Welcome to my new Fed... Ring Of Honor Wrestling. I just got the starter box Friday morning and took some time researching the wrestlers (thanks Youtube) and factions that existed back when this game set was released. In the end I decided to start fresh, as if this is a brand new wrestling organization. That way I can set the tone of the fed the way I want it. Right now there will be no factions, although established tag teams will remain with their partners. I'm looking for the game-play to dictate feuds, factions and the direction of different angles. Code of Honor will be used as another tool to drive and enhance rivalries. As in ROH, there will be 3 championships: World Heavyweight Title, T.V. Title and Tag Team Titles.
So sit back, grab a beer and get ready for some wrestling action!

The Honor Arena Baltimore, Md
A group of reporters and a few television crews waited impatiently just inside the entrance to the newly built Honor Arena. After a few awkward moments, a smiling and well dressed man appeared.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Honor Arena. I am Nigel McGuinness and this is Ring Of Honor Wrestling! I want to thank you all for coming and would like to give you a quick tour of our new facility. Afterwards, I'll be glad to answer any and all questions."
The twenty or so media members were given a complete tour of the state-of-the-art wrestling canter.
"We have spared no expense in building this facility," Mr McGuinness stated, "...and we want nothing but the best for our athletes. We have a 3 ring training area, weight room and gym, locker room areas, as well as our one thousand seat arena used for all of our television tapings. Upstairs are our corporate offices, editing and media areas and cafeteria."
As the tour went on, Mr McGuinness guided the assembled media to the room used for press conferences. As the reporters took their seats, Mr McGuinness stepped before the podium.
"First, I'd like to read a prepared statement. We would like to welcome everybody to Ring Of Honor. We are a passionate wrestling organization that believes in independent wrestling. We have built this facility, and our organization, with one purpose in mind. Our goal is to become the home for the best independent wrestlers in the world and give them a place to showcase their incredible talents. Make no mistake, this isn't sports entertainment, but honest and true professional wrestling. We are closer in style to Japanese wrestling than to the cartoon-like entertainment you find in places like Bristol. We believe in two words: competition and opportunity. Here at ROH, our wrestlers will get both... I promise you.
We have signed twenty eight of the world's best independent wrestlers to help us build this organization and I want to thank them for their support and willingness to believe in us. Without them, we are nothing.
So, my name is Nigel McGuinness and I am the ROH Commissioner. I'd like to introduce our staff. Our broadcast team will consist of play-by-play man Kevin Kelly and color man Jim Cornette. Our referees are Paul Turner and senior referee Todd Sinclair.
Now, I'm ready to answer your questions."
With that, the press conference continued. After thirty five minutes of questions and answers, the afternoon events were concluded. As the media filed out of building, Nigel McGuinness pulled his cell phine from his jacket pocket.
"Hello. Yes mate, it's done. Yep. Now we can really get to work. Cheers."
McGuinness loosened his tie, put his phone away and walked towards his corner office. Time to get to work...

Card #1 Honor Arena Baltimore, MD
With streamers cascading into the ring from the fans and the official ROH music blasting from the speakers, Ring Of Honor Wrestling is on the air! This is the first show in ROH history and swill contain 6 opening round matches to determine the vacant ROH championship titles.
Round 1 Matches
Tag Team American Wolves vs Jacobs/Corino - This match opened with The American Wolves dominating the in-ring action. Jacobs and Corino had no answer to the Wolves wrestling ability. Finally, Jacobs and Corino decided to take the action to the floor. Corino put Eddie Edwards through the announce table with a crushing DDT. The referee tried to restore order but Corino grabbed a chair and hammered Edwards again and again! The referee had seen enough. Jacobs and Corino were disqualified!
Winner: American Wolves
T.V. Title Rhett Titus vs Adam Cole - This match was all Adam Cole as he was never seriously hurt in this match. Cole used a variety of top rope maneuvers to wear down Titus. Cole delivered successive FLORIDA KEY'S which Titus kicked out of. With the end in sight, Cole delivered his FLYING CROSSBODY to get the win!
Winner: Adam Cole
World Title Homicide vs Michael Elgin - This match ended quickly as Elgin tried to hit Homicide with an enzuigiri, which missed. Homicide grabbed Elgin, delivered a devastating piledriver which rocked Elgin. As Elgin staggered to his feet, Homicide hit him with a perfect lariat and covered him... 1, 2.... 3! Homicide wins! After the match, Elgin sat in the ring and was visibly disappointed.
Winner: Homicide
Tag Team Young Bucks vs Alexander/Coleman - In what was the best match of the evening, both teams gave everything they had. Seemingly both teams used every move in their arsenals and this match went back and forth. Twice Caprice Coleman was almost pinned, and twice Cedric Alexander made the pin save! Not to be out-done, Matt Jackson kicked out of 4 straight pin attempts! As the fans chanted "This is awesome!", The Young Bucks finally got the upper hand and delivered the MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK! The referee counted... 1, 2...3! Young Bucks win!
Winner: Young Bucks
T.V. Title Tommaso Ciampa vs Roderick Strong - In a surprise, Tommaso Ciampa stunned the crowd by eliminating Roderick Strong! After Ciampa hit Strong with a few moves, he delivered a jumping piledriver to the stunned Strong. Strong managed to climb to his feet only to be hit AGAIN with another jumping piledriver. Ciampa covered Strong and got the victory. As Ciamps tried to shake Strong's hand after the match, Strong pushed him away and a stare-down ensued. As referees and security entered the ring, both men backed away and left the ring area.
Winner: Tommaso Ciampa
World Title El Generico vs Eddie Edwards - Edwards started off slow as he was still feeling the effects of wrestling earlier in the evening. El Generico hit a number of high-flying moves which wore down Edwards. The crowd expected a Generico win after he delivered his exploder suplex into the turnbuckle to Edwards. Somehow Edwards kicked out and gained the advantage. Edwards then went on a tear as he dominated the "generic luchador" for the next few minutes. With the match turning against Generico, Edwards delivered his DIE HARD.... twice... and got the win. Both men shook hands after the match.
Winner: Eddie Edwards
With that, Ring Of Honor's first show ended. Tune in next week folks for more first round action.

Card #2 Honor Arena Baltimore, MD
A promo clip plays showing the high spots on last week's program, ending with the crowd chanting "This is Wrestling".
Music hits and the standing room only crowd cheers as ROH is on the air!
Round 1 Matches
Tag Team The Briscoe Brothers vs Cole/O'Reilly - In what was an odd beginning to a great night of wrestling, the team of Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly started off trying to "out-brawl" the Briscoe Brothers. That plan backfired as the Briscoe's were more than ready to fight. After Kyle O'Reilly delivered the Regalplex to Jay Briscoe outside the ring, the referee had no choice but to disqualify Cole and O'Reilly. After the match Adam Cole seemed upset with Kyle O'Reilly and they both jawed at each other as they left the ring area. Odd...
Winner: The Briscoe Brothers
T.V. Title Jay Lethal vs Steve Corino - This was a brutal match that saw Steve Corino break every rule in the book. Still, the "King of Old School" had no answers for Lethal. Lethal concentrated on Corino's leg by applying the figure four leglock multiple times. A worn out Corino decided to try to even the playing field by using an illegal object. Sadly for him, the referee saw it and called for the bell. Lethal won by DQ!
Winner: Jay Lethal
World Title Chris Hero vs Davey Richards - This match was all Davey Richards from the time the bell rung until the end. Hero tried to counter Richards, but Davey's wrestling skill was too much. Richards locked in the cloverleaf and kept Hero in it for a long time. When the hold was finally broken Richards used a superplex, followed by his finisher... the ANKLE LOCK! Hero eventually tapped out giving Richards a solid victory.
Winner: Davey Richards
Tag Team World's Greatest Tag Team vs Elgin/Rhino - This match further fed the rumors that there is something wrong with Elgin. Haas and Benjamin used quick tags and high impact moves to stagger Elgin. Elgin couldn't get any offense going and took everything Haas and Benjamin dished out. Benjamin finally ended it with his PAYDIRT finisher to get the win. Rhino was furious that he never got into the match! Elgin tried to explain, but Rhino was hearing none of it and left Elgin standing alone in the ring.
Winner: World's Greatest Tag Team
T.V. Title Kyle O'Reilly vs Mike Bennett (with Maria and Brutal Bob) - O'Reilly came out with something to prove in this match as he dominated Mike Bennett. After hitting triple butterfly suplexes, O'Reilly went for the cover. Maria then distracted the referee (as only she can). That gave Bennett time to kick out of the pin! Moments later, after an O'Reilly brainbuster and pin, Brutal Bob distracted the referee allowing Bennett to kick out again! Finally, O'Reilly applied the GUILLOTINE CHOKE and Bennett tapped out! Wow, what an upset!
Winner: Kyle O'Reilly
World Title Kevin Steen vs Cedric Alexander - In the night's last match, both wrestlers showed why they were in the tournament in the first place. This was a highly competitive match that had the fans chanting "Holy Shit" a number of times. Cedric hit Steen with every move including a full nelson facebuster, springboard clothesline and his Sky Fall Frog Splash. The match changed when Alexander missed an elbow drop from the top rope. Steen then took advantage and delivered a powerbomb onto the ring apron! Frustrated, Alexander grabbed Steen and ran his head into the ring post earning him a disqualification. Steen survived!
Winner: Kevin Steen
So after the end of the first round, these are your semi-final matchups:
World Heavyweight Title - Semi-Finals Homicide vs Eddie Edwards Davey Richards vs Kevin Steen
World T.V. Title - Semi-Finals Adam Cole vs Tommaso Ciampa Jay Lethal vs Kyle O'Reilly
World Tag Team Title - Semi-Finals The American Wolves vs The Young Bucks The Briscoe Brothers vs World's Greatest Tag Team
That's it from Charm City folks. Tune in next week for ROH action!

Card #3 Honor Arena Baltimore, MD
Semi-Final Matches
Tag Team American Wolves vs The Young Bucks - The American Wolves used quick tags to keep Nick Jackson isolated and in trouble from the start. Davey Richards used his multiple suplex assault, followed by kicked to death to hurt Nick early. After the tag, Edwards continued the assault with his belly to back sit-out facebuster and a missile dropkick. At that point, Nick was busted open and was in real trouble! Richards tagged in and worked Nick over with a superplex. As the final tag was made, Edwards hit with his DIE HARD to seal the victory! Matt Jackson couldn't stop the pin and never got into this match.
Winner: American Wolves
T.V. Title Jay Lethal vs Kyle O'Reilly - Using a new-found aggressiveness, O'Reilly attacked Lethal from the opening bell. Lethal struggled to get any momentum going as O'Reilly hit Lethal with triple butterfly suplexes, a Regalplex and a flying dropkick to Lethal as he was seated on the mat. O'Reilly quickly slapped on the GUILLOTINE CHOKE, but Lethal broke the hold. O'Reilly applied the submission hold again and again Lethal broke free. As Lethal got to his feet, O'Reilly delivered more triple butterfly suplexes, applied the GUILLOTINE CHOKE for the third time. This time, Lethal tapped out! What a stunning upset. Kyle O'Reilly will wrestle for the T.V. Title at the next ppv... WINNER TAKE ALL! Wow!
Winner: Kyle O'Reilly
Tag Team The Briscoe Brothers vs World's Greatest Tag Team - This was an instant classic and by far the best match of the tournament so far! The match started with Haas and Benjamin dominating the early going. Jay Briscoe took the brunt of the damage and worked hard to stay in the match. Finally he tagged in his brother Mark and the momentum changed. Both teams used high impact moves to try to gain the advantage and before long all four men were busted wide open, but neither team could put away the other. As the intensity built, each team used EVEY FINISHER the knew.... multiple times! At one point Shelton Benjamin kicked out (in 3 straight pin attempts) of the DOUBLE FOOTBALL TACKLE, DUAL SUPER KICKS and the DOOMSDAY DEVICE! Not to be out done, Jay Briscoe kicked out of 3 separate PAYDIRT finishers from Shelton Benjamin! In total, both teams kicked out of pin attempts a total of 21 times! The crowd chanted "This is awesome, this is awesome" til they were hoarse. Finally, Bejamin and Haas delivered their LEAP OF FAITH finisher and the referee counted 1, 2...............3! The World's Greatest Tag Team eliminated the Briscoe Brothers.
After the match, the entire locker room emptied onto the entrance way and gave both teams a standing ovation. All four men in the ring were spent, but staggered to their feet and shook hands. This was a hard fought victory and both teams gained a new respect for each other.
Winner: The World's Greatest Tag Team
T.V. Title Adam Cole vs Tommaso Ciampo - In sort of a let down, this match was one sided and over early. Tommaso Ciampo dominated this match from start to finish, using his running knee strike to stun Adam Cole. After delivering 4 straight running knees in the corner, Ciampo made the pin cover. 1, 2......3! Adam Cold was eliminated and Ciampo will go on to face Kyle O'Reilly for the World T.V. Title.
Winner: Tommaso Ciampo
World Title Homicide vs Eddie Edwards - This was a classic match between wrestler and brawler. Homicide tried to keep Edwards "grounded" by using high impact strikes and keeping the action on the floor outside the ring. Edwards seemingly countered everything and frustration got to Homicide. With the referee momentarily distracted, Homicide used his fork to open up Edwards. Fortunately, the referee saw the infraction and called for the bell. Homicide was disqualified! Eddie Edwards will wrestle for both the World Title and the Tag Team Title!
Winner: Eddie Edwards
World Title Kevin Steen vs Davey Richards - "Wrestling's Worst Nightmare" met his worst nightmare... a focused Davey Richards. Richards used suplexes and quick, devastating kicks to wear down Steen. After Richards delivered a superplex to Steen, he locked in the Cloverleaf and almost got the win. After Steen broke the hold, Richards almost "kicked Steen to death" with 14 straight kicks. Steen was rocked and was staggering when Richards hit Steen with a multiple suplex assault. Richards covered Steen... 1, 2.... 3! Davey Richards will face his tag team partner for the ROH World Heavyweight Title! Wow!
Winner: Davey Richards
What a night! What a card! In 2 weeks at our first ppv, WINNER TAKE ALL, we will see the crowning of our 3 world titles. Here are the finalists:
World Tag Team Title Match The American Wolves vs The World's Greatest Tag Team
World T.V. Title Match Kyle O'Reilly vs Tommaso Ciampa
