Missing Link promos are SUPER easy.
Give him a manager, and then write a promo with that manager.
Of course, I don't write any promos for my Legends fed, so this is all a non-issue for me.

I'm not trying to be a jerk but I dont think lack of interest or support has anything to do with the next legends set not coming out until next summer so I dont see the point of this thread. Posting names of wrestlers you'd like to see in the game has been done over and over countless times and it's not going to change anything. The next legends set wont be out until next summer so we'll all have to wait Its not about helping get the sets pushed out quickly. It is about the lack of updates and news to keep the Legends fans interested. We're probably looking at 6-8 months before the next set is released what sort of updates do you want this far in advance ? |

Since you havent been around for the old time wars I wouldnt expect you to understand. I amjust saying that Legends doesnt get the attention it deserves |

Iceman King Parsons would be sweet, I believe The Rock and Booker T both took trash talking from this man's book. Also, I would never disrespect anyone for only playing Legends, but I've tried to get into Legends and as a "younger" guy then alot around here, I just don't know the older characters as well. If i had more Konnan's, Sabu's, DDP's, Rick Rude's...then I'd be more into it. As great as I know the history of wrestling, I couldn't write a Harly Race or Nick Bockwinkle promo, because I haven't watched countless hours of their wrestling. Anything post Wrestlemania, I understand completely. Perhaps we should have offered packages pre 85, post 85 to help some of us younger fans. I'm not THAT much older than ya....(2 years) Thing is, virtually anyone that wrestled in the TV era has some kind of clip on YouTube now. Race, Bockwinkel, Don Leo Jonathan, DiPaolo...they're all out there...and I haven't watched countless hours of any of them...but my curiosity did get the best of me so I hunted up something on each of them, to get a feel for them. Besides...any given wrestler is subject to the whims of his booker...=) Yeah, that is kind of my hook on it too. I've never seen a lot of the guys wrestle until I bought the game and researched the guys. A lot of the fun for me was going onto the web and seeing the guys wrestle on YouTube etc. When I started, I just used the guidelines to feuds/partners etc on guys I wasnt familiar with, and ran with it. Now some of the guys I had no idea who they were are my favorite guys in the LOW. Like Ox Baker, looking on the site when I ordered the game, I was thinking who the heck is Ox Baker, and now he is one of my favorite guys in the game. I am looking forward to the announcement/teasers on the new guys, for me hearing the announcement on the new guys, seeing how other promoters will use them, and waiting by the mailbox for a week until they get here is almost better than actually using the cards. I guess I am a little weird that way......... ;D |

I know what you mean...Frank Gotch and George Hackenschmidt are two of my favorite guys in the game, and two of the only guys I have never gotten to see footage of...but their stories have bled over into my fed, permeated what they do there.
The Flying Redheads and The Fabulous Kangaroos...way before my time...embroiled in a three-way feud with The Road Warriors for tag team dominance that is just capturing my fed's imagination...in fact, if anything, some of the guys I am more familiar with seem to suffer in the game...but I won't turn this into another Hacksaw rant...=)

well im a big legends supporter. and yes we do need updates hints and special charts and matches for legends only.the biggest news ive heard was the tournement thing and it wide up being another GWF wrestler thing Arrrggg. but legends got me back into wrestling.not COTG but Legends.i think the guys at fed HQ are doing a great job. but putting out flyers to have wrestlers join would be cool.how hard could it be to sign ICP???

I know the game is starved for wrestlers (or at least seems to be), but they can't be THAT desperate, can they? |
