Thank you, Pariah and Guilty Party for your comments!
We've definitely not seen the last of Fox vs. Gabriel; it was such a good match that the fans are clamoring for more.
And the factions in NWA: Evolution are definitely our for blood. First The Scene of Brian Cage and Cedric Alexander take out Chris Hero (and get suspended for it), and now the new House of Truth targets Roderick Strong. You can expect to hear more from David Marquez on the House of Truth's actions later this week, but Guilty Party has it right: Strong will be coming after them with a vengeance.
Again, thank you for reading and taking the time to comment. It makes my old, withered heart feel good.

NWA: IntensityCleveland, Ohio August 4, 2015 DJ Hyde vs. Greg Excellent
The leader of NWA: Intensity started out strong against Excellent, laying into him with punches and kicks, then firing him into the turnbuckle. Excellent reversed the whip, however, and Hyde crashed hard into the corner, dropping to the mat. Excellent immediately charged into the corner with a Rick Roll, but he took a little too long celebrating afterward and wound up eating a nasty lariat. Hyde power bombed Excellent, then followed up with his SHADOW DRIVER for good measure, putting the popular fan favorite away.
WINNER: DJ Hyde via pinfall (6:39)
AC/DC vs. Philly's Most Wanted
This match got off to a slow start--there were plenty of quick tags on both sides, but they were interspersed among several rest holds and low-impact wear-down moves. The action picked up about midway through the match, when Arik Cannon and Darin Corbin hoisted Joker up for a brainbuster/crescent kick combo. Corbin, the legal man, turned up the offense, hitting a snap neckbreaker and a rope-hung DDT that earned him a two-count. He went to tag in Cannon, but Joker hit him from behind with a low blow that sent him crashing to the mat. Joker tagged in the well-rested Sabian, then hit Corbin with a corner cannonball and tied him up in the Tree of Woe. Sabian charged across the ring and slid into Corbin's face with a dropkick, then went to the top rope and came off with a 450 splash that left Corbin ripe for the pin.
WINNERS: Philly's Most Wanted by pinfall (18:49)
Matt Cross vs. Gregory Iron (with Veda Scott)
The opening minutes of this contest were marked by some incredible chain wrestling by Cross, with Iron countering him at every turn and eventually taking the advantage with a half nelson bulldog. With Veda Scott shouting encouragement, Iron hit his HANDICAPPED PARKING and nearly put his opponent away, but Cross managed to get a shoulder up just before referee Drake Younger counted three. Iron went for a clothesline, but Cross ducked under it and countered with a lariat of his own, then a standing moonsault that earned him a three-count, but not the court-mandated four required to pin Iron. Cross changed things up, going for the submission with a BOW AND ARROW, but Scott jumped onto the apron to provide a distraction to both Cross and the official. Iron managed to shake off the cobwebs and attack Cross from behind with a chop block, rolling him up and hooking the tights for a long two-count. Cross managed to fight back one more time, taking Iron down with a press slam, hitting a standing moonsault, then immediately going for his DEATH FROM ABOVE which finally put Iron down for four.
WINNER: Matt Cross via pinfall (12:05)
Rob Van Dam vs. Robert Anthony
Something had clearly gotten into RVD, as he wrestled this match with a cocky brashness unseen since his early days in ECW. He belittled Anthony every chance he got, shoving him backward by the face and, at one point, pinching Anthony's cheek like he was a child. Whatever it was, this behavior fired Anthony up, and he fought back with a vengeance. Running Ace Crusher for two. Vertebreaker for two. TACO PIZZA for a long two. With RVD staggered, Anthony took the fight to the floor and picked up a chair, but he walked right into a Van Daminator that left him rocked. Van Dam rolled him back into the ring and mounted the top rope, coming off with a picture-perfect flying cross body block that left Anthony down for the count.
WINNER: Rob Van Dam via pinfall (7:57)
Colt Cabana vs. Ethan Page (with Seleziya Sparx)
Cabana took the first step on his path back to the World Championship in this match, dominating Page right from the opening bell and scoring a quick near-fall with his COLT .45. Both men rolled out to the floor, and Page began running around the ring, with Cabana in close pursuit. Page eventually slid back into the ring and jumped on Cabana, hammering him with fists and ultimately rolling onto him for a one-count. Cabana wasn't having any of that, though--he kicked Page in the stomach and planted him with a piledriver, then locked him in the Billy Goat's Curse. Page fought against the hold and eventually managed to reach the ropes...only to have Cabana pull him back to the center of the ring and slap on a figure four leg lock! This was finally too much for Page, who gave up right away.
WINNER: Colt Cabana via submission (7:05)
Eddie Kingston vs. Silas Young
What a brutal match! These two tore into each other mercilessly, demonstrating why they are considered the two toughest men in NWA: Intensity as both men were willing to take three punches to land one. Over the course of several minutes, Kingston managed to take the advantage, finally scoring with a takedown and raining punches down on Young from the mount. "The Last Real Man" fought his way to the ropes, forcing a break, and nailed Kingston with a lariat out of nowhere that bought him some breathing room. Young dragged Kingston to the corner and hit a split-legged moonsault for a two-count, but after that Kingston fought his way to his feet and took Young down with a back drop driver. He went for the cover, but Young kicked out at one, made it to his feet, and hit him with another lariat. Young went to the corner, pulled off a headstand, and hit his PEE GEE WAJA PLUNGE to finally put Kingston away.
WINNER: Silas Young via pinfall (10:33)
The Chosen (with So Cal Val) vs. The Beaver Boys
Another main event grudge match, another disappointment. The Chosen very quickly worked Alex Reynolds over, putting him down with a T-bone suplex by Michael Kai Rayne, then a knee drop by Mark Sterling. Sterling clamped on his MARKSHOOTER, and before John Silver could make the save, Reynolds was forced to tap out.
WINNERS: The Chosen via submission (2:05)
Match of the Night: Matt Cross d. Gregory Iron Wrestling Observer Rating: 3.5 stars

For starters, I must commend you on your match write-ups... You're doing an excellent job of providing blow-by-blow details without burying the audience with unnecessary information... Captivating! The results of the two tag matches were somewhat disappointing, as I was rooting for AC/DC and The Beaver Boys in their respective bouts... I'm always paying VERY close attention to any match involving Darin Corbin... And you know why... Very cool seeing Matt Cross pick up the win... And RVD was spectacular, as usual... Could've done without the Cabana victory, but at least he wasn't up against one of my favorites... And it looks like Kingston and Young engaged in a brutal confrontation... Really great stuff going on DJ Hyde's Intensity brand... Great work!

Thank you for the kind words, Pariah! As a productive member of the community yourself, you know how hard it is to maintain a balancing act between giving enough detail to tell an interesting story and boring people by listing every little turn of the dice. I really appreciate you're saying that I've got it right, as it's something I worry about.
If you aren't a Cabana fan, you're going to hate next week's Intensity show, as he is challenging AJ Styles for the World Title. Of course, Ric Flair will be in Styles' corner, making an already uphill battle even more challenging for Cabana.
I was happy with the other matches, too (except the horrible main event, of course). I'm really hoping we get an updated Matt Cross card in the AIW set, because his Olde Wrestling card just looks out of place next to all the bright colors of the others.
Thank you for reading and commenting--I appreciate it!

I'm really hoping we get an updated Matt Cross card in the AIW set, because his Olde Wrestling card just looks out of place next to all the bright colors of the others. Me too! I don't even own the Olde Wrestling online set... So yeah, in really hoping we get an AIW version of Cross... Really like what he does as Son of Havoc in Lucha Underground as well... I don't really mind Cabana as much as it seems... With a fan mentality when I read the feds of others, he's just one guy I've singled out to always give a hard time... I do the same with Adam Cole (or as I like to call him, Cry-Bay-Bay)... No idea why I do it... LOL!

NWA: PURITYOrlando, Florida August 5, 2015 Jay Lethal vs. Matt Sydal
A disappointing match for Sydal fans, as Lethal kicked him in the stomach while the two men shook hands and immediately transitioned into his Lethal Combination. With Sydal staggered, Lethal went for the LETHAL INJECTION, but he picked Sydal up off the mat at two. Another LETHAL INJECTION, and once more, Lethal picked him up at two. Finally, Lethal went to the top rope and came down with a huge flying elbow, making the cover and securing the 1-2-3.
WINNER: Jay Lethal via pinfall (3:19)
The Young Bucks vs. reDRagon
This contest started out at a fast pace, with Nick Jackson and Kyle O'Reilly running the ropes and taking each other down with a double clothesline. O'Reilly struggled to his feet moments ahead of Jackson, who walked right into O'Reilly's Roaring Elbow, bloodying his nose. O'Reilly went to the top rope, but Jackson cut him off him and slammed him down to the mat, then tagged in his brother. One MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK put O'Reilly down, but he managed to kick out at two and a half. Matt Jackson tossed O'Reilly out of the ring, but O'Reilly's foot got caught on the rope and he landed awkwardly on his shoulder. Bobby Fish immediately raced around the ring to check on his partner, who wound up taking a count out to bring the match to an abrupt end.
WINNERS: The Young Bucks via count out (4:05)
NWA Pure Championship Tournament Match: Adam Cole (with Mia Yim) vs. Rhino
Rhino was a last-minute substitution for Austin Aries, still recovering from a neck injury he suffered at the hands of Brodie Lee. On his way to the ring, Adam Cole grabbed a sign from a ringside fan that read "CRY-BAY-BAY" and tore it into pieces. And speaking of being torn into pieces, that was what Rhino did to him in the first few minutes of this match. Cole made the mistake of trying to body slam Rhiino, who countered with a belly-to-belly suplex, a flapjack, and a wicked lariat that earned him a two-count. As Cole staggered to his feet, he turned around and got broken in half by a GORE! GORE! GORE! Cole tumbled into the ropes and got an arm and a leg through them, preventing the cover, and he pulled himself out to the floor. A desperation chair shot earned a warning from Todd Sinclair, but also bought Cole a chance to slow down the man-beast and put on a display of his own. Super kick for two. FLORIDA KEY for two and a half. Another FLORIDA KEY and Cole immediately went for the PANAMA SUNRISE to finally put Rhino away.
WINNER: Adam Cole via pinfall (7:00)
NWA World Television Championship Match: Brodie Lee (with Sinn Bodhi) vs. Michael Elgin
The champion refused to shake Elgin's hand prior to this match, but if the intent was psyching the challenger out, it failed miserable. Elgin immediately hit a beautiful enzuigiri that dropped Lee to the canvas, then followed up with a crossfire hold that had the champion close to tapping out. As Lee was about to reach the ropes, Elgin released the hold and hoisted Lee up with a deadlift, then power bombed him into the turnbuckles. Lee stumbled forward and Elgin rolled him up with a small package, but Sinn Bodhi slid into the ring, breaking up the count. Referee Charles Robinson was quick to intercept Bodhi, and ejected him not only from the ring, but from the ringside area completely! Meanwhile, Elgin power bombed Lee into the turnbuckles one more time, then lifted him up for a vertical suplex, holding him upright for more than thirty seconds before sending him crashing to the mat. Elgin made the cover, and Robinson dove into position to make the three-count.
WINNER and NEW NWA WORLD TELEVISION CHAMPION: Michael Elgin via pinfall (6:01)
NWA Pure Championship Tournament Match: Drew Galloway vs. Shaun Ricker (with Ric Flair)
Despite the rivalry between the two competitors, Galloway and Ricker followed the Code of Honor and shook hands prior to the match, though Ricker slapped Galloway in the face as soon as the bell sounded. Galloway fired back with a wild fist, and the fight was on. Ricker suplexed Galloway to the mat and followed up with a hangman's neckbreaker, but Galloway fought back with body slams, forearms, and a reverse STO that put Ricker down for two. The match continued to swing back and forth, with neither man taking a real advantage until Ricker was able to hit the D.T.B., following up with a stomp to Galloway's groin. While referee Mike Chioda warned Ricker for the illegal move, Galloway rolled to the floor, where Ric Flair grabbed him and flung him into the ring post. Flair rolled Galloway back into the ring and Ricker made the cover, but he only earned a two-count. Ricker whipped Galloway into the ropes but missed a clothesline, and Galloway responded with a running neckbreaker, then a Mafia Kick that knocked Ricker for a loop. Galloway made the cover: 1-2-no! Ricker got a shoulder up. Galloway hauled Ricker to his feet and set him up for the FUTURE SHOCK, but Ricker countered with a back body drop over the top rope to the floor. Galloway landed hard, and Ricker quickly followed him to the floor, stealing the time keeper's bell and driving it into Galloway's head. Mike Chioda called for the bell immediately, bringing an end to this wild match.
WINNER: Drew Galloway via disqualification (18:06)
Post-Match Drama
After the match was over, Ricker prepared to finish Galloway off with the bell, but the crowd exploded as Homicide came tearing out from the back to tackle Ricker and wrestle him to the floor. The Notorious 1-8-7 began laying into Ricker with punches, busting him open then biting his bloodied forehead. The crowd's enthusiasm began to diminish as the beating went on, and it was clear that Homicide was out for more than blood. Ric Flair jumped onto his back, but Homicide flipped him onto the floor and kicked him in the stomach, then began pulling up the ringside mats. Homicide lifted Ricker up for the GRINGO KILLA, but NWA: Purity leader Nigel McGuinness quickly raced out with a microphone.
McGUINNESS: "Stop! Hold it! Hold it right there, Homicide! You put him down! You put him down right now, or you're out of Purity for good!"
Homicide didn't seem perturbed by this, and after spitting in McGuinness' direction, he dropped Ricker onto the arena floor with a neck-crunching GRINGO KILLA that left him out cold. Security personnel quickly swarmed Homicide and led him away in handcuffs while medical officials immobilized Ricker's neck and carried him off on a stretcher.

Great win for The Young Bucks... Hopefully, it does not come at the expense of Kyle O'Reilly's well-being...
Some excellent action as we got to the bottom of the card... Was rooting for Rhino, but somehow 'Cry-Bay-Bay' Cole managed to dig out the hole he was being buried in... Cool seeing Elgin capture the TV title in dramatic fashion...
Just when it seemed like Ricker was getting what he deserved for his treatment of Galloway, Homicide makes sure to take it SEVERAL steps further... Holy snap! What will be the ultimate ruling of Nigel McGuinness? Will Homicide be shopping himself out to Hyde's INTENSITY brand?
Very fun stuff!

Thanks, Pariah!
We will definitely see a rematch between the Young Bucks and reDRagon. This was a fluke win for the Bucks (using their newest cards!), so we'll see if they can repeat their success.
I checked my history file and Elgin makes the fifth Television Champion crowned in thirty days! He's on a flight to California right now for a title defense at Evolution, so we'll see if jet lag makes it six.
Your comments are very much appreciated. Thank you so much!

Your comments are very much appreciated. Thank you so much! It's amusing how secondary titles change hands so often... My OutBreak Interstate Championship is like a hot potato, while the World Championship has pretty much taken up permanent residence with Kevin Steen (with a brief stay around the waist of AR Fox which did not last long)... And it's not a result of the quality of competition... Steen has faced the biggest names my roster has to offer... I'm really enjoying your multi-brand product... Any plans on an interpromotional event in the future?

I'm really enjoying your multi-brand product... Any plans on an interpromotional event in the future? You know, that idea never even occurred to me. That's a fabulous idea! I may do something special around Christmas--a new age Starrcade. Where was this thought in July, during Great American Bash season?
