I'm at the gate now and about to board the plane.  Try to get to Fathead's Brewery while you're in town, only 25 minutes from the hotel. I am not staying at the convention hotel until tomorrow because tonight it would be a $150 room since the convention prices don't start until tomorrow. Instead for tonight I am staying at this other place near the airport called America's Best Value Inn for only $60 tonight (a $90 savings.) Tournament Master says it is the hotel where AIW wrestlers usually stay at when they are in town for shows- it is a good value for $60 as this place has a bar and grill and there is also a Subways about a block and a half away. I went down to the bar and picked up some beers (the rooms even have fridges) and I am currently getting caught up watching some wrestling on my labtop. Planing to wake up tomorrow and go over to check in to my Thursday night room at the convention hotel and then take the train into downtown Cleveland for the day. For anybody flying into Cleveland, the airport shuttle seems to get to the airport quickly as it showed up twice while I was waiting for the shuttle to this hotel (and I was not even waiting that long.) |

I was just going to cab it from there since I am also taking a bus. A day and a half trip from Orlando, FL. I arrive at 1pm on Friday. If you happen to be there at the same time, we can share a cab. Sickman we might be on the same Greyhound. I'm coming from Jacksonville and my bus is set to arrive at 1 I know that we are going through Tallahassee, Atlanta and Nashville. If you are on the same bus, look for a dude with long hair wearing a Cubs shirt!! Would be cool to have some company on the trip! |

My journey starts at 6:15 AM tomorrow. Hit Cleveland at 1. Casey and Sickman, I'll be looking for you guys. Should have on a Star Wars t-shirt and probably pull out my Indy cards if you need to identify me.

I think people here in Cleveland must be accustomed to cold weather as in both of the hotel locations I have been to the last two days they have had the AC at full blast in their 70 degree August "heat" as soon as I walk in the door. The hot bartender from Switzerland downtown told me Cleveland has two seasons- snow and construction. Yesterday I got to go to both the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and the Yankees-Indians game. I got back to the hotel here and got served some beers by some smoking hot goddess named Michelle (Kaitlyn at the front desk is really hot too.) Looking forward to seeing some friends here later today!
