That's right, the "other Eric" has returned to Filsinger Games! I was a player from back in the early days but stopped playing around 2009 due to finances and a general lack of interest in wrestling but now things have improved and I'm back in. Sadly, I got rid of all my GWF stuff so starting from scratch there (just ordered the 2087 starter package) but still have what LOW sets I had up until then (just ordered 3 of the newer sets). Looking forward to rolling the dice again soon and catching up on the game sets & fellow Promoters!

Welcome back man. Don't recognize the name, but we might have crossed paths back in the day. Were you a member of the original club with the monthly newsletters they'd send in the mail?

I was a member of that club! It was the newsletter sent out by Mark Ashby, right? Do you happen to recall the fantasy fed that got started where each member of the club had their own COTG character created? Myron X. Coleman was the first champion, but my character, "The Major Rager" won the title from him shortly thereafter! WOW! Good times! |

Yeah Mark Ashby!! That's the one! It was a long long time ago, but that sounds super familiar. I definitely remember Myron X and even talked to him on the phone a few times back then. I won the fan of the month one month. I was a kid and it was a really big deal for me at the time! I wish I still had that old newsletter! ha! I had a few other little things that made it in to the newsletter like some match results and stuff. Hell I even bought the Mark Ashby entrance songs for the wrestlers on tape! Do you remember that?!
But yeah definitely good times! I remember how much I looked forward to that newsletter to show up every month! I'd see the mailman outside and run out there to get it directly from the postman hoping it would be there!

I totally remember Mark's GWF soundtrack... It was very 'New Wave', heavy on the synth, if I remember correctly... My buddy and I won Fed Fanatic of the Month as a team... It's unfortunate that it took me so long to rediscover this game, but I'm very glad I did... Having a blast!
