Special Attraction Match Giant Baba and Gorgeous George fought to a Double DQ. George seemed to dominate a large portion of the match largely due to Dupree's interference. Once again the crowd were irrate at George and Dupree's antics. Dupree interfered no less than 4 times often supplying George with a foriegn object.

Rikidozan has announced that there will be a small tournament to decide the first Elite Wrestling Champion when the league finishes.
The four participants currently in the league will contest for the vacant title.
Other news show that TV figures in Japan has jumped considerably since the promotion started. Japanese citizens were interviewed as to what they tuned in for, the answer was divided between seeing their hero Rikidozan wrestle and wanting to see Gorgeous George get his butt whipped. Many tune in to see Giant Baba.
Rumours: *Rikidozan is in talks with the LWF to allow The LWF Tag Champs - The Vachons - appear in one of his shows. *Rikidozans wrestling league will tour the US. *Elite Wrestling League promotions is contemplating having a minor league so wrestlers can be promoted to the major league *Giant Baba's next match with Gorgeous George could well be a speciality match, this will keep Dupree from interfering and will be a big blow to George.

At the moment there are only 6 guys who are wrestling, 4 of which are regulars. This way I get to play regularly and it has meaning, with it being scored etc. I'm enjoying this more than my LWF at the moment, fueds seem to have more spotlight but I will get back to it.

I like what you're doing here. Does the winner of the round robin go on to face three new wrestlers?

Thanks, it only started as something to get me playing regulary again. This was the best idea I had to give it a competitive edge.
I'm sort of drawing a picture of it being a small promotion which focuses more on quality than quantity but at the same time realistically can't compete with the likes of the LWF.
It's meant to be a platform for wrestlers who would normally be faded into the background in a big promotion to shine and have the spotlight thrown on them. Of course I do plan to have some major stars compete as it grows in stature. I also like the idea of some wrestlers just competing for a couple of shows, that gives me extra flexibility.
To answer your question I'm contemplating wheather to demote 1 or 2 wrestlers from the league, they will be replaced by 1-2 new wrestlers on a wild card basis. Right now it looks more like the bottom 2 will go out and 2 new wrestlers will come in.

Elite Wrestling Promotions Update.
*EWP failed in it's bid to negotiate The Vachons appearing on one of its shows. The LWF have also stated that Red Bastien will be fined for appearing in Japan on a EWP show whilst still under contract for the LWF. The Samoans however escaped a fine because of a clause in their contract.
*Rikidozan has been in talks with other independent promotions and it looks like a wrestler from Mexico could be lined up to wrestle on the next show instead. It's rumoured to be either Konnan or Pepper Gomez. The opponent is yet to be named.
*Finally, Gorgeous George and Giant Baba will settle their fued in a cage match. It was rumoured that George wasn't particularly happy with the arrangement but didn't want to jeopodize his chances of performing in the next Elite Wrestling League.
