and Jerod come into the ring unannounced, acting like Val commited a crime...you mind filling me in...."
MADKANTER: "Look, I cant get into great detail about it until we hear Val's side...I will say this...Val could be looking at some serious accounts from what I have seen to this point...the fact that LACY VON ERIC showed up at an FLW event and not only was seen quite a bit on camera, but influenced an outcome of a match when she is not even apart of the FLW roster..look I got to get back in there....just carry on with the show Angelina that is all I can tell you." INTER-PROMOTIONAL LADIES MATCH
TRACI BROOKS (TRD) defeated SARA DEL RAY (HEARTLAND) "With all the annamosity suddenly between these two ladies, thanks to the Buckeye Bowl and recently on HCW WARFARE there was no surprise that they went at each other before the bell to begin the match!
Heartland's DON MURACO showed up in the corner of Del Ray who early on really was off her game thanks to the quick offense of Traci who connected early with a vicious clothesline in the corner followed by a sit down power bomb!
Del Ray however caught Traci with a vicious forearm smash coming off the ropes followed by a power slam and a tremendous DDT...Del Ray then went to the top rope to punish Traci some more but missed a falling knee drop!.... Muraco seeing Del Ray was in trouble got up on the apron but was quickly pulled down and attacked byCHRIS BENIOT!...who fought with the original "ROCK" outside of the ring!
Sara yanked Brooks across the ring by her hair and was about to deliver her Death Ray when she was distracted by ANGELINA LOVE who made her way to ringside crutches and all! The two ladies were screaming at one another when CANDICE MICHELLE confronted Love at ringside!
VELVET SKY made her way down to ringside and started screaming at Candice...and much like how WARFARE ended the two got into a CAAAAATTTTTT FIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGHHHTTTTTT!
The referee came out to seperate the two...meanwhile Del Ray was setting up Traci for the DEATH RAY when while the referee was distracted with Sky and Candice...Angelina came up on the apron and nailed Del Ray in the back of the head with her crutch! knocking her out cold!
After several minutes Traci was able to crawl over and lay on top of Del Ray...As security got everyone else outside of the ring to the back...thew referee climbed back into the ring and counted to three to give Traci Brooks the upset victory! *AFTER THE MATCH, SECURITY HAD TO ESCORT A FURIOUS DEL RAY OUT OF THE BUILDING AS TRACI STAYED AT RINGSIDE AS THE STEEL CAGE WAS BEING CONSTRUCTED AROUND THE RING FOR THE NEXT MATCH* INTER- PROMOTIONAL STEEL CAGE GRUDGE MATCH
CHRIS BENOIT (TRD)defeated SID VICIOUS (AWE)
"One of the most physically intense matches in Tradition's young history...Benoit got Sid early with vicious kicks and chops in the corner, followed by a thunderous back suplex against the cage busting the back of Sid's head open!"
Traci was screaming at Benoit to continue to punish SID...and with the history between Traci and the self professed "Ruler of the World" no one could really blame her.
Benoit went for it all and missed when he delivered a diving head butt from the top of the cage and hit nothing but canvas!...Sid still bleeding from the back of his head took control with a vicious boot to the fave followed by some high impact clotheslines...Sid with a smile on his face suddenlt blew a snot rocket at Traci and yelled "COME ON BABY...YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO"...then laughed uncontrolably...Sid delivered a power bomb to Beniot not once but twice....Benoit however caught Sid suddenly with a small package for the three count!!!!!!" *AFTER THE MATCH, SID WENT CRAZY HITTING BENOIT IN THE BACK AND WHIPPING THE DOOR OF THE CAGE RIGHT INTO HIS FACE!...
THEN SID THREW TRACI AGAINST THE CAGE BY HER HAIR!
SECURITY AND EMT'S CAME RUSHING DOWN TO CHECK ON BENOIT AND TRACI* PNW CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
(C) KURT ANGLE defeated BOBO BRAZIL "An unbelievable display by Kurt Angle in this match, considering the last week and a half coming off the time limit draw with Ric Flair at the SWEET SCIENCE 16 tournament, then just recently in the PNW return card having a hellish title defense against Buzz Sawyer...to cap it all off a truely outstanding match tonight!.
Brazil got the upper hand early with high impact moves which included his Coco Butt finisher which looked as though gave Bobo a three count but the referee said only two...Bobo who again dominated this match through out, confronted the referee about the count and that was the only opening Angle needed as he took advantage and connected not once but twice with his Olympic slam knocking the wind out of Bobo for the three count and victory!" *AFTER THE MATCH...WEIRD JEROD WHO CAME DOWN TO RINGSIDE TO WATCH THE MATCH GAVE ANGLE A STANDING OVATION...ANGLE LEAVING THE RING JUST GAVE A STARE TO JEROD AND TOSSED THE PNW TITLE DOWN AT HIS FEET* TRADITION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP (C) MISAWA/BISON SMITH defeated MORRISHIMA/TAJIRI "These two teams went right at each other....The TRADITION Champion; Morrishima and the number 1 contender for that belt Misawa just laid into one another with heavy blows..and despite Tajiri hitting Bison with a tremedous kick to the head..and giving him a face full of green mist, Bison got the victory for his team with his BISONTENIAL finisher on the Japanese Buzz Saw." -END TRADITION CARD #38 [/b][/div] |

"What in the hell do you think you are doing Angle, I came from a very good situation in PNW to this rag tag operation in my home state of Michigan and that was to take that title around your waist and bring it back to PNW...and now you pull this crap, after I signed a contract with TRADITION...that isn't gonna happen Angle"
ANGLE: "Easy there big fella, think this through I mean who is to say you cant just rip up that contract and come back to PNW with me...I mean with Val's situation, and Traci Brooks and Angelina Love all wrapped up in there cat fights over and HEARTLAND...this is a simple fix my friend....but...before you do that there is somebody here that wants to say hello to you personally!"
SUDDENLY........ SCOTT NORTONCOMES STORMING OUT OF THE CROWD AND BASHES BOBO SQUARE IN THE FACE WITH A STEEL CHAIR SCOTT NORTON defeated BOBO BRAZIL "With that hellish chair shot by Norton, the match was underway...despite a bloody face Bobo fought back and connected with two coco butt finishers but was not able to put Norton away. Norton turned Brazil inside out with a thunderous lariat from the corner and put Bobo away with a tremendous back breaker!" 6 MAN TAG TEAM CHALLENGE MATCH JIMMY JACOBS/TYLER BLACK & CHRISTOPHER DANIELS w/ SHELLY MATINEZ defeated IRISH AIRBORNE w/ MELINA & ERICK STEVENS "An absolute crazy match which saw the reunited AGE OF THE FALL members: Black and Jacobs along with the Young Lions Champion: Christopher Daniels take it to the Airborne who seemed really out of sink early on to the dismay of Melina.
Stevens however picked up the slack for his team in a big way with a huge Dr Bomb finisher on Jacobs..only for Jacobs to be saved by Daniels who got Stevens with the BME to prevent the pin on Jacobs...Tyler Black however got the victory with an amazing 450 splash onto Jake Crist for the 3 count!" *AFTER THE MATCH, ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE, FIRST MELINA SLAPPED JAKE CRIST IN THE FACE AND WALKED OUT ON THE AIRBORNE!
THEN TYLER BLACK & JIMMY JACOBS ATTACKED CHRISTOPHER DANIELS...AND LEFT HIM LAYING IN HIS OWN POOL OF BLOOD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!*
BRYAN DANIELSON/KENTA defeated "FROM RUSSIA W/ LOVE"
"These two rival teams once again stole the show, Danielson quickly got the upper hand with a palm strike on Volfoff..who fought back with tremendous forearm shots to the face of the Dragon. Koslov continued the assault with vicious stiff kicks to the upper body and connected with a Solviet Strike...KENTA however was there to make the save and tag inrto the match and with the original GTS after several minutes of back and forth action with Volkoff got the victory for his team"
4 CORNER NON TITLE SCRAMBLE MATCH
CHRIS BENOIT defeated TEKESHI MORRISHIMA, STEVE CORINO & TAJIRI
Benoit showed his toughness by competing in this match still feeling the effects of the hellish cage match against Sid Vicious at "HEROES AND VILLAINS"
"A wild match to say the least that went over 20 minutes, Corino and Morrishima who brawled through out the building...busting each other open...meanwhile in the ring the action was just as intense between Benoit and Tajiri with stiff shots by both athletes, Tajiri had Benoit reeling after kicks to the head and a spring board elbow. Benoit however turned the tables and got the victory after dropping Tajiri right on his head after a back drop!" TRADITION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
(C) BISON SMITH/MISAWA defeated THE ROAD WARRIORS
"PNW representatives the Road Warriors came back to TRADITION to get there rematch against the TRADITION Tag Champs.
