MASSIF AND COMMANDER SAM 0-3 VS VANITY AND KILLER QUEEN 0-3
The battle for last place! Who would have ever foreseen Massif and Sam in this position? They weren't for long in this dud as Massif hit the VOLCANIC DROP on Vanity and got the three count as Sam made sure Queen did not make the save.

THE GREEK GODS 2-1 VS INVINCIBLE KRAKAN AND MUTANT 1-2
Krakan sent out Mutant to start the match and the Gods went to work right away and Actagon got on the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP but Mutant would not go down. Another GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP brought in Krakan for the save. The referee put Krakan back in his corner and Proteus came in and the Greeks gave Mutant a double power drop and Actagon covered for the three count as Krakan could not make the save and never once got tagged in.

THANTOS AND COMRADE TERROR 3-0 VS STAR WARRIOR AND OMEGA 1-2
A huge mistake by the hero team as Omega starts the match and can't even get in a tag as Thantos hits a deathjump and Star Warrior has to come in and make the save. The ref puts Star Warrior back in the corner and Thantos and Terror give Omega a double skull smasher and Thantos covers and Star Warrior again comes in for the save. Again, Star Warrior is put back in his corner allowing for a double brainbuster on Omega and Thantos covers for a two count. Terror tags in and gives Omega the ATOMIC WARHEAD and somehow can't get the three count. Star Warrior then finally gets tagged in but is hit with a double knee lift by Thantos and Thantos covers for a two count. Terror tags in and applies the Terror Face Claw but can't get Star Warrior to submit. Thantos then finishes off Star Warrior with the MASTERLOCK.

The two biggest names in singles competition finally go head-to-head in this tag team tournament... And Thantos is the one who leads his team to victory... Things looking very good for the GameMaster and his primary henchman, Comrade Terror - But, their two toughest matches have yet to come...

THE GLADIATORS OF AETHRA 3-0 VS THE SPACECROPPERS OF NEPTUNE 2-1
The Spacecroppers had been quite the surprise team so far but had also really been beaten easily by Thantos and Comrade Terror. Meanwhile, the Gladiators were primed to enter the second half of the tournament as the team to beat. The Spacecroppers came out and really tried to take the fight to the Aethrans but soon Massacre hit the DECAPITATOR on Beast-Rider and Renegade had to make the save. Beast-Rider came back and got a two count on Massacre with the BULLDOG RIDE. Later, Brute hit Beast-Rider with the DECAPITATOR and Renegade made the save. Renegade came back with the SPINECRACKER on Brute and Massacre had to make the save. Beast-Rider gave Brute the BULLDOG RIDE and just missed getting the three count. Renegade got a 2 count on Brute with a double knee lift. A shoulder breaker by Renegade just missed getting the three count on Brute as well. Beast-Rider tagged in and gave Brute the BULLDOG RIDE and Massacre made the save causing a brawl to break out. This changed the match and Massacre got a one count on Beast-Rider with the DECAPITATOR. Brute then gave Beast-Rider a piledriver on the floor outside the ring. The MASSACRE SLAM then finally finished off Beast-Rider and the Gladiators escaped by the skin of their teeth.

Wow! Almost another amazing upset victory for the Croppers... But, the Gladiators pull it out and remain undefeated in the tourney... Each match is so important, none of the top teams can afford to lose at this point...

VANITY AND KILLER QUEEN 0-4 VS THE SPACECROPPERS OF NEPTUNE 2-2
Despite the won-loss records, there was the bad blood in this match that left these competitors determined not to be embarrassed! The match was back and forth until Queen caught Beast-Rider in the CHECKMATE and Vanity kept Renegade from making the save as Beast-Rider was forced to submit.

STAR WARRIOR AND OMEGA 1-3 VS INVINCIBLE KRAKAN AND MUTANT 1-3
Omega hurt Mutant with a splash on the floor outside the ring. Omega hit Mutant with the TOMAHAWK THRUST and scored a 1 count. Star Warrior hits the NOVA LAUNCH on Mutant and Krakan comes in to make the save and a wild brawl breaks out. Mutant gets the TEMPLE GRINDER on Star Warrior but can't get the submission. Omega hits a deathjump and gets a 1 count on Mutant. Star Warrior hit Mutant with a cross body block and Krakan made the save again. Star Warrior finally finished off Mutant with combo punches and the cover for a three count.
