From the looks of it, this should be the first con for a number of promoters out there, which is awesome. Unfortunately the timing change made it so a few of the regulars could not make it this time, but I hope next year we can get even more folks there. |

We're 1/3 of the way to getting Mike Fortune there. Can anyone else help!?! well, I'm currently working a second job at just $10 per hour to pay for my expenses, so I can't promise to donate right now as I still have to pay for my hotel Wednesday night, the convention ticket, etc. however, I have a hotel room reserved (last week I snagged the last one available at the convention price) that I now only need for Thursday night since Jim Steel and the others I am staying with don't arrive until Friday morning. I cancelled that hotel room for the Friday and Saturday night but if I can crash with somebody for Thursday night and split that $100 hotel fee for that night with them then I will give half ($25) of the $50 I save that night to Mike. |
