I finally saw the final movie of the three I picked on this poll and it was MAD MAX FURY ROAD, I purchased the digital version and WOW! I love this movie, it is by far the best of the 4 Mad Max movies and the full cast were solid. Immortan Joe played by Hugh Keays-Byrne who played Toecutter in the first Mad Max was cool to see back in a Max film...

Saw Entourage on it's opening weekend, thought it was good. Kinda like 4 extra episodes to tie things up from where the television series left off. If you're a fan of the show & saw every episode like I did, you won't be disappointed.
Saw Straight Outta Compton yesterday. Coming of age in the early 90's, let me tell you there was NO band that made my jaw drop quite as far as N.W.A did. None. I'll even go out on a limb & say that the 2 most IMPORTANT artists from that era were both N.W.A and Public Enemy. Without question, the very first rap supergroup definitely deserved to have their story told on the big screen & the film did not disappoint. Acting was top notch, especially Oshea Jackson Jr.'s portrayal of his dad, Ice Cube. Also, an accurate snapshot of the absolute abuse of power perpetrated by the LAPD during that time. Brought back memories of arguments I had with my mother regarding the still ridiculous not guilty verdict in the Rodney King trial. Saddest part of it all, we still haven't progressed as a nation, but let me get down off my soapbox. This is a great film & well worth seeing, even if you're not a fan of the band and or gangsta rap.

This afternoon on $5 Tuesdays at the Suncoast- where all movies are just $5 all day long every Tuesday-I saw Mission Impossible Rogue Nation.
It was good, I give it an A-/B+, but not as good as Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol which was my favorite of the Mission Impossible movies.

I sat through Fant4stic. I haven't walked out of a movie in over twenty years, but I damn near did this one. It felt like the unsold pilot for a Fantastic Four TV series on ScyFy.
