Actually, reading it again, yeah I could see it being one pack but seeming like 3 4 packs.

Clearly says three 4 packs. My guess is each 4 pack will represent a different parallel universe and year. 4 guys on the ship, 4 guys from this universe and 4 more from a future parallel universe. Tom is a Hollywood movie writer now and this sounds a lot like a Hollywood movie script style. Probably lots of twists, turns and swerves that he wants the audience to experience in parts like a trilogy rather than all in one read/handbook.
I could see him releasing them separately (say one every month starting in July) or in a combo pack with careful instructions on how to un-package and read each pack in order, much like GCON last year w 2130.

I can see it going either way BUT since it is a COTG year set I think it will be one set. Within that one set will be 3 sets of 4 cards. It is possible that while they are part of the over all story they might also be mini stories themselves. Think of comics where you can have one large story arc that different titles are involved in but also the individual titles have their own story arc going on.

I'll wait to hear more information from Tom before I make any decisions on it. If we are getting 3 different 4 pack cards then I would be okay with paying $7 or so for each pack.

If Swarm's guesses on the 2131 were true and Doomsayer and the Transvoler were back. What would Monolith be if he went through it? Would his ani-man rhino side take over more than his human side? I think we would see more of the rhino features in him come out.

2131 could be the authorities chasing Colby and crew. Doomsayer with the Cosmic Forces, would be cool to see from an alternate universe. but that's my own twisted zeal. can't wait to see what Tom comes up with

I was thinking about an all powerful cosmic entity (kind of like Marvel's Living Tribunal or Marvel/DC's Access), responsible for realities and their existence/destiny, having to come to the GWF in order to restore balance to the universes by "Collecting" these "Escaped fugitives" one at a time... Perhaps a Galactic Punisher... |
