Alright, the puck drops tonight on the first round! Who does everyone have? I personally think that the cup is going back north of the boarder, and will go to the winners of the Ottawa/Montreal series. Price vs. Hamburglar is a great goalie matchup, and which ever one comes out on top is going to have the hot hand to ride all the way through the east. Feet to the fire, if I have to chose one, I'll go with the Sens, because of Pacioretty being out for the Habs in game one (if not more).

This year is super interesting in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. There is honestly no clear "Top Contender" this year.
I would love to see the cup come north, and either Ottawa or Montreal will be the team from the east. Only big hurdle will be the Islanders (would be cool if the Islanders brought one more cup to Long Island before moving to Brooklyn next year)
The west is going to be wild this year and I think either the Jets or Flames will come out from that conference. The Jets are more of a pipe dream for me. The Flames I think are riding super high on the momentum they have built up this year. I honestly think Canada would go crazy if it was an all Canadian Team Final. Mind you that would suck for US ratings.

With my Flyers out, I'm just going to sit back and watch the games without rooting for a favorite.

Gotta pull for my hometown New York Islanders in the last playoffs in the Nassau Colliseum. They won the first game against the perennially choking Capitals. Looking forward to a classic rivalry matchup next round against the Rangers or Penguins!

Watched my hometown team of Blackhawks win in double OT. don't know who I'll pull for when their out. Our magic number is 15 to bring the cup back.
