NWA NEWS AJ STYLES pulls out of the IMPOSSIBLE TOURNAMENT due to NEW JAPAN obligations. PREDATOR PROMOTIONS owner ~KB~ is very unhappy at the last minute turn of events, and issued this statement. ~KB~ " AJ Styles had an agreement with Predator Promotions and he knowingly broke it ..... If this tournament was going to conflict in any way with his Japan obligations then we should have been made aware from the beginning and NOT at the last minute! The NWA is considering suing Mr. Styles and NEW JAPAN wrestling....... But enough of that.......... A suitable, more than suitable, replacement has been found and will be in Dallas to compete in the Impossible Tournament. The show must go on!" |

Woah! Major turn off events... With Styles dropping out, I'll have to go with Chris Hero to win the final bracket...
No matter what, the finals are shaping up to be awesome!

12 BRACKET DELTA PJ BLACK 1 pinned CHRIS HERO /w/ 450 Splash * Hero dominated but uncharacteristicly went high risk, and it cost him as a missed Death Jump led to his demise. (Gotta love snake eyes) PJ BLACK 1-0CHRISTOPHER DANIELS 0-0TIMOTHY THATCHER 0-0CHRIS HERO 0-1CHRISTOPHER DANIELS 5 pinned TIMOTHY THATCHER 5 /w/ Last Rights * Awesome match with both men kicking out of sure pin attemps several times each. The Fallen Angel used Last Rights over and over again to wear Thatcher down and finally got the pin with that very move. * This match took a lot out of both men and may cost them in this grueling tournament. PJ BLACK 1-0CHRISTOPHER DANIELS 1-0TIMOTHY THATCHER 0-1CHRIS HERO 0-1* An exhausted Thatcher drew the short straw and has to stay in the ring....CHRIS HERO 1 pinned TIMOTHY THATCHER 6 /w/ Death Blow * Hero took advantage of the situation and beat an exhausted Thatcher rather easily. PJ BLACK 1-0CHRISTOPHER DANIELS 1-0CHRIS HERO 1-1TIMOTHY THATCHER 0-2Hero, still pretty fresh, drew his second straight, and final, match.....CHRIS HERO 2 pinned CHRISTOPHER DANIELS 6 /w/ Death Blow * Still feeling the effects of his match with Thatcher, Daniels fell to the bulldozer that is Hero. CHRIS HERO 2-1PJ BLACK 1-0CHRISTOPHER DANIELS 1-1TIMOTHY THATCHER 0-2PJ BLACK 3 pinned TIMOTHY THATCHER 8 /w/ 450 Splash * Even being totally spent Thatcher took it to Black, grounding him and almost forcing him to tap out with the Fujiwara Armbar. Black however made it back to his feet and used his speed and airily skills to get the duke. PJ BLACK 2-0CHRIS HERO 2-1CHRISTOPHER DANIELS 1-1TIMOTHY THATCHER 0-3Once again it's simple, all Black has to do is beat the Fallen Angel and he wins the bracket.
If Daniels wins it creates a vicious circle and there must be a Sudden Death triple threat match. (Black beat Hero, Hero beat Daniels and Daniels beat Black?)CHRISTOPHER DANIELS 6 pinned PJ BLACK 5 /w/ Angel Wings * The Fallen Angels was a man possessed as he just ran over the DareWolf! PJ BLACK 2-1CHRIS HERO 2-1CHRISTOPHER DANIELS 2-1TIMOTHY THATCHER 0-3Intermission.................SUDDEN DEATH TRIPLE THREAT MATCHPJ BLACK vs. CHRIS HERO vs. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS * Black hit a 450 Splash on Daniels as Hero struggled to get back in the ring.... 1.......2.......... No!!!.. Hero pulled Black out of the ring by his foot and crushed him with a Death Blow, leaving the DareWolf out cold on the floor. Daniels meanwhile was getting back to his feet just to be met by a Cyclone Kill!!! 1........2...................3!!!!! HERO WINS!!!! DELTA WINNER |

Really cool seeing Chris Hero take the bracket, but both PJ Black and Christopher Daniels had a solid showing to fall short...
