2087 VX CUP TOURNAMENT SEEDINGS 1. Star Warrior 2. Thantos 3. Wolf 4. Actagon 5. Brute 6. Lord Nexus 7. Massif 8. Comrade Terror 9. Exo-King 10. Proteus 11. Renegade 12. Invincible Krakan 13. Massacre 14. Killer Queen 15. Commander Sam 16. Executioner
The two biggest villains in the GWF are incensed over the seedings. Thantos, to no one's surprise, threw a fit when he learned he was seeded number two behind Star Warrior. And Invincible Krakan went on a rant when he saw Exo-King, Proteus and Renegade seeded ahead of him despite his dominance in the Qualifying Tournament.

Wow, Krakan got hosed....and gets a first round match with Brute. I'd go on a rant too.

STAR WARRIOR VS EXECUTIONER And the 2087 VX Cup is underway! Star Warrior is very aggressive early on but Executioner survives the onslaught, comes back and even manages to damage Star Warrior with a guillotine leg drop on the floor outside the ring. Executioner scores a two count with the HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE. Star Warrior came back and really went on the offensive and then hit a reverse piledriver and just missed getting the three count. Star Warrior followed up with the NOVA LAUNCH and got the three count. Thantos watched from the ramp, rage on his face that one of his henchmen failed to put a loss on Star Warrior's record. WINNER OF THE MATCH: STAR WARRIOR

THANTOS VS COMMANDER SAM One must wonder if the seedings had been set up like this purposefully. Star Warrior begins the tournament against one of Thantos' henchmen and now Thantos faces the grizzled veteran of the FDF. The match went back and forth with Sam gaining the advantage by brawling. Sam caught Thantos in a reverse backbreaker but could not get a submission. Sam also tried to get a submission with an abdominal stretch but Thantos still hung on. Thantos came back and just needed one opportunity and he snatched on the MASTERLOCK and Sam had to submit. WINNER OF THE MATCH: THANTOS

No surprises in this round so far but looks like a lot of solid action.

WOLF VS KILLER QUEEN Some thought Wolf actually got the easiest draw in the First Round as Killer Queen actually had a losing record in the Qualifying Tournament. One of the most bizarre matches as neither man could string together moves until, just like that, SAVAGE FACE CLAW! And it was over. Wolf grabbed a mic and said, "Star Warrior! Thantos! Don't forget about me, bubs!" WINNER OF THE MATCH: WOLF

ACTAGON VS MASSACRE And just like that, intensity shoots through the ref. Announcers remind everyone of Massacre's awesome run in the Qualifying Tournament and how he was the only one to beat Invincible Krakan. Add in is the feud between the Gods and the Gladiators making this First Round match even more exciting. A few changes of offensive advantage but the Actagon hit a couple big moves, locked on the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP and got a surprisingly quick win! WINNER OF THE MATCH: ACTAGON
