Unfortunately, I have to agree. Reused characters are needed to progress the current story line. However, the old Black Death cards now need also to be revamped.

SPOILER ALERT: Some of this stuff might happen in 2131. Some of it might not. You've been warned. the big news is the return of the Transevolver thanks to the Galactic Rebels taking over the ship, and rerouting course to follow the Colby ship. Tauran commits suicide, will the Transevolver save him? ten cards will be: WOLF (from this universe) PANTHER WARRIOR (from this universe) guys on the ship: THE DARK MENACE (driving, hijacked by Galactic Rebels) DOOMSAYER (with fully functional legs, ever lost them in war) MASS (Transevolved Ruin and Antimatter) MATTER RACK DREADNAUGHT (who's become immortal and will live forever thanks to the Transevolver) MATADOR OF M83 DARK JUSTICE If done right; good artwork, good story and good card mechanics then this line up could be great. Though, I'm not sure why we would need a new Panther Warrior update. I would like to see many a second generation GWF son that is great again maybe the son of Wolf make his debut. I would like to see the Aethra story continue, new blood or a on going struggle between them and a new Ministry of War faction. I do like a return of Matador of M83, who is a main event and can hold his own against Chaos Supreme himself.

There's also some guys, who if they are going to stick around, would need a downgrade, IMO.

I don't mind the Wolf and Panther Warrior cards for this edition. Panther Warrior was in desperate need of an update.

The entire Gladiator roster either needs updates or new blood just like Aplex said. Maybe a new Aethran tag team with Turmoil becoming a singles star.
I would like to see a facelift for the Ani-men as well. I could see Panther Warrior returning to lead a new, younger and edgier faction.
I would like to see new art for Harbinger. One that doesn't portray him in a position of weakness.
I would like to see more of a focus put on legit tag teams, instead of singles guys put together to form a team.
Those taken over by Black Death either need updates or written out, i.e. Bishop Hell and Havoc.

I would prefer alt dimension guys for not to continue Future Shock story and once it has run its course then you can do upgrades on current guys. Sure mix in one or two now but have a bunch in a year or two as the guys from this dimension band together and stand up to FS.
Soon as I got 2030 I figured Matador would be coming in 2031. No way he and Chaos do not have something up their sleeves. Probably was Matador in a ship hitching a ride with FS when they came over in 2030. The question is was Matador secretly recruiting guys to join a splinter group lead by Chaos OR is Chaos the one scoping out this dimension for Matador thus a reversal of what happened in the original story line.

if it was 2091, that might make sense, but an 18 year vet Chaos scouting for an older Matador, not as much sense.
I think Tom will get to updates and such in time, but I think this story is going to require some alternate guys (otherwise it's just Black Death with some new guys) I'm curious what is required to be an actual tag team and not two singles guys thrown together though.

This is a case were I would like to see what was done for 2130 A regular set then a mini-Fillout set Use the mini set for updates that need to be but are not critical so the main set can be the characters that are driving the story
I would really like 2 sets a year and a full and a mini are the easiest to work with

I'm curious what is required to be an actual tag team and not two singles guys thrown together though. I'm not sure if this is exactly what he means, but I always prefer guys who are a legit tag team, instead of where the handbook says, "Sometimes, these two guys team up as this team." Just my preference. Since I began playing this game, of so many years ago, I will rarely have guys who are in a tag team, wrestle solo and guys who are a solo act wrestle in a team. For example, currently, Bex and Sur are THE IMMORTALS, a tag team they rarely, wrestle solo. Just my preference.

I agree, there has to be some sort of connection besides these guys team up.
