Hanson was the first elimination of the match when Silas Young hit The Pee Wee Waja Plunge on Hanson after Rowe hit The Death Rowe Knee Strike.





Young's momentum was cut short when Sydel spiked Young on his head with a hurricanrana.  Sydel scored the pin after a Sydel Special





Sydel hit a perfect enzuigiri on O'Shea. Before O'Shea could recover, Sydel scored with a Shooting Sydel Press to get his second elimination of the match.





Willie Mack dropped from the sky with a big splash on Rowe. Mack locked in the Chocolate Thunder Driver on Rowe for three.




Sydel unloaded a fury of offense on Sydel. After back to back Here It Is Drivers, Sydel scored with a Double Helix for the win.



Winner: Matt Sydel



Sydel and Mack shook hands after the bout. The fans cheered Sydel, demanding him to come back.

Mark Briscoe came out to support his brother. With only one fall, all four went all out from bell to bell. Mark slapped his brother Jay and yelled at to man up. As the fans chanted "Man up", Jay connected with a big Yakuza Kick on Busick. Jay locked in and connected with the Jay Driller on Busick for three.

ReDRagon destroyed Taven. Fish and O'reilly did not let Bennett into the match. Taven did survive a Chasing The Dragon, but could not get out of O'Reilly's Armageddon.

Styles went for the quick pin with the Rack bomb and Spiral Tap. Styles got caught with a dive and slammed to the floor. Davis power bombed Styles on the ring steps. Davis hit back to back 3 Seconds Around The World Power Bombs for the upset.



Winner: Jon Davis



Adam Pearce came out holding a white envelope. Davis hit one more power bomb as Pearce entered the ring. He gave Davis the envelope. Davis walked out of the ring. As he was counting his money, Michael Elgin blitzed the ring and went after Pearce. The two went at it as Styles was taken to the back by extra officials.

Pearce had to use a cheap shot to the eyes of Elgin to stop the powerhouse cold in his tracks. After a Last Ride Lariat, Pearce hit a Jumping Pile Driver (and a hook of the tights) for three.

The Hobo (3)



Strong rolled out of the ring to put a halt to The Hobo's offense. The Hobo charged at Strong. Strong caught him and dropped him back first on the ring steps, putting a second dent in them. Back in the ring, Strong connected with a Sick Kick for three.



Winner: Roderick Strong



Strong got on the mic and told the fans he next month, he will be challenging Ricochet for the Jr Weight belt. After he is done with Ricochet, he will be known as Mr. EPW.

Before the match got underway, EPW Owner Christopher J came out. He told the fans that he had a special treat for the fans tonight. Two wrestlers approached him in the locker room and asked to be on the main show. One wasn't even booked to, the other was on the pre show. I said of course. So this match is now a four corner elimination match.



Matt Sydel came out first. Aries walked out of the ring, saying he did not agree to this match. While Aries had his back turned, AR Fox came out, Grabbed Aries and tossed him back into the ring. Fox climbed to the top and hit a drop kick from the top rope as the ref rang the bell

Sydel showed no fatigue as he went for a quick pin on Fox after a Here Is It Driver. Sydel went to the top rope, but Lethal shook the rope, causing Sydel to crotch himself. Lethal hit The Diving Dynamite to eliminate Sydel.



Lethal and Aries came up with a scheme to double team Fox. Fox tried to fight off both men, but eventually the numbers game was to much for Fox and slumped to the floor. Aries went out a dropped Fox on his head with a brain buster. He rolled Fox back in the ring and pinned him with one foot on his chest.



Fox and Aries smiled and shook hands, knowing their plan worked. However, they turned on each other and started fighting in the middle of the ring. Aries hit a quick brainbuster on Lethal, hooking the leg (and putting his feet on the ropes for three)



Winner: Austin Aries



Aries won 6 points



Lethal won 1 point



Sydel and Fox lost 2 points

Haas and Benjamin avoided The Wolves when they were on the offensive, onyl attacking when either Richards and Edwards were down. The Wolves fought back and was about to put their Force Of Nature finisher on Haas when Benjamin blocked it and pulled Haas out of the ring. The Wolves settled on hitting The Force of nature on Romero while WGTT watched on the floor.



Winner: The Wolves



The Wolves had their hands raised. Haas and Benjamin yelled "you still didn't pinned us" as they walked to the back.

Here is the full line up for Volume 9: Strong vs Ricochet


Roderick Strong will challenge Ricochet for the EPW Jr Weight Title.  This is the first ever title defense in EPW's young history.  Should Strong fail, he will lose his points and must start over.

Matt Sydel's debut in EPW was met with mixed results.  He was victories in the preshow match, but was the first eliminated during the Aries/Lethal/Fox/Sydel match.  Sydel will look to rebound against AR Fox.

Jay Lethal eliminated Sydel last month, but lost to Aries by questionable means.  Lethal asked for a match with Aries one on one.  With seven points, Aries can get into title contention with a win.

ReDRagon is the point leaders in the tag team ranks with six points.  They will look add more as they faced Forever Hooligans, who are in second with two points.

Adam Pearce is in tied for third with six points.  Pearce can gain more with a win over QT Marshall, who will look to get on the plus side of the scoreboard.

Tied with Pearce is Jon Davis.  Davis will be facing Michael Elgin, who can not afford a second loss as right now he is sitting at -1.

The Wolves are close to the even point on the scoreboard in the tag team ranks.  They will be taking on the team of Matt Taven and Michael Bennett.  Taven and Bennett have told officials that they will be going by a new ring name that they will debut at the next show.

The Hobo sits at one point.  Nick Madrid is right now at -2.  Both men need this win as they can not afford to lose points.

Even though, he was at ringside during the match that involved his brother, Mark Briscoe does not have a official contract to wrestle in EPW.  He will look to earn one against the last place wrestler, Biff Busick.  Busick sits at a abysmal minus six points, and must win this match.  Should he fail, it could be the last match for Busick in EPW.

Jay Briscoe accompanied his brother to ringside.   

Busick sent Briscoe out of the ring with a clothesline over the top rope. Busick tried to send Briscoe into the guard rail, but Briscoe reverse the whip and sent Busick into the rails instead. Busick was slammed to the floor by a Briscoe suplex, sending a sick thump through out the building. Briscoe sent Busick back in the ring and finished him off with a flying elbow drop. 

Winner: Mark Briscoe 

Jay raised his brother's hand in victory. He warned the tag teams in EPW that The Briscoes have united once again.

Hobo went for a quick win after a Lowdown Dirty Clothesline. Hobo continued the offensive assault. A flurry of offense led to a second Lowdown Dirty Clothesline. This time, it was enough to get the win.

Marshall was in the ring when Pearce came out. He had a look of disgust on his face. He reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a envelope. He got on the mic and told Marshall that they should not be in the same building together, let alone in the same ring. He told Marshall that if he walked away from this match, the money is his. Marshall opened the envelope and pulled out a small stack of hundreds. While he was looking at the money, Pearce attacked him. 

Adam Pearce (6)

QT Marshall (-1) 

The distraction worked to perfection as Pearce slammed Marshall to the mat with a spine buster. Pearce sent Marshall crashing to the mat again with a Last Ride Lariat. Pearce put one foot on Marshall's chest and got the quick three. 

Winner: Adam Pearce 

Pearce gathered the money and put it back in his pocket. Pearce took the empty envelope and stuffed it in Marshall's mouth, yelling "You should have walked away" before he left the ring.

After being down early, Elgin took the fight to the floor and scored with a body slam and a clothesline. Elgin went for a Elgin Bomb, but could not put Davis away. After connected with a back fist on Davis, Elgin went for a second Elgin Bomb. This time, it was enough for three. 

Winner: Michael Elgin

Mike Bennett and Matt Taven came out with a couple of bags. Bennett got on the mic and told the crowd their announcement. They were thinking of a new name for their group. Then Taven had a idea. They were both sexy. They are both extremely talented. Lastly they are both guys. So from here on out, they were to be called The Sexy, Talented, Dudes. Taven pulled out shirts with their initials on them S.T.D's and threw them in the crowd. Some of the fans threw them back in the ring, laughing at the name. The S.T.D's argued with the fans until the Wolves's music blared. 

The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) (-1)

The S.T.D's (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) (-1) 

The wolves were not impressed with the new name for their opponents as they completely demolished them early in the match. Bennett was the victims of back to back Chin Checkers, but managed to stay in the match. The wolves took turns isolating Bennett from his partner. Bennett eventually fell to Edwards' Die Hard 

Winner: The Wolves 

The Wolves looked at one of the shirts and laughed at it. Richards took the shirt and threw it right in the garbage can nearby as the fans cheered them.

ReDRagon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly) (6)

Forever Hooligans (Rocky Romero and Alex Koslov) (2) 

ith the lead in the tag ranks on the line, both teams started off very aggressive. O'Reilly locked in Armageddon on Romero. Koslov tried to break it up, but Fish stopped him with a Flying Fish Hook. Fish and O'Reilly hit The Chasing The Dragon on Romero. O'Reilly locked in the Armageddon on Romero again for the submission. 

Winner: ReDRagon 

Fish held up one finger in the air, signaling the number of points they need to get a title shot.

Lethal took the fight to the floor and rammed Aries head first into the ring post. Aries barely got out of the Koji Clutch. Lethal hit the Lethal Combination on Aries. Lethal locked in the Koji Clutch a second time. This time he couldn't get out.

Fox and Sydal shook hands shortly after the bell rang. Fox went for the quick win, even busting out Lo Mein Pain on Sydal, but couldn't get him down for three. Sydal tried to make a rally, but was cut off by well placed roundhouse kick by Fox. Fox set up for the Lo Mein Pain again. The second time was the charm. 

Winner: AR Fox

Ricochet 

Strong hit a Sick Kick early on Ricochet. Ricochet countered a break breaker on the ring apron and shoved Strong face first into the ring post. Ricochet took to the air one time too many and missed a 630 Senton attempt. Strong lined up for the Sick Kick. Ricochet crumbled to the ground and could not get up in time. 

Winner: Roderick Strong 

The ref handed the belt to Strong. "I told you so" Strong yelled as he raised the belt up in the air. Ricochet walked away dejected to the back.

Here is the full card for Volume 10: Chasing Greatness


ReDRagon leads the tag team division with nine points.  They need a win to get a title shot.  They first must get past Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team, who sit at third with only one point.


Austin Aries and Jon Davis suffered a setback as they both lost points last month.  They will look to rebound as they square off one on one.


In what is expected to be a highly contended match, AJ Styles faces off against AR Fox.  Both men currently have four points.


The Briscoes will look to get on the board as they face off against The Wolves.  The Wolves will look to keep their winning ways going against the brother tag team.


The newly named S.T.D's face off Forever Hooligans.  A win for both teams is vital as both are in the minus side of the scoreboard.


Adam Pearce tried to bribed his way to points against QT Marshall.  Pearce was signed to face off against The Hobo in singles action.


Former Jr champion Ricochet will look to get back his title as he faces off against Matt Sydal.  Since winning his dark match, Sydal has yet to win a match and is sitting at -4.


Jay Lethal jumped back in the title race with his win.  At four points, he will look to add to his total as he faces off against Michael Elgin, who sits at two points.

Next to Fox/Styles it should be match of the night.  If Sydal was higher on the scoreboard (right now he isn't even top 10) I would have have it higher up the card.

Lethal tried to work on Elgin's knee, but Lethal walked right into a lariat by Elgin. Elgin threw Lethal around like a rag doll. Lethal surprised Elgin with a flash pin. Lethal changed his stragety to a hit and run tactic. The plan backfired as Lethal caught going for a cross body from the top rope. Elgin shifted Lethal into the Elgin Bomb. Lethal's head slammed to the mat and could not get up until well after the ref counted three. 

Winner: Michael Elgin

Ricochet did a flip once the bell rang. Sydal did one as well. Ricochet did a shooting star flip. Sydal could not do it and crashed to the mat. Ricochet took advantage of the mishap and went on the offense. Ricochet went for his 630 Senton, but Sydal managed to get a knee up. With Ricochet withering his pain, Sydal went to the top rope. Sydal soared to the air and came down with a Shooting Sydal Press for the the three. 

Winner: Matt Sydal

Adam Pearce walked to the ring disgusted. He got on the mic and told the fans The Hobo only so he can get money from him. The Hobo came out and got into the ring. Pearce said it ain't happened and walked out of the ring. The Hobo followed him and pop with in the jaw. The Hobo grabbed Pearce and threw him back in the ring.

The Hobo (4) 

Pearce poked The Hobo in the eyes. With his old school offense, Pearce wore down The Hobo. The Hobo managed to catch Pearce with a Low Down Dirty Clothesline. With a deep hook of the leg, The Hobo managed to keep Pearce's shoulder's down for three. 

Winner: The Hobo 

Pearce was just as shocked at the results as Hobo was. Pearce tried to get his hands on The Hobo, but The Hobo slipped out of the ring and was half way up the ramp with Pearce's jacket. Pearce started to throw a tantrum as The Hobo left to the back. Pearce stormed to the back.

The S.T.D's (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) (-4)

Forever Hooligans (Rocky Romero and Alex Koslov) (-1) 

Taven jumped Romero before the bell rang. Bennett climbed to the top rope to attack Koslov. Instead of doing a top rope dive, he showed off by posing for the crowd, cauaing him to miss. Taven sent Koslov to the floor. Bennett hit a piledriver on Koslov to the floor as Taven held off Romero. Romero could only watch as Koslov couldn't make it to the ring before twenty 

Winner: The STD's (count out) 

The STD's celebrated like they won the championship. Romero looked at the the STD's in disgust before tending to his partner.

The Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) (1)

The Briscoes (Jay and Mark) (0) 

These two teams hit, kick suplexed, and slammed the hell out of each other. The action spilled out to the floor frequently, with both teams flirting with being counted out. With every ounce of energy that was left in his body, Mark Briscoe hoisted Richards on his shoulders and drove his head into the mat with a cut throat driver. Mark barely got a arm on Richards for the ref to count the three. 

Winner: The Briscoes 

Jay and Edwards checked on their respective partners. Both Richards and Mark had to be helped to the back.

AJ Styles (4) 

Styles and Fox shook hands at the bell. Styles survived a early AR-KO. Styles could not survived back top back KRUNCH as Fox picked up the shockingly easy win. 

Winner: AR Fox  

The fans were stunned that Styles lost so easy. Styles did show Fox respect and shook his hand. Styles was holding his back of his neck as he went to the locker room.

Jon Davis (4) 

Aries used a hit and run stragety, keeping the bigger Davis on balance. Aries managed to chip away at Davis until he was able to hoist Davis on his shoulders for a DVD. Aries landed a frog splash and a 450 Splash for near falls. He picked up Davis and spiked him with a brain buster, popped the hips and landed a second brain buster for the three. 

Winner: Austin Aries 

As Aries left the ring, he looked right at the camera and demanded AR Fox next month.

ReDRagon (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly) (9)

Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjiman) (1) 

Fish went for the kill early, going for Chasing The Dragon early on Benjamin. Haas had his share, hmanaging to survive a early Arm ageddon by O'Reilly. Haas and Benjiman fought back, isolating Fish. Haas got Fish from earlier, forcing Fish to survive a Leap Of Faith. Hass and Benjiman started to show frustration, repeatingly throwing both Fish and O'Reilly to the floor. The arrogance cost them as O'Reilly blocked a top rope attempt by Benjiman and superplexed him down to the mat. Fish hit Chasing The Dragon on Benjiman. He saw Haas coming and took hi out with a Flying Fish Hook. Fish hit Chasing The Dragon agin on Benjiman for the three.   

Winner: ReDRagon 

O'Reilly celebrated with his partner as the win gave them enough points for a title shot. O'Reilly mad ethe challenge official by getting on the mic and telling The Tribe and the fans they were coming for the tag titles next month.

AJ Styles aggravated his back injury.  He will miss the next EPW show.

The Tribe will defend the EPW Tag Team Titles against ReDRagon.  This is the first defense for The Tribe.


Austin Aries (8) and AR Fox (7) are one win away from getting a title shot.  They will collide in the ring.  Aries says he has a announcement on the night of the show for this match.


After The Hobo took the match and the jacket away from Adam Pearce, Pearce has sent Jon Davis to get payback.


The Briscoes had a successful debut as a team in a hard hitting match against The Wolves.  They will not have it easy as they faces Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team.


Rocky Romero wants to challenge one of the STD's to a singles match for putting his partner on the shelf.


The Wolves will look to rebound from their tough loss as they face off against The C&C Wrestle Factory.


Ten men will enter the ring.  One man will be left standing in a over the top rope battle royal.  The wrestlers involved:  Jay Lethal, Mike Bennett, Tadarius Thomas, Michael Elgin, Nick Madrid, Biff Busick, QT Marshall, Ricochet, Rhett Titus, Matt Sydal
