There's truth to this. Yet in my Fed...Encubus has been a very dark character over the years who's actions aren't defined by his family lineage and can't be excused by it either. That's where the challenge comes into play for me...finding a credible reason (that I can sell myself on) behind 'why' he would change (and for him reconciling with Bloodline for a 'greater good' would be a tremendous change from how I've portrayed him). Thanks for the feedback everyone. I could see a dark, paranoid Encubus pushed to the edge by the pending arrival of Monolith. He feels that HE is the man, but Epoch is clearly planning for a scenerio where Monolith is the main star, and Encubus is not. These feelings of rejection, paranoia and rage could leave him open to the machinations of Mother Superior- whose real motivation (like her identity) is still unknown. These circumstances could easily come together and allow Mother Superior to convince Encubus that this is in Encubus' own best interests, in addition to being best for her and Bloodline. Just my 2 cents...
