EXO-KING AND DEATH KNIGHT VS EXECUTIONER AND GHENGIS KHAN A very interesting matchup. One had to wonder what was going through the mind of Krakan here as his SOD was just a disaster so far in the VX Cup. And who would Thantos be pulling for here? The Evil Ones he created or his friend the Executioner?
It appeared to end in just two moves as Khan dropped Death Knight with the TWIN THRUST. However, Exo-King came in to make the save. So did Executioner. The referee then got tied up with Executioner and Exo-King dropped an elbow on Khan and put Death Knight on top of him for the cover but Khan kicked out at 2. Moments later, Exo-King had Khan in the DEATH VISE but could not get the submission. Death Knight hit Khan with a loaded glove but could only get a 1 count. Exo-King even gave Khan a flying body crusher on the floor outside the ring. Khan survived all that and even dropped Knight for a 2 count with a standing karate kick. Exo-King had to make another pin save after another TWIN THRUST on Death Knight. But then Executioner tagged in and finished Death Knight off with the HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE. WINNERS OF THE MATCH: EXECUTIONER AND GHENGIS KHAN

Really like the pairing of Executioner and Ghengis Khan... Figuring that they will advance, along with Viper and Pulsar... Unfortunate for Exo-King and Krakan - Two very strong competitors with less than adequate tag partners...
Enjoying what you've got done so far... Entertaining!

EXO--KING AND DEATH KNIGHT 0-1 VS PIT VIPER AND PULSAR 1-0 A must-win for Exo-King and Death Knight as two losses will completely eliminate them from any chance of qualifying for the actual Cup round. The two teams focused on the weakest link of the opponent, between Pulsar and Death Knight, but it was Pit Viper with the Cobra Nerve Stopper and the three count on Death Knight as Pulsar kept Exo-King from making the save. Could Pit Viper and Pulsar surprise everyone and win the qualifying round? WINNERS OF THE MATCH: PIT VIPER AND PULSAR

For me...Executioner and Khan was Mid-Evil! Oh, snap! Just realized that only one team gets to advance out of this qualifying round... Hmmm... Sorry, Titans... Going with Executioner and Khan... Mid-Evil... Great name!

INVINCIBLE KRAKAN AND MUTANT 0-1 VS EXECUTIONER AND GHENGIS KHAN 1-0 What a very interesting dilemma for Ghengis Khan as he has to battle his Society of Death teammates. For Krakan and Mutant, it's do-or-die, just like the situation Exo-King and Death Knight were in. A win by Executioner and Ghengis Khan and they would face Pit Viper and Pulsar to determine who would win the Qualifying Round of the 2087 VX Tag Team Cup. It was Executioner using an illegal foreign object to get a 2 count on Mutant. Executioner missed a turnbuckle charge and Mutant rolled him up for a 1 count. The Krakan Skullcrusher delivered to Executioner very nearly saw the match come to an end. Krakan then appeared to have Khan beaten with a gut wrench but Executioner made the save. Mutant then tagged in and gave Khan the TEMPLE GRINDER and Khan submitted as Executioner could not make the save. WINNERS OF THE MATCH: INVINCIBLE KRAKAN AND MUTANT

INVINCIBLE KRAKAN AND MUTANT (1-1) VS EXO-KING AND DEATH KNIGHT (0-2) Remembering the craziness of the Three-Man Cup, Krakan and Mutant are hoping for a three-way tie to do the same thing to this Qualifying Round of the Tag Team Cup. Exo-King and Death Knight come in trying to play spoiler. This wasn't even a match as neither team made a single tag. Krakan and Death Knight started the match and traded blows and then the Krakan Skullcrusher ended it as Exo-King failed to make the save. WINNERS OF THE MATCH: INVINCIBLE KRAKAN AND MUTANT

EXECUTIONER AND GHENGIS KHAN 1-1 VS PIT VIPER AND PULSAR 2-0 Pit Viper and Pulsar just need a victory to win the Qualifying Round of the Tag Team Cup. However, if Executioner and Ghengis Khan win, then we have a three-way tie just like in the Three Man Cup and have to have a playoff. Executioner gave Pulsar a choke using ropes and went for the cover and got a 2 count. Khan tagged in and gave Pulsar the TWIN THRUST and just missed getting the three count. Another TWIN THRUST and yet another almost three count on Pulsar. Khan hit Pit Viper with a deathjump and scored a 1 count. Executioner delivered the HEADSMAN GUILLOTINE to Pit Viper and just missed getting the three count. Khan dropped Pulsar with a standing karate kick and scored the pin as Pit Viper could not make the save. And we go to a playoff again. WINNERS OF THE MATCH: EXECUTIONER AND GHENGIS KHAN
