I always pictured the Cosmic War Dance as 'Hulking Up', THEN a chop (or a few chops), so your imagery totally works for me

I always pictured the Cosmic War Dance as 'Hulking Up', THEN a chop (or a few chops), so your imagery totally works for me I definitely appreciate this interpretation of it. I assume that moves get a little more straightforward as we move along in GWF history though, and I'm anxiously awaiting that moment!

Then 2089 started introducing more managers. But, 2090 to 2093 were the big ones as they add lots of awesome talent. So strap yourself in and get ready for the ride!

I actually have the 2088-2090 set, and it's burning a hole in my card storage box. Some familiar faces might not be able to wait for the new year...!

To this day (since 1988 0r 89) Spike is my favorite wrestlers and my favorite feud is Spike vs. Wolf in any type of cage match I could find.

Card No. 6, Late March 2087
Beast-Rider vs. Actagon
A very back-and-forth matchup to start the action on Card No. 6! Both got plenty of offense and though Actagon teased going to the outside to grab a chair again when Beast-Rider got a rope break on the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP, cooler heads prevailed and Actagon went to the top rope. Beast-Rider recovered in time to toss him off, however, and Actagon left himself open for a BULLDOG RIDE from Beast-Rider as the Neptunian Space-Cropper avenged Renegade’s attack!
RESULT: Beast-Rider def. Actagon with the BULLDOG RIDE (Actagon +1, Beast-Rider +2)
After the match, Actagon, always happy to engage in combat with fellow warriors of the ring, offered a handshake. Beast-Rider was pensive, but eventually shook Actagon’s hand as the two wrestlers entered an uneasy truce that would likely be put to the test at Card No. 8’s one-night only tag team tournament.
GWF Universal Title Tournament Quarterfinal Wolf vs. Comrade Terror
Wolf wrestled like a man possessed in this quarterfinal matchup, with a counter for nearly every move the Comrade tried to apply. Terror was overwhelmed by the former Gladiator, and when Wolf locked in the SAVAGE FACE CLAW, Wolf got the submission and became the first GWF superstar to reach the semifinals!
RESULT: Wolf def. Comrade Terror with the SAVAGE FACE CLAW (Terror +3)
GWF Universal Title Tournament Quarterfinal Star Warrior vs. Invincible Krakan
As the last member of the Society of Death left in the tournament, Krakan looked no less confident going up against the Hero of the Federation.
Krakan attacked Star Warrior before the bell and added injury to insult with a reverse piledriver to start the match. He feigned crying in reference to Warrior and Omega’s match last week. Warrior, obviously hurt by the move, was hurt more when Krakan started biting his forehead and then lifted him up for another reverse piledriver as the crowd booed the Society of Death leader. Star Warrior rolled out of the ring, slowly recovering as Krakan took some time to preen for the hate-filled crowd, trash-talking with some fans in the front row and leaning over the ropes to make rude gestures at them.
What Krakan didn’t notice was Star Warrior recovering on the outside, snatching Krakan’s legs and dragging him to the outside. Star Warrior, angered at Krakan’s show of disrespect, smacked Krakan across the face and then drove Krakan’s face into the ring post. While this would normally be behavior a hero would get booed for, the GWF crowd squealed in delight as Krakan’s face rang off the post!
Warrior rolled Krakan into the ring and, with no wasted motion, leapt to the top rope and delivered an emphatic NOVA LAUNCH, and ending the nightmare scenario of a Society of Death Universal Champion!
RESULT: Star Warrior def. Invincible Krakan with the NOVA LAUNCH (Krakan +3)
Warrior flexed his muscles for the adoring crowd, pumping his fist in celebration of a decisive victory. Wolf appeared behind Star Warrior before long, and when it was clear Wolf wasn’t here to shake hands, Warrior went nose-to-nose with the lone Wolf as Galactic Security jumped the barricade and entered the ring to separate the two, with Wolf raising an outstretched hand to threaten Warrior with the SAVAGE FACE CLAW!
Killer Queen/Vanity vs. Ghengis Khan/Mutant
The GWF fans treated the SOD members a bit like a laughingstock after their elimination from the tournament, though Mutant was still able to rile some Pulsar fans up.
Killer Queen and Vanity actually got a warmer response than usual, just because the Society of Death was so hated. Mutant showed once again that the damage they can do is no joke as he made short work of Killer Queen, dropping the punk with a big Skullcrusher. Vanity tried to break up the early pin but Khan made sure it counted by taking Vanity out with a TWIN THRUST!
RESULT: Ghengis Khan/Mutant def. Killer Queen/Vanity (Mutant>Queen with a Skullcrusher)
“Big Magic” Shane Matthews approached Pulsar in the GWF Heroes locker room.
“Hey, I saw what those Society of Death goons did to your face and I definitely saw what they did to your friends. I may be about as agile as a tank, but if you want some help, we can make it a tag match against those jerks.”
Pulsar, not saying a word, looked Matthews up and down and, with a shrug, extended a hand.
“Let’s take care of business, boss,” Matthews said, shaking the Last of the Flying Titans’ hand to seal the deal.
GWF Universal Title Tournament Quarterfinal MASSIF VS. EXO-KING
Massif didn’t waste any time going after Exo-King, but once Exo-King got an early reversal, the match became a war. Both big men battered each other in the turnbuckles, with the action never often coming to the center of the ring as both men hammered the hell out of each other.
Massif dropped Exo-King with a Power Slam and followed it up with a big VOLCANIC DROP, but Exo-King would not be put away so easily!
Again, the fight went into the corners, and Exo-King seemed to be getting the better of Massif, but when Exo-King flew off the top turnbuckle with a flying body crusher, Massif delivered a crushing head butt to Exo-King in mid-air!
With Exo-King likely concussed, Massif took the opportunity to go to the sky again and delivered another VOLCANIC DROP to reach the semis!
RESULT: Massif def. Exo-King with the VOLCANIC DROP (Exo-King +5, Massif +1)
A Galaxian Media rep caught up with Thantos before the main event with Commander Sam and asked him if the Chamber of Wisdom’s prediction by naming the opening round of the Universal tournament GWF Rise of the Heroes would come true tonight. Thantos said nothing, palming the reporter’s face in his hand and shoving him away as Thantos went to the ring teleporter.
GWF Universal Title Tournament Quarterfinal Thantos vs. Commander Sam
Sam really solidified his spot as tough old son of a bitch in this match.
He was much more up to the challenge of Thantos than in the two’s previous meeting, absorbing Thantos’ offense and dishing out plenty in return, though he couldn’t seem to get Thantos in a pinning predicament.
Thantos couldn’t keep Sam down though, kicking out of a Satanic Skull Smasher and reaching the ropes to break up a sleeper hold attempt, the same sleeper that knocked Sam out in the first meeting.
Commander Sam rallied, nailing a Peacemaker slingshot but once again could not keep Thantos’ shoulders pinned to the mat. Thantos slipped out of a cobra clutch suplex and suddenly locked in the sleeper hold again! Sam had not prepared for this reapplication of the hold, and, despite his best efforts, Sam was once again put to sleep by the Evil Gamesmaster.
RESULT: Thantos def. Commander Sam with a sleeper hold (Commander Sam +3)
Thantos jokingly yelled, “Nurse! Get this man his medications!” as the crowd, as is typical, booed Thantos from end-to-end of the GWF Arena. Thantos paid no mind, knowing that the biggest challenge of this tournament, literally, was waiting in the semis with Massif.
Commander Sam received a rousing ovation after trying to push Thantos to the limit, and was about to leave the GWF Arena when a figure teleported in in front of Sam--
BRUTE!
Brute destroyed Sam with a DECAPITATOR and stood over Sam’s body, leaning in to scream in his face:
“YOU. BRUTE. CAGE.”
Brute teleported out as the Card came to a close.
RESULT: Beast-Rider def. Actagon with the BULLDOG RIDE (Actagon +1, Beast-Rider +2)
RESULT: Wolf def. Comrade Terror with the SAVAGE FACE CLAW (Terror +3)
RESULT: Star Warrior def. Invincible Krakan with the NOVA LAUNCH (Krakan +3)
RESULT: Ghengis Khan/Mutant def. Killer Queen/Vanity (Mutant>Queen with a Skullcrusher)
RESULT: Massif def. Exo-King with the VOLCANIC DROP (Exo-King +5, Massif +1)
RESULT: Thantos def. Commander Sam with a sleeper hold (Commander Sam +3)

DEIMOS -- The Chamber of Wisdom has issued some statements in advance of Card No. 7 from the GWF Arena:
“Following Brute’s attack of Commander Sam, a Cosmic Cage Match has been signed, but we have special-ordered a cage with a roof. The last thing we want is a man the size of Brute any higher up than the top turnbuckle as we have fans and GWF property to protect.”
“To account for Brute’s size, we have made the cage larger as well to encompass the entire ringside area. This will alow these two massive men to wage war while keeping our fans safe from the collateral carnage.”
“The match will not end when one wrestler exits the cage, but rather when one wrestler makes the other submit or pins his opponent in the ring. There must be a finish, and no outside interference will be permitted to make sure that neither wrestler has any excuses at the end of this war.”
Card No. 7, Early April 2087 Preview
Carnage in a Cage Commander Sam vs. Brute
In what should be an epic war, the Gladiator will finally get his chance at ultraviolence when he takes on the veteran member of the Federation Defense Fighters.
GWF Universal Title Tournament Semifinals Thantos vs. Massif Star Warrior vs. Wolf
Thantos faces his biggest challenge yet and two fan favorites collide but only two wrestlers will compete for the Universal Title!
Titan Death Match Omega vs. Death Knight
Both competitors have been inconsistent at best, but this match will truly put them to the test. Omega could finally put this Death Knight business behind him, but it'll take all that the GWF Keeper of the Code's got.
Shane Matthews/Pulsar vs. Ghengis Khan/Mutant (w/ Invincible Krakan)
"Big Magic" is reaching out to try and help fight the Society of Death alongside Pulsar. How will these two co-exist, even with a common enemy?

Great cards so far. Enjoyed getting caught up on your fed. Love the rivalry between Sam and the Gladiators, as well as the tragic tale of the Titans. I've always been a fan of the Titans, especially Pulsar, so here's hoping something goes his way in the next card. Looking forward to the awesome semi-final matches. Star Warrior vs. Wolf should be fun, but Thantos vs. Massif has upset written all over it!
