Aethra reigns supreme! Which comes as no great shock... But, Thantos and Terror had a superb run for two non-tag team wrestlers...
A little disappointed in the Greeks (their loss to the Croppers was the biggest upset of the tournament), but there's no shame in third place... Testament to the competition...
Great job, my friend... Looking forward to the singles cup... All that's left to say is...

STAR WARRIOR AND OMEGA 2-4 VS VANITY AND KILLER QUEEN 1-5
Killer Queen has already announced that he would not team with Vanity in 2088. Meanwhile, father and son had said that they would make one last run at the Cup in 2088. A shoulder breaker from Queen got a 2 count on Omega. Star Warrior got a 2 count on Queen with the Running Star Blast. Omega tagged in and gave Queen the TOMAHAWK THRUST and scored the 3 count as Vanity could not make the save and Vanity and Killer Queen clinched 8th place with the loss.

THE SPACECROPPERS OF NEPTUNE 3-3 VS INVINCIBLE KRAKAN AND MUTANT 2-4
The Spacecroppers certainly were a surprise team with a chance for a winning record. Meanwhile, Krakan has let it be known that there would be a change made in the Society of Death as he was very disappointed in his team's showing in the Three-Man as well as Tag Team Cups. Renegade got a two count on Mutant following a shoulder breaker. Beast-Rider tagged in and hit Mutant with a deathjump and just missed getting the three count. Krakan got into the match and got a two count on Renegade with a reverse piledriver. Beast-Rider came in and got the Beast Knee Shuffle on Mutant and went for the pin and Krakan had to make the save. Beast-Rider got a 2 count on Mutant with the BULLDOG RIDER. Mutant came back with an illegal choke hold and two count on Renegade. Mutant went for a face slam but Renegade countered it and hit a double knee lift and covered Mutant for the three count as Beast-Rider did not let Krakan make the save.

THE GLADIATORS OF AETHRA 6-0 VS MASSIF AND COMMANDER SAM 1-5
Brute and Massacre had already clinched the Cup and had announced that they would be back in 2088 to defend it. The team of Massif and Sam had been a huge disappointment and both men had said they would have new partners in 2088. This was a total dud as Massacre beat Massif with a running clothesline while Sam did not make the save. The Gladiators completed an undefeated run in the Cup.

THANTOS ANS COMRADE TERROR 5-1 VS THE GREEK GODS 4-2
For the 2088 Cup, Terror will join forces with Executioner to form the Henchmen! Meanwhile. the Greek Gods will try again in 2088. As for this match, the Gods will finish in second or fourth depending on the outcome of this match. Thantos gets Acatgon in the MASTERLOCK but cannot get the submission. Actagon comes back with the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP on Terror but cannot put him away. Actagon hits a deathjump on Terror and gets a 2 count. Proteus misses a deathjump and Terror covers for a 1 count. Thantos then makes Proteus submit to the MASTERLOCK as Actagon cannot make the save.

A formidable showing by Beast-Rider and Renegade... Who would've thought? Meanwhile, Sam & Massif and Queen & Vanity get crushed... From beginning to end, very entertaining!
