Crazy 5-Star bout, if I've ever seen one... As it should be when the Titans face off against Krakan's Society...
Now a win for the Evil Ones will clinch the series... Looking forward to the next match...

THE FEDERATION DEFENSE FIGHTERS (1-0) VS THE EVIL ONES (1-0) The VX Cup was brought down to ringside and fans were notified that a victory by the Evil Ones would end the tournament as they would clinch the Cup.
The Evil Ones came out first and they ignored the hostile crowd as they entered the ring. Then the Federation Defense Fighters arrived and the fans went absolutely crazy cheering for their heroes.
Star Warrior started for his team and, in a bizarre move, Death Knight began for the Evil Ones. Knight got the early advantage but Warrior turned it around on Killer Queen. Queen tried to turn it around on Sam but Sam made a defensive tag to Star Warrior to keep Queen on the defensive. Another attempt to come back, this time on Star Warrior, failed but Queen was able to make a defensive tag to Exo-King to get out of the jam with no harm done. The Evil Ones took over on Warrior but it wasn't long before he turned it around and again Queen found himself on the receiving end. Omega dropped Queen with a karate chop and made the cover and scored a 2 count. Star Warrior would then hit the NOVA LAUNCH and get the 3 count as the pin save was thwarted. This meant that Round Three was still important and the FDF would win the VX Cup if they could beat the Flying Titans. But the Evil Ones were not eliminated just yet! THE EVIL ONES (1-1) VS THE SOCIETY OF DEATH (0-2) Even with the Society of Death out of the running, this match had huge implications on the Cup. The Evil Ones were still alive and needed to win and then have the Titans beat the FDF to force a threeway tie and another playoff. A win by the SOD and then the Cup would go to the winner between the FDF and the Titans.
The fans were behind the Society of Death in this match as they wanted to see the Titans and FDF go for all the marbles. Krakan led his team out first and sneered at the cheering fans and seemed to hold them with ever more contempt. Then Exo-King led The Evil Ones out to even more boos than usual.
Killer Queen was sent out first for The Evil Ones and Krakan chose Mutant to begin the match for his team. The Evil Ones went to work on Mutant and then Mutant turned it around against Death Knight. Ghengis Khan hit Death Knight with the TWIN THRUST and made the cover but only got a 1 count. Mutant tagged in and applied the TEMPLE GRINDER but could not get Death Knight to submit. After a bit, Death Knight made a defensive tag allowing Killer Queen to go on the offense against Invincible Krakan. Exo-King woulf then hit a flying body crusher and score a 1 count on Krakan. Queen would catch Krakan in the CHECKMATE but could not get the submission. Exo-King tagged back in and caught Krakan in a reverse backbreaker and made the SOD leader submit as Queen and Knight kept Mutant and Khan from making the save. That meant the Evil Ones were still alive for a shot at a three-way playoff and needed the Titans to win. WINNERS OF THE MATCH: THE EVIL ONES

THE FEDERATION DEFENSE FIGHTERS (2-0) VS THE FLYING TITANS (1-1) This was it! The Cup was on the line. And three of the four teams still had a shot. For the Federation Defense Fighters, it was simple. Win and the Cup was theirs. On the other hand, if the Flying Titans won, we start over again with three teams still in the running.
The fans cheered as both teams made their way to the ring. It was pretty well split with maybe the FDF receiving more cheers.
Star Warrior took no chances as he started for his team while Pit Viper was chosen to start for the Titans. Viper got the early advantage but then Star Warrior turned it around against Pulsar. The FDF held the advantage a bit befoe Pulsar came back against Omega. Omega was in trouble for a while but managed a defensive tag to Commander Sam while Pit Viper was in the ring. Viper then hit a sunset flip on Sam for a 2 count then followed it up with the Snake Bite for a 1 count. Sam came back against Viper thanks to his power advantage. Viper, though, made a defensive tag to put Star Warrior on the defensive. Star Warrior, however, took it outside the ring to get the advantage against Pulsar. But another defensive tag got Pulsar out of trouble as Lord Nexus took over against Commander Sam. Sam quickly got the advantage back thanks to his power advantage over Nexus. A bit later and Nexus had turned it back around against Sam. Sam then came back on Pulsar. Star Warrior tagged in and hit a cross body block and just missed getting the three count on Pulsar. Pulsar then was able to get away from Omega for a defensive tag. Omega and Lord Nexus traded offense and then Nexus caught Omega in the TITAN DROP and got the three count as Sam and Warrior were unable to make the save. And the threeway tie and playoff was now a reality. WINNERS OF THE MATCH: THE FLYING TITANS

THE FLYING TITANS VS THE EVIL ONES So they meet again. The Evil Ones won the first match between these two teams. This time Pulsar started off against Killer Queen. Queen was quickly in trouble but came back against Pulsar. Pulsar then was trapped for a while in the ring before making a defensive tag to Pit Viper who went in after Death Knight. But Knight used his power advantage to immediately regain the advantage. Exo-King then tagged in and applied the DEATH VISE to Pit Viper and just missed getting the submission. Exo-King also hit Pit Viper with a flying body crusher and scored a 1 count. Death Knight then finished off Pit Viper with the COSMIC LANCE as Pulser and Lord Nexus could not make the save. The Evil Ones were one win away from capturing the VX Cup. WINNERS OF THE MATCH: THE EVIL ONES

Killer Queen and Commander Sam started the match off. Queen got the advantage and right away Sam was in trouble. Sam turned the match around against Death Knight. Death Knight escaped from Star Warrior and made a defensive tag to Killer Queen. Star Warrior then turned it around on the Queen. THE FEDERATION DEFENSE FIGHTERS VS THE FLYING TITANS And everything came down to this again. Exact same ramifications. Win and the FDF is the 2097 VX Cup Three-Man Champions. Lose and the three teams do it all over yet again.
Star Warrior and Pulsar began the match. One move and Pulsar made a defensive tag to Pit Viper. The FDF then took control on Viper. Viper was down but made a defensive tag to send Lord Nexus on offense against Star Warrior. Lord Nexus caught Star Warrior with a surprise TITAN DROP for a 1 count. Warrior turned it around on Pulsar. Commander Sam came very close to making Pulsar submit to an abdominal stretch. Pulsar then turned it around on Sam. Later, Pulsar put Sam in the Boston crab but could not get a submission. Lord Nexus hit Sam with a knee drop and made the cover and scored a 2 count. Pit Viper hit Sam with a knife-edge and scored a 1 count. Lord Nexus tagged in and gave Sam the TITAN DROP and got the three count and we still have a three-way tie after the first playoff.
