Pit Viper and Pulsar took this match during the Cup Qualifying Round. Let's see what Krakan and Mutant have to say in response during the playoff. A strategy fail by Krakan? Mutant starts the match and before long Pulsar gets a 1 count with the WHIRLWIND before we ever see Krakan tag in. Team SOD turns it around though and Krakan just misses getting the three count on Pit Viper with the FALLING FACE SLAM. Then the Titans come back and just miss getting the win as Pulsar gives Mutant another WHIRLWIND. Pit Viper tags in and executes a backward leg-sweep and covers Mutant for a 1 count. Mutant comes back and applies the TEMPLE GRINDER to Pit Viper and just missed getting the submission. Mutant also got the TEMPLE GRINDER on Pulsar but could not make him submit either. Krakan tagged in and hit the FALLING FACE SLAM on Pulsar but could only get a one count. Another TEMPLE GRINDER still couldn't put Pulsar away. Mutant finally finished Pulsar off with a face mangler as Pit Viper could not make the save.

INVINCIBLE KRAKAN AND MUTANT VS EXECUTIONER AND GHENGIS KHAN
So this is it. If Krakan and Mutant win, they advance to the Tag Team Cup. Executioner and Ghengis Khan can advance by winning this match and then beating Pit Viper and Pulsar. Mutant nearly gets Executioner to submit to the TEMPLE GRINDER. Krakan gives Khan a skullcrusher on the floor outside the ring. Mutant tags in and gives Khan a face slam on the floor outside the ring. The Krakan Skullcrusher looks to finish off Executioner but Khan makes the save. Krakan gives Executioner the FALLING FACE SLAM but again Khan makes the save. Mutant gets Executioner in the TEMPLE GRINDER but still can't get the submission. Krakan tags in and gives Executioner one more FALLING FACE SLAM and gets the three count and Krakan and Mutant head to the Tag Team Cup!

Krakan and Mutant made a massive comeback to qualify for the Cup but now must face The Gamemaster and his top right hand man. Any chance at a power play for the top villain spot in the GWF comes down to this for Krakan. Thantos and Comrade Terror very quickly isolate Mutant. Thantos hit Mutant with a double knee lift and made the cover and scored a 1 count. Mutant also refused to submit to the Terror Face Claw. Terror gave Mutant the ATOMIC WARHEAD and just missed getting the three count. A shoulder breaker from Thantos finally put Mutant away as Krakan could not make the save.

THE GREEK GODS VS THE SPACECROPPERS OF NEPTUNE
The most popular tag team in the GWF meets off against sentimental favorites in this matchup. The Spacecroppers will win more cheers than matches in this tournament barring a series of unlikely events. Good guys or not, they were willing to fight outside on the floor and Proteus hurt Beast-Rider with a Grecian Slam on the floor outside the ring. Actagon tagged in and applied the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP but Beast-Rider would not go quietly. The Spacecroppers came back, taking advantage of the lack of agility from Proteus, and Renegade went to the SPINECRACKER but Proteus would not submit. Beast-Rider tagged in and gave Proteus the BULLDOG RIDE but could only get a 1 count. Beast-Rider landed a standing dropkick on Proteus and went for the cover but barely got a 1 count. Renegade once again caught Proteus in the SPINECRACKER. Actagon came in to save his partner. As the ref turned to Actagon, Beast-Rider and Renegade gave Proteus a double spinebuser and Renegade shocked the crowd with a cover and 3 count as Beast-Rider cut off Actagon.

Not surprised that Thantos and Terror won that opening bout... Expect them to do well...
