Episode #20 Marchesa Hall & Theater; Austin TX (Airdate: 16 May 2013) ....We fade up on Brandon Stroud and Eamon Patton....They run down the Bullet Club's attack on Lance Hoyt and AJ Styles' challenge from last week....They update Hoyt's injury status that doctors are holding Hoyt out of any action until 'Reach For The Heavens' in about four weeks....In fact, Lance is not allowed in the building until then to prevent any further escalation between him and the Bullet Club....
....Brandon and Eamon announce our first two participants for the RFTH Ladder Match as Cedric Alexander and Silas Young....Those two are seemingly headed to a potential feud over allegations that Silas is really a plant for the Bullet Club....They run down tonight's card with the Young Bucks facing the Fighting Taylor Boyz in Match #2 of their Series to determine a challenger for the Beaver Boys and the Inspire Pro tag titles....And the Main Event featuring Styles versus Ricochet....--Our first match features the ladies of the IP XX Division as Jessica James, Delilah Doom, and Athena faced off in a 1-Fall Triple Threat Match. Delilah and Athena went at each other with reckless abandon while Jessica broke up several nearfall attempts by the two. The finish came as Athena dropped Delilah with a springboard DDT, Jessica caught Athena with the JJ KICK for the pinfall. ....We come back from commercial as Brandon and Eamon run down the Team Veda versus DMF feud....Raymond Rowe of War Machine is the last male wrestler to be undefeated in singles action with 3 or more matches....The powers that be have stated if Rowe beats Benett Cole in our next match, Rowe will go on to RFTH to face Inspire Pro champion, Andy Dalton....--Knowing that win secured a title shot, Raymond Rowe went after Benett Cole from the start. Dark Menace kept his charge in the match but couldn't stop the inevitable. Rowe wins with his 2nd DEATH ROWE of the match. Andy Dalton comes out as he goes nose-to-nose with Rowe before security can get in between them. ....We come back from the break going backstage where Cedric Alexander and Silas Young are brawling....Security arrives to break up the melee and escorts Silas out of the video frame....Cedric turns around ring into a double superkick by the Young Bucks that sends Cedric careening face first into a wall....The Bucks wink at someone off camera before we go to ringside for their match....--Up next is Match #2 between the Young Bucks and the Fighting Taylor Boyz to determine the next challengers for the Beaver Boys. Match #1 ended in a TIME LIMIT DRAW and this match promises the same drama from the last match. This match started much the same their first match until Ryan Taylor got trapped in the Bucks corner. The Bucks beat on Ryan for a good 10-minutes but couldn't get the pinfall. The super-tough Ryan Taylor was able to get a should up after the Bucks hit MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK. Somehow, Ryan is able to make the tag to Chuck who drops both Bucks with a somersault suicide dive. Back in the ring, Chuck hits Nick with AWFUL WAFFLE to get the pinfall and go up 1-0-1 in the Series. --We come back from break for our Main Event between AJ Styles and Ricochet as Brandon and Eamon run down the last time these two met in the ring. AJ needs this match to stay near the top of the Inspire Pro rankings. Ricochet comes out on fire and lands an early CHOCOLATE RAIN for a nearfall. AJ weathers the storm and gains control after Ricochet crashes and burns after attempting the 630 SENTON. AJ pounces on the downed Ricochet, hits several discus lariats before dropping Ricochet with the STYLES CLASH for the finish. ....We fade as AJ grabs the house mike, telling the crowd he hasn't heard from Lance yet about his 'RFTH' challenge match....AJ implies that Lance is a coward as we....
....fade to black....

Rowe is having himself an excellent run... Still, he's going to rally be at the top of his game if he wants to walk out of Reach for the Heavens with the big prize... Some tough hombres going into that contest...
Following the Cedric Alexander - Silas Young situation has led me to a bit of speculation... Although I HIGHLY DOUBT that Young is a plant for The Bullet Club, I'm thinking there is SOMEONE secretly working with AJ and The Bucks (and I've got my thoughts on who it might be)...
Unfortunate that Ricochet could not capitalize after being granted such a big main event opportunity... But, great job by The Phenomenal One on scoring an important victory...
Entertaining stuff!

I really like Rowe's chances against the champ. Regardless it should be an excellent match up and hopefully just the beginning of what could be a great feud.
Silas is in a no win situation, I am also in the camp that Silas want's nothing to do with the Bullet Club but at the same time with all the accusations being tossed around by Alexander I am sure he isn't upset he got invited to the superkick party!!
Ricochet vs. Styles a true Independent wrestling DREAM Match! great win for Styles but something tells me we will see Ricochet again
As always top notch action in the IP it NEVER disappoints

Episode #21 Marchesa Hall & Theater; Austin TX (Airdate: 23 May 2013) ....We fade up on Brandon Stroud and Eamon Patton as they quickly run down the card before going straight to the ring....
....Silas Young has the house mike and disputes the accusations that Cedric Alexander made against him....He has a message from Lance Hoyt who is recovering at home....Lance accepts the challenge of AJ Styles and will runs Styles out of Inspire Pro....Silas tells the crowd and those watching at home that he will have Lance's back during the match and that's more than Cedric can say....--We come back from the break for our opener with Silas Young still in the ring as he faces Nick Madrid. Total squash by Silas as he hits Last Real Man Lariat and the PEE GEE WAJA PLUNGE for along nearfall. Shortly after, Silas nearly breaks Nick's back with a backbreaker for the finish. --Our next matchup saw Tommy End take on Rich Swann. Tommy showed a rougher side than in previous matches he's had in Inspire Pro. Tommy controls early and hits consecutive vertical drop brainbusters before dumping Swann to the floor. An obviously upset Rich Swann fires back and squashes Tommy with a Leap From Swann Pond to the outside. However, Tommy weathered the storm and caught Rich with a Elohim Combination to pick up the win. ....We come back from the break as Brandon and Eamon have Ricky Starks and Pinkie Sanchez at ringside....Brandon asks Ricky if he has entered the 'RFTH' ladder match but Ricky wouldn't dream of entering a match like that....Eamon looks at Ricky funny and tells him his name is on the list along with Cedric Alexander, Silas Young, and Steve O'Reno's....Ricky blows a gasket and throws a tantrum at ringside but doesn't see The O'ReinO's come up from behind....They toss Ricky and Pinkie into the ring and we have our next match....-- The O'ReinO's get the better of Ricky Starks/Pinkie Sanchez at the beginning of the match due to their surprise entrance. Pinkie takes a beating before Steve Corino throws Pinkie into Ricky who wasn't paying attention. The referee deems it a legal tag but Ricky refuses to get in the ring before Corino drag him in by his hair. A quick tag to Steve O'Reno and Steve'O immediately goes after the pink bath robe that Ricky has been wearing to cover up the ballerina tutu. Steve'O strips the bath robe off Ricky as Ricky throws a tantrum. O'Reno plays to the crowd but Ricky sneak up behind him and chokes him out with the cloth belt from the robe. The referee has his hands full with Pinkie and Corino and doesn't see Ricky low-blow O'Reno. Ricky drops O'Reno with the BUSTER KEATON for the finish. --We come back from commercial break for our Main Event as the Beaver Boys defend the Inspire Pro tag titles against the Bravados Brothers. The champs seemed to take their challengers lightly in the beginning at it was all Bravados in the early going. The Bravados score a huge nearfall with GENTLEMEN'S APPROACH but this seemed to wake the Beaver Boys up as the champs dominate from that point. A few minutes of action later and the Beaver Boys hit Lancelot with DOUBLE PENTRATION for the finish to retain the belts. ....War Machine stroll out to the top of the ramp as the Beaver Boys celebrate their win....Rowe and Hanson make the belt motion as we....
....fade to black....

I'm a big fan of Tommy End, so it was really cool seeing him pick up the win against Rich Swann...
Ricky Starks is definitely the highlight of the show, in my eyes... Your use of him continues to be right on the money (as far as I can tell from I've watched)... His tantrums and underhanded shenanigans make him one of the best characters in Inspire Pro...
The Beaver Boys did a great job holding onto the tag straps, but how will they fare against a team like War Machine? Might not be pretty, to say the least...
Really looking forward to RftH... Styles vs. Hoyt has Match of the Year potential... And what's really going on in the minds of Cedric Alexnader and Silas Young?
Gonna be fan-SNAPPING-tastic!

Episode #22 Marchesa Hall & Theater; Austin TX (Airdate: 30 May 2013) ....We fade up on Brandon Stroud and Eamon Patton at ringside....Tonight is Match #3 of the Fighting Taylor Boyz/Young Bucks Series as the winner goes on the face the Beaver Boys at 'RFTH' in two weeks....They pitch it to a video detailing the Leva Bates/Angelus Layne math from three weeks ago where Leva saved her title by walking out on the match....Tonight's Main Event sees the rematch....--We come back from break for our opening bout as Barbi Hayden returns to action after being injured by Angelus Layne about six weeks ago. Barbi faces Delilah Doom and looks rusty to start. After Delilah got a brief spurt of offense, Barbi caught Delilah with a swinging neckbreaker coming off the ropes to gain full control. Shortly after, Barbi hits the HAYDEN HALO for the finish. During the match, Brandon announced that Barbi is the first female entered in the 'RFTH' ladder match and suspects there will be one more entered after tonight as well. --Our next match featured Cedric Alexander taking on Steve Corino in an excellent bout. The two traded move after move with Cedric kicking out of nearfalls after Corino's OLD SCHOOL LARIAT and Old School Explusion while Steve was able to overcome Cedric's KICK 2 KILL PART II and a backbreaker on the turnbuckle. As the two continued to battle, Ricky Starks rolled out from underneath the ring to distract Corino. However, Cedric was having none of that as he grabbed Ricky by the ear and marched him down the rampway and told him to stay put! Back in the ring, Corino missed a turnbuckle charge and Cedric landed the LUMBAR CHECK to secure the win. The two shook hands afterwards. ....We come back from the break with taped comments from both Andy Dalton and his challenger, Raymond Rowe about retaining/winning the Inspire Pro championship....We come back to a shouting match with Dark Menace and Veda Scott at ringside....Brandon and Eamon do their best to move the show along but ultimately give up....
....The duo keep trying to talk over each other until it becomes a shouting match....Finally, AJ Styles sans the Bullet Club steps out to interrupt things....AJ says it doesn't matter who wins between Dalton/Rowe at 'RFTH'....The belt will come back to him where it belongs....One of Menace's minions steps out as Rocky Reynolds confronts AJ....Rocky questions AJ's toughness as AJ asks him if he's willing to find out right now....--We get a bonus match but it didn't last long as AJ Styles channels an aggression that dominates Rocky Reynolds. The STYLES CLASH ends it in under 3-minutes. --We come back from the break for the third and final match of the Fighting Taylor Boyz/Young Bucks Best of 3 Series as the Bucks have to win this match to even the series. IP officials have stated if the Bucks win this match and even the series at 1-1-1, the tag title match at 'RFTH' will be a Triple Threat match. The Bucks came out and wrestled like they had to have this match. They isolated Ryan Taylor early and pounded on him for nearly 5-minutes, racking up 5 tokens in the process. Eventually, Chuck Taylor gets tagged in but he doesn't fair any better. MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK on Chuck ends this match in under 10-minutes to tie the seris at 1-1-1. --Time for our Main Event for the Inspire Pro XX title as champion, Leva Bates defends against Angelus Layne. Angelus was clearly the aggressor in this match and had Leva on her heels. Leva barely gets out of VICTORY LAYNE and Bing Bang Boom before deciding she was done. However, Angelus has other ideas and brought Leva back to the ring. However, Leva would post Angelus twice and drop her with a Super Hero Kick on the outside. Leva grabbed a chair, setting it up on top of Angelus, and would sit on her. Leva quickly rolls back in at the count of 9 to win the match by COUNT-OUT, grabs the belt, and high-tails it to the back. Angelus was irate as the credits roll, announcing that she was entering the 'RFTH' ladder match, and looking for a rematch as we.... ....fade to black....

Superb performance by The Bucks, setting up a three-way dance for the tag straps at RftH... Expecting that match might very well steal the show!

The match saw Jessica take a ton of punishment from both Athena and Kimber. Kimber devastates Jessica with YOSHI TONIC before turning her sights to Athena. Soon, Kimber hauls Athena up for the YOSHI TONIC but somehow Jessica made the save! In an awesome sequence, Kimber hits both Athena and Jessica with a top rope missile dropkick as both ladies were getting to their feet! Kimber tosses Jessica to the floor and hits Athena with another YOSHI TONIC to pick up the win and the title shot. ....We come back from the break with a video of Pinkie Sanchez training Ricky Starks for the 'RFTH' ladder match....Ricky claims he is afraid of heights and can't climb the ladder while Pinkie cheers him on with 'Yes, You Can' chants....Finally, Ricky reaches the top of the ladder and we get treated to Ricky posing as Survivor's 'Eye of the Tiger' plays in the background....--Our next 'TTT' match featured the tag team division as the Bravado Brothers faced PPRay and the Inner City Machine Guns. PPRay are the odd team out as both the Bravados and ICMG take turns beating up Ray Rosas and Peter Avalon. Ricochet goes up top and hits Rosas with the 630 SENTON but Harlem Bravado tags himself in before the 3-count can be made. Ricochet doesn't like it and eats a bicycle kick from Harlem, sending him to the floor. The Bravados hit Rosas with GENTLEMEN'S AGREEMENT for the finish. ....Back from the break as Brandon Stroud announces that the Bravados versus Inner City Machine Guns has just been added to the 'RFTH' card....Brandon brings out Cedric Alexander and wants to know how Cedric knows that Silas Young will stab Lance Hoyt in the back....Cedric claims Silas is a shady character and will stop at nothing to further his own goals....Silas comes to ringside and a pushing and shouting match ensues....Security separates the two but not before, Silas drops Cedric with a big right hand....--The Main Event featured Rex Havoc vs Michael Kai Rayne vs Rhino as this one looked like a slugfest on paper. The trio didn't disappoint as Havoc and Rayne went after each other with gusto and Rhino was left to break up pinfall attempts. Rhino ended up breaking up 5 pinfalls total before hitting Havoc with GORE! to win the match. As the credits started rolling, MK Rayne attacked the downed Rex Havoc, hitting his foe with the RAYNE OF PAIN. Dark Menace grabs the house mike, saying this is what happens when you mess with DMF. ....Fade....

Reach for the Heaven's event is going to be tremendous, dare I say Independent show of the year possibilities without question. The build up to this event has been top notch and this last card is no exception. Huge win for Kimber Lee (as you know I am a HUGE fan of hers). Bravado's and Rhino with tremendous victories, and the Cedric/Silas story line dynamic continues to build to what I am sure will be a tremendous pay off!
Have to say as a man not to found of heights himself, segment of the show for me was Ricky Stark's conquering his fear..I had a Rocky IV music montage going on in my head...first the ladder, next the WORLD for "THE CONQUER OF FEAR" Ricky Stark's
This promotion continues to raise the bar with no looks of slowing down...GREAT stuff

Episode #24: 'REACH FOR THE HEAVENS' PREVIEW MAIN EVENT: AJ Styles vs Lance Hoyt: This match sets the tone for the rest of Season #1. If AJ wins, then Lance has to join the Bullet Club as a Pledge. If this happens, Lance will become a BC lackey and will have to do their bidding. This would give BC a huge advantage over the rest of the male roster and could lead to BC gaining both the heavyweight and tag team titles before the end of the season. If Lance wins, then AJ has to leave Inspire Pro altogether. This would leave the Bullet Club without a leader and could see infighting between current members to determine a new leader. Of course, Lance could step in as the leader under this scenario or someone outside of IP could enter the scene as well. 'Reach For The Heavens' Ladder Match: Ricky Starks vs Steve O'Reno vs Angelus Layne vs Barbi Hayden vs Cedric Alexander vs Silas Young vs Tommy End: This match could steal the show with the winner getting a title shot against any titleholder before the end of Season 1. Each of the rival pair has promised to take the other out and gives Tommy End a distinct advantage over the other six since he doesn't have a rival in the match. The Alexander vs Young feud should continue to build and spill over in this match. Angelus Layne has gone on record that when....not if....she wins, she will challenge for the IP title. Inspire Pro Championship: Andy Dalton (c) vs Raymond Rowe: Andy Dalton won the title back on March 28th and this is his second title defense. Dalton has a big advantage in his corner with Dark Menace promising he will do everything in his power to ensure Dalton walks out with the title. Raymond Rowe has quietly amassed an impressive singles record to go along with his tag team resume. Rowe is the last IP male wrestler to have an unbeaten singles record that stands at 4-0. Veda Scott will be in Rowe's corner to offset Dark Menace and this match is a toss-up according to the Vegas line. Inspire Pro Tag Team Championship: Beaver Boys (c) vs Young Bucks vs Fighting Taylor Boyz: The Bucks and the Taylors' fought to a 1-1-1 draw in their series to determine the next challengers for the tag team champs. The Bucks nor the Taylors' have the best records in the promotion but their matches were exciting with the series draw earning a nod to MOTY candidate. The Beaver Boys won the tag titles back on April 18th after winning them in the tag title tournament. This will be their 3rd title defense and they have quietly amassed an impressive 7-0 record during their stay in IP. This match will be fought under 'Single Pinfall/Submission Rules' where the 1st pinfall/submission ends the match. The match will continue if one team gets disqualified or counted out. Grudge Match: Inner City Machine Guns vs The Bravados: This match was booked last week after the Bravados stole a win from ICMG during their Triple Threat Match that also involved PPRay. In somewhat of a surprise, ICMG have yet to get a win in IP competition. They have vowed to beat the Bravados and prove they are the better team. Grudge Match: Rex Havoc vs Michael Kai Rayne: Rex isn't having th best of luck against DMF as they have injured him twice in the last five months. This will be a Team Veda vs DMF match-up and promises to be a hard-hitting bout. Rex will find that MKR is a tough customer but MKR will have his hands full with Rex.
