Jim Cornette is standing in the centre of the ring, flanked by 'Loverboy' Dennis Condrey and 'Beautiful' Bobby Eaton. The crowd reign down with a chorus of boos and Cornette soaks it all in, smug grin n all..

Jim Cornette: Commissioner? 

Cornette: "I told you! I told you all that I'd take down that no-good Roddy Piper and send him back to the welfare line and now I stand here as YOUR Commissioner of HBWA wrestling! (Turning to Condrey and Eaton) Drink it in, boys- Daddy's home and it's time to get our house in order! So tonight, my first piece of business is to...

Suddenly, a very familiar piece of music blares over the tinny P.A system which causes Cornette and co to stop in their tracks and look to the entrance ramp. The crowd roar with delight and bemusement as Hollywood 'Superstar' Don Johnson makes his way down the ramp with a mic in his hand:

Johnson: "Corny, there's something that you've been ignoring, isn't there? Yeah, that's right buddy- you may think you're the Commissioner, but I am the owner of HBWA Wrasslin' and I decide what goes down and when it goes down! Now, we all saw how you put Roddy Piper's lights out to win that match, a match I add where you weren't even the legal man when you got the pin! So I've got news for you, player- you're indefinably suspended from your duties here at HB-Dubya!

Cornette: "Johnson, you can't, you wha-"

Johnson: "Shut your cake hole, Corn-Cob! And that's not all; for their involvement in the whole misdemeanor, 'Loverboy,' 'Beautiful Bobby,' you're going home too! Get out of my ring! Adios! Book em, Dano!"

Cornette: "Dano? You've got the wrong show! You can't do this!"

Johnson: "Wrong show? It's MY show. And from now on, this is HBWA- Vice! Like Miami Vice, y'know, that show that I am a huge star in!" So scedaddle, losers. You're outta here and until I can figure out what to do next, or when I get another job, I'm taking over the reigns of this operation."

Cornette: "You can't to this! I'm going to speak to my attorney, you ain't heard the last of this!"

Johnson "SECURITY! Get these losers outta here! And, What about it, Tubbs? When do I get the grand tour of the Big Apple?!"

Cornette: "Wha?! You're nuts, you're.....mmph, argh! Unhand me! Get off of me!"

Don Johnson: HBWA 'Vice?'

1. After the totally insane opening to the show, the crowd are hot for the opening match up, which is announced as a Heavyweight Title #1 Contender match. Former Champion John Tolos makes his way to the ring with his manager, Jimmy Hart. Tolos looks all business as the ringside fans shout obscenities at him and pelt him for Coke cups and cigarette butts. His opponent is the popular 'Exotic' Adrian Street, who as always struts and prances his way to the ring with his ever-present valet, Miss Linda. The action is hot and heavy and it's Tolos who takes control early, nearly scoring a submission victory with a Boston Crab. Street uses all his tricks to stay at arm's length and with Miss Linda neutralizing the risk of Hart and ringside, scores a victory out of nowehere with a crucifix pinfall. Somewhat of an upset as Street moves closer to being the #1 contender to Harley Race's title.
Winner: 'Exotic' Adrian Street

2. 'Leaping' Lanny Poffo has been up and down as of late, and tonight he faces Johnny Rodz, who recently had a two match winning streak ended by Poffo in a six man tag match. Well, it's the same story tonight as the supremely supple Poffo makes short work of Rodz- finishing him off with the Sky Drop. Poffo does a backflip the celebrate and splits his tights in the process....

3. Two heavy hitters are in the ring next, hoping to become the #1 Contender to Race's title as Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine squares off against the double-tough Terry Gordy. The winner will face off against Adrian Street in tonight's Main Event. Valentine and Gordy take the fight to the outside as they brawl up and down the entrance ramp, throwing bombs all the way. Gordy out muscles Valentine, but he can't keep him down. Gordy misses a corner charge and Valentine capitalises by dropping an elbow.
The ref appears to count a fast three and Valentine advances to face Street. Gordy is fuming, but he just couldn't get the job done.
Winner: Greg 'The Hammer' Valentine

4. It's tag action next as the stalling Love Brothers take on the team of Koko B. Ware and SD Jones. The Loves lost an important match against the Wyld Studz last time out and need a victory to keep in the hunt for the tag title, so who better to face than Ware and Jones, who aren't exactly top of the leader board. With their mystical Yogi Mike Love chanting mantras at ringside, Reginald and Hartford Love combine with a double sledge on the hapless Jones to score a telling victory in less than five minutes. On a side note, Koko B. Ware debuted his new mascot, 'Crow' who clung to Ware's shoulder for dear life as 'The Birdman' danced his way to the ring.

5. There's a debut in the studio tonight as cocky youngster Doug Gilbert takes on everyone's favourite Texan line-dancer, Sam Houston. If Gilbert was expecting a cakewalk for his debut (for example, taking on George South or Mr X,) he's out of luck as Houston uses his quick feet and long limbs to leave Gilbert frustrated. Gilbert nearly gets DQ'd for shoving the referee, but the match ended pretty soon afterwards anyway as Houston hits the bulldog for the victory. Houston does a little two-step to celebrate as some toothless hags in the front row scream with delight as their hero shimmies past them down the ramp. Ye-haw!
Winner: Sam Houston

Backstage, the Wyld Studz (Randy Rose & Marty Jannetty) are being interviewed before their upcoming Tag Team Title opportunity against the dominant Champions, the Road Warriors:

Rose: "Whoah Marty, it's the biggest night of our lives because tonight we get to take those tag team straps from those leather clad loverboys, the Road Warriors! Are you ready, partner?"

Jannetty: "Randy- I was born ready, brother. We've been rockin' n rollin' from Maine to Spain and back again! We're back, Jack and ready to attack!"

Both: "LET'S ROCK! WHOOO!"

6. Tugboat Taylor has recently captured the Television Title in what can be considered a major shock. Tonight, he teams with his glossy-haired son, Chaz against the team of 'Superstar' Bill Dundee and Buff Bagwell. Chaz has had his problems with Dundee and everyone has had a problem with Bagwell because he is Buff Bagwell. Early on, it's the tandem of Dundee and Bagwell who take charge, punishing the inexperienced junior Taylor. Chaz is struggling and Dundee is enjoying dishing out some cruel punishment. Bagwell wants in and his cockiness infuriates the crowd and Poppa Taylor on the apron, who wants in and wants in BAD! Bagwell whiffs on a knee drop and Chaz makes the hot take to Tug who cleans house. Dundee goes flying over the top rope and Bagwell is man-handled. Dundee refuses Bagwell's outstretched hands and exits the ring area, leaving Bagwell to take a two on one beating. An Anchor Drop finishes as the crowd enjoy seeing 'Buffy' get humiliated.
Winners: Tugboat & Chaz Taylor

7. It's time for some popcorn and a Coke so out comes Cousin Luke, accompanied by his mangy pet bear, Victor. The gormless Hillbilly slams and stomps along to his entrance music whilst Victor lurches around on his hind legs, letting out a painful wail as Luke applauds the spectacle. Tonight, Luke takes on the mean Mad Dog Vachon. Uh-oh, Luke is gonna take a beating! Well, you'd think so and it certainly looks that way in the opening moments and the vile-smelling resident of Hog Waller, TN clowns around aimlessly whilst Mad Dog puts the boots in. It's one-way traffic until Victor pops up with an unlikely assist. As Mad Dog takes the assault to the outside, he gets too close to the flea-ridden ursine who swipes a big paw and makes contact on Mad Dog's bald skull. Vachon is out cold! Luke stumbles back in to the ring to beat the ten-count, completely unaware that he's picked up the victory thanks to Victor. Let's hope he treats his bear friend to a garbage bag full of takeaway leftovers as a reward.
Winner: Cousin Luke

8.  Greg Valentine and Adrian Street face off to determine the #1 Contender to Harley Race's Heavyweight Title. Some might say that both were lucky to get here, having knocked of Terry Gordy and John Tolos respectively. Valentine and Street also engaged in a heated feud a while back over the Television Title. With both men tired from their exploits earlier in the evening, it's hardly a display of Admiral-Lord Moutevans rules and more of a fist fight, with both men not giving an inch. Valentine is knocking lumps out of Street, but the glamourous Welsh grappler won't go down. In fact, it's Street who takes control, hitting a huge corner splash which rocks Valentine. 'The Hammer' never recovers and Street scores the victory with a roll up- assisted by a handful of tights. A huge and popular victory.
Winner: 'Exotic' Adrian Street (#1 Contender)

Adrian Street & Miss Linda: Next Champion?

9. It's Main Event time as Don Johnson is back out, whipping the crowd up into a frenzy! Challengers the Wyld Studz race to the ring, a vision of day-glo, headbands and streamers- there soft perms bobbing from left to right as the push their way through the excited crowd. The Champions by contrast stride dominantly to the ring to the sound of Black Sabbath's Iron Man. The Road Warriors look imposing and mean business. The action that unfolds not shocks not only the crowd in attendance, but the wrestling World as Jannetty and Rose completely control Hawk and Animal from start to finish. The Roadies just can't handle the hot pace and they look sluggish and neanderthal in comparison to the hot Studz.  Animal swats at Jannetty, but the former Rocker flips and flies and rocks Animal with a beautiful superkick. Hawk doesn't fare much better and despite downing Rose with a flying shoulder tackle, he is floored by a double drop kick. A slingshot splash gets two before the Road Warriors rally briefly. The crowd are open mouthed as they watch Hawk & Animal completely dissected in front of their eyes. What's come over the Wyld Studz? Perhaps all their partying antics was a clever smokescreen for all their hard work in the gym and homework on the road? A Cough Drop nearly gets the pinfall, but a Rockoer Dropper on Hawk does and we have NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! The Wyld Studz have done it! It's taken them over two years, but they've finally captured the big one. There's gonna be some party backstage tonight, and you're all invited!

A takeover by Don Johnson - HBWA Vice - I love it! The banter between him and Jim Cornette was great and I could just see Cornette's blood pressure rising throughout. The Wyld Studz over the Road Warriors for the tag titles - Holy Cow! I never saw that coming and I guess nobody else did either. Party time! Speaking of partying, I'm ecstatic that Exotic Adrian Street has earned the top contenders spot to Harley Race. It won't be easy beating Race for the gold but here's hoping the "Exotic One" can do the unthinkable. After all, the Road Warriors lost to the Wyld Studz...

Cheers for the comments TTX , Pariah & cruefan68 . We actually rolled this card a month ago, but things got in the way. I always worry that folks may think I make results up, but the Wyld Studz genuinely did destroy the Road Warriors in a very one-sided match. I'm scared that a rematch will be a total annihilation the other way though!

I know Kat Rana is busy writing up the next installment of FP-Dub and she doesn't even share it with me until it's up on the boards. Even though we roll all our matches together, we never share what we are going to write.

I had that happen once long ago when I teamed Gorgeous George and Buddy Rose...not only did they destroy the Roadies, but Rose was doing most of the dominating....still one of my favorite results to this day.

I do love a good upset. The Road Warriors are 24-4 in my game (I've only used the colour cards) and have only been pinned once before they faced the Studz. I've still never used Gorgeous George, but I do like the pairing with Buddy Rose. Rose got all the way to the semi finals of my NWA Heavyweight tourny a couple of years ago, knocking out Brody and Race on the way before eventually losing to Tommy Rich. I'd love to see an updated card for him though that is perhaps a little bit stronger. He had a main event career in the territories.

Don Johnson reveals himself (so to speak) as the owner and fires Cornette as well as The Midnight Express - in the words of Pariah - Holy Snap!

Gotta wonder just how Corny & Co will retaliate - whether legally or otherwise, says the limit with that twisted mind.

Totally dug Cousin Luke's, Greg Valentine's and Exotic Adrian Streets triumphs - especially with Street securing the number one contenders spot!!

You have had some upsets lately but Wyld Studs completely taking apart the Road Warriors to capture the tag titles has gotta be the creme de la creme.

All this - and not to mention an assist by Victor everybody's favorite mangy bear and a pair of toothless cheering hags. (Although I did just mention it - strange saying I guess right?).

Anywho - the fact that you and Kat Rana only see the write ups once they are posted are just as supremely cool that you both roll out all the matches together.

Awful quiet from Hillbilly Jim's shack...I'm getting even more nervous.

Fist Pump Wrestling presents: Friday Night Fist Pump   

"Oh! It’s hot, hot, hotter than hell!”  

As the audience files into the building, the big screen shows Mike Graham lying in his hospital bed, covered in plaster casts from head to toe and with his jaw seemingly wired shut.

Mike is recuperating from the injuries he suffered at the hands of Frank Gotch, William Muldoon and Ed and Evan Strangler Lewis, after The Chests won the FPW Tag Team Championship last week. Bob Armstrong, is just finishing up visiting his tag team partner, “Get some sleep, Mike – I need you pumped up again soon to defend our Tag Team Championship!” Mike writes a reply on a notepad: “Can’t wait to get on that chest expander again! Just as soon as my ribs heal up… Who are you tagging with tonight?” Bob thinks for a second, “Well gee, I hadn’t thought about that. That group of old fossils challenged us to a match and we’re damn well gonna give ‘em one! I’ll give Bradley a call, he’s not a patch on you but he’ll have to do for tonight.” Mike struggles and manages to raise a ‘thumbs up’ for his partner.

Frank Dalton stomps to the ring, flanked by the leather-clad, stiletto-toed, giant-haired Daltonettes, Peaches and Pearl. Female fans scream and race to the front in a huge wave, drawn by the pure animal magnetism of Dalton. Pearl flicks a cigarette butt into the crowd as Peaches plants a kiss on Dalton’s cheek. Already in the ring, Rusty Brooks is pointing at the crowd and yelling something about being “just a step away” from the top. It’s a short match but a hot one. After locking up, Brooks tries a few punches but his more agile opponent evades his offence. Dalton removes his left boot, whirls it around by the laces and smashes Rusty in the face, knocking Denton’s finest to the canvas. Clutching his head and roaring, Brooks pops back up to his feet and prepares to launch a devastating Rusty Bomb. Peaches and Pearl concoct a plan to prevent Dalton being crushed, but their over-indulgence in pre-match cocktails leads to a hideously mistimed interference attempt which the referee can’t ignore - and Dalton is disqualified.

Winner: Rusty Brooks




A high energy dance beat begins, with the customary strobe lighting that has the under-5s going crazy – but the over-stimulating display is abruptly cut short. After a couple of seconds, Battle Kat emerges from the curtain, a little sheepishly. The fans are confused – where is Battle Kat’s usual entrance? Where are the miniature pyros? The skateboard? The throwing of low quality gifts to a greedy public? At the top of the ramp stands William Muldoon, waving Battle Kat’s entrance tape. With him stands his ally Frank Gotch, holding Battle Kat’s glittery skateboard. In unison, Muldoon stamps on the tape and Gotch snaps the skateboard over his knee, to horrified gasps from Battle Kat and the sympathetic audience. Battle Kat’s opponent, one third of fatherly stable The Dads, Iron Mike Dibiase makes his way down the ramp to no music, as is his preference. Dibiase begins strongly with a pair of top rope knee drops, putting Kat on the back foot. Dibiase ties Kat up in knots on the canvas, until Kat manages to rally and trap Dibiase in the Kat’s Cradle! The younger members of the audience cheer – they think Kat might be in with a chance! Battle Kat mounts the ropes to launch what the commentary team is sure will be a devastating aerial assault – but from ringside, Dibiase’s pals Bob Orton Snr and Johnny Valentine push Kat off the ropes, leaving him sprawling on the mat. Dibiase drags Battle Kat’s masked face back and forth over the ropes then crushes him into the canvas, his shin over Kat’s face for added humiliation.

Winner: Iron Mike Dibiase



Tag Team action next as the Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair and Jumpin’ Jim Brunzell) take on the Mongols (Geeto and Bepo). Our foreign friends trap Brunzell in their corner and punish him, using their power and intimidating appearance to maximum effect. Brunzell almost succumbs to the pin three times but, each time, his partner whips up the crowd and Brunzell seems to draw on their energy to give him enough to kick out. In the Bees’ corner, B. Brian is buzzin’ about “Hazel’s Honey Hut” to any camera in the vicinity, but the Mongols prevent any chance of the Bees making a legal tag, and a Croatian Suplex finally keeps Brunzell down for the three count.

Winner: The Mongols (Geeto and Bepo)




Magical newcomer Spellbinder makes his way to the ring through a smog of dry ice, as his opponent Brian Kendrick paces the ring. Midway down the ramp, Ed and Evan Strangler Lewis appear, arms folded. Ed knocks Spellbinder to the floor with a single punch, as Evan steal his novelty flaming cane. The pair then stamp on Spellbinder’s top hat before heading backstage. After this traumatic start, it’s no surprise that Spellbinder’s offence is even weaker than usual . Kendrick easily outmanoeuvres his opponent and launches a Sliced Bread #2 out of nowhere for the win.

Winner: Brian Kendrick




This next match is sure to be an absolute scorcher – a dream for the FPW booking team! One half of the former Tag Team Champions, Ron Hutchison, makes his way to the ring in his maroon trunks and buttock-skimming shortie cloak, to a polite applause. His opponent, Henry Irslinger, enters the ring to a resounding silence. Hutchison goes for an early Shediac Lobster Trap but the slender Irslinger escapes. Irslinger smashes Hutchison repeatedly into the canvas with a series of flying headlocks. He goes for the cover but the resilient Hutchison kicks out! A barefoot kick to the jaw propels Hutchison out of the ring. After a few agonising seconds he reappears – CRIMSON MASK! The brave Hutchison slips on another Shediac Lobster trap but – as we all know - the Shediac needs at least 5 attempts to wear down an opponent, so Irslinger escapes again. As Hutchison lies exhausted and bleeding in the ring, Irslinger hoists him up for an aeroplane spin. With the centrifugal force of the spin, blood flies off Hutchison’s face and stains the clothes of any ringside fans who have foolishly worn white tonight, and Irslinger gently puts him down for the three count.

Winner: Henry Irslinger




Blond bruiser Buddy Landel strides to the ring, pointing at the cameras, flicking his hair arrogantly and yelling insults to the crowd. Jushin Thunder Liger awaits him, having recently returned from a successful tour of Australia. The pair lock up and the more powerful Landel gains the upper hand. He slaps Liger round the face and then slaps on a sleeper hold that may, from some angles, appear to be a choke hold. Liger claws at Landel’s soft underbelly to escape, then launches a series of blistering kicks, culminating in a top rope moonsault. Landel powers out and lunges at Liger, but Liger throws a Fisherman’s Buster and the referee counts to three.

Winner: Jushin Thunder Liger




The PA system crackles but no music issues forth. William Muldoon is accompanied to ringside by his associates Frank Gotch, Evan Strangler Lewis and Ed Strangler Lewis. The Strangler Lewises are still throwing Spellbinder’s hat and cane around between themselves, laughing. Most of the audience are intimidated into silence but a few brave fans star booing. Tonight Muldoon will be facing his former tag team partner and manager, FPW co-Champions Al Snow and Head. Al Snow makes his way to the ring holding Head aloft, to thunderous applause. He discusses tactics with Head before placing her in the corner of the ring. The match is fast-paced and even, as the former partners anticipate each other’s moves and counter every offence. Snow reaches for Head, no doubt to seek her advice, but he finds that Frank Gotch has got there first and is throwing Head around with the Strangler Lewises as if she is a football. Enraged, Snow yells at the trio, but Muldoon capitalises on this distraction and gains the upper hand. A body lift and throw gains the victory.

Winner: William Muldoon

After the bell, Al Snow collects Head from ringside, where the gang have discarded her. He strokes her hair lovingly and comforts her as they head backstage.

As Bob Armstrong gets ready for his match with a serious chest workout, the roving camera checks in on his tag partner, Mike Graham, resting in his darkened hospital room. Through the window, we see a nurse come in to check on him and attend to his intimate hygiene. The nurse leaves and, from underneath a cowboy hat in a shadowy corner of the room, a soft voice with a Southern drawl starts to read from a paperback book. After a while, Mike Graham’s eyes flutter open and he sees Cowboy Scott Casey in the shadows. Graham’s eyes widen in fear, and we hear muffled protests from his wired-shut jaw as Cowboy Scott Casey closes the blinds.

Main event 

Having called out Bob Armstrong last week and put the other half of the Chests, Mike Graham, in hospital, brutal newcomers Frank Gotch, Ed Strangler Lewis and Evan Strangler Lewis make their way to the ring with a certain swagger. Bob Armstrong solemnly strides to the ring with his son, Brad Armstrong, as secondary son Brian carries their gym bags. As Bob and Brad enter the ring, they find they will be facing three opponents tonight, so reluctantly Bob instructs Brian to join them in the match, to make it even. The hastily put-together ‘Chest, Son & Son’ begin with power and pace (Brad) and karate chops (Bob), as Brian remains on the apron, awaiting his chance at glory. Frank Gotch gets a toehold on Bob and, finally, Brian sees his opportunity. He rushes – somewhat prematurely – to make the save and quickly finds himself out-wrestled as the three opponents take turns showing him up. Finally, his big brother comes to the rescue and Brad tussles with Evan Strangler Lewis before tagging Brian back in. Brian does the shaky shay knee drop on Frank Gotch, much to the disgust of Gotch and his team, the remaining Armstrongs, the commentary team, the bookers, the locker room, the management and the entire audience. To avoid further embarrassment, Bob Armstrong tags himself in and swiftly unleashes a Georgia Jawjacker on Gotch, followed by a sleeper on Ed Lewis. The old boys rally and trap Bob in the ring, sticking the boots in when the referee can’t see, but Bob hangs on valiantly. Seeing his dad in distress, Brad Armstrong goes under the ring to grab Bob’s Tennessee Toothpick and the crowd goes wild, expecting a brawl! Brad hops up on the apron and Bob stretches out his hand for the bat. But what’s this? Instead, Brad tosses the bat to Frank Gotch who lays into Bob! Brian hesitates, staring at his brother for second, unsure what is going on. Brad rushes towards Brian and the two brothers brawl. The Strangler Lewises join in and it’s a six man melee. The referee calls for the bell and security staff pull the brawl apart.

Winners: Bob, Brad and Brian by DQ



Bob and Brian are escorted back up the ramp – they’ve won, but at what cost? The crowd is stunned into near silence – what has happened to Brad? Frank Gotch, Evan and Ed Strangler Lewis stand with Brad Armstrong in the ring, and William Muldoon joins them. Brad grabs a mic. “This right here is the past - and the future - of wrestling. [loud boos from audience] This is the Olde World Order of Wrestling, gentlemen!” The big screen shows a photo of the foursome, who are now calling themselves the Olde World Order. The OWO stand proudly in the ring as the audience boos and jeers. In this moment there is nobody the FPW fans hate more than Brad Armstrong, their golden-haired hero who turned on his own family and, in doing so, turned his back on FPW.

[Pariah]

The Olde World Order seems bent on bringing the entire FPW roster to its knees... Recruiting one of the Armstrong clan right under his own father's nose... What will be their next nefarious move?
