THE GLADIATORS OF AETHRA VS VANITY AND KILLER QUEEN
The entire roster was buzzing over the Spacecroppers win. It gave teams like Vanity and Killer Queen confidence but also gave reason for teams like the Gladiators to get more focused and not overlook anyone. Again, agility came in to play and led to Killer Queen hitting Massacre with a flying knee drop and making the cover for a 2 count. The underdogs continued to dominate and Queen got Massacre in the CHECKMATE but could not get a submission. Massacre finally was able to use his power to turn the match around and soon Brute got a 2 count on Vanity with an atomic skullcrusher. Massacre hit Vanity with a running clothesline and went for the pin. Queen came in for the save but Massacre moved and Queen knocked Vanity down. Massacre then gave Vanity the MASSACRE SLAM and then Queen pulled the referee out of the ring. Massacre then went after the referee and Queen and Vanity attacked him from behind. The Gladiators then dominated both Vanity and Queen. Brute hit a deathjump on Vanity for a 1 count. Massacre tagged in and planted Vanity with the MASSACRE SLAM for a 2 count. Later, another MASSACRE SLAM finally spelled the end for Vanity.

MASSIF AND COMMANDER SAM VS STAR WARRIOR AND OMEGA
The Battle of the Federation Defense Fighters completes Round On of the 2087 VX Tag Team Cup! Almost a dud as Massif gets Omega in an abdominal claw and Star Warrior is forced to hit Massif with the Running Star Blast to prevent the submission. A headbutt from Massif looks to end it before Star Warrior makes the save again. Warrior and Omega then Double Cetus Slam Massif and Omega makes the cover for a 1 count. A karate chop from Omega put Massif down for a 2 count. A big turn in the match and SAM'S ATOMIC DROP almost put Star Warrior down for the three count. Another SAM'S ATOMIC DROP got a 1 count on Star Warrior. Star Warrior came back and hit Massif with a cross body block and got a 1 count. Omega came in and gave Massif a cosmic war dance and made the cover and scored the three count as Warrior prevented Sam from making the save.

Definitely think that seeing the Greeks lose to the Croppers will cause some of the more prolific teams to be more focused...
With a first round victory, the Gladiators have put themselves in a prime spot to take it all... Big win for SW and Omega as well... But, one has to ask, how did their fellow FDF members feel about losing in that manner? Quite a few pin saves in that contest...
Plenty of great action with plenty more to come!

MASSIF AND COMMANDER SAM 0-1 VS INVINCIBLE KRAKAN AND MUTANT 0-1
There is more room for error than in the Three Man Cup but starting 0-2 is not a position either team wants to be in. SAM'S ATOMIC DROP leads to a 2 count on Krakan. Massif tags in and hits the VOLCANIC DROP and has Krakan beat but Mutant pulls the referee out of the ring. Massif starts to argue with the referee and Krakan attacks him from behind and rolls Massif up for the 3 count as Mutant prevents Sam from making the save.

THE GREEK GODS 0-1 VS VANITY AND KILLER QUEEN 0-1
One had to wonder if the worst two people to be at this point would be Vanity and Killer Queen with two angry Greek Gods coming for them. The Greek Gods dominated. Proteus sent Vanity flying with the OVERHEAD TOSS but barely even got a 1 count. Vanity then survived Actagon's GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP. Proteus with another OVERHEAD TOSS went to finish Vanity. Killer Queen made the save. The referee put Queen back in the corner leading the Greek Gods to double Grecian Bomb Vanity. Proteus made the cover again but could barely get a 1 count again. Proteus even gave Vanity a Proteus Smash on the floor outside the ring. Actagon hit a deathjump on Vanity and had the pin but Queen made the save again. Proteus delivered a painful powerlam on the floor outside the ring to Vanity. Vanity finally escaped the onslaught but Acatgon put Queen away with the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP.

That was a VERY important win for the Greeks, allowing them to stay in this thing... And a dispute with the referee may very well have knocked Sam and Massif out of the running... Gonna be tough for them to bounce back at this point...
Expecting Thantos and Terror to claim another victory... The Gladiators should as well, but Star Warrior could play the spoiler...
Should be an exciting close to the second round!

THANTOS AND COMRADE TERROR 1-0 VS THE SPACECROPPERS OF NEPTUNE 1-0
Can the Spacecroppers pull off a second straight upset? Two teams will be 2-0 after round two. Which of these two teams will it be? The Spacecroppers ran a string of offensive assaults on Thantos to no avail. Then, Thantos came back with the Satanic Skull Smasher to Renegade for a 1 count. Thantos also went for the win on Renegade with a sleeper hold but Renegade held on to stay in the match. Terror tagged in and gave Renegade the ATOMIC WARHEAD but Beast-Rider made the save. A choke using ropes from Thantos also got a 1 count on Renegade. Finally, the Comrade Neck Clutch finished off Renegade as Beast-Rider could not make the save. Thantos grabbed a mic and said "this is the team that beat the great Greek Gods? Wow. How shameful!"
