This looks like another great character... I'm really wondering if Tom has any plans to turn any one of these guys into a major player down the road... Would be cool to watch that type of evolution...

Not quite as fun as Swerve but still a very solid addition. I won't be running much of FTR on its own but they'll see plenty of action in my GWF.

Not quite as fun??...... Use your imagination. I see a young 'future' G.W.F. Kurt Angle getting ready to take his lumps before he becomes a main eventer some day.

Swerve is just one of the most different characters Tom has ever created. No one was going to be as interesting to me but I do really like Blue Chip and I think the set is a must buy already.

This set is a must have for sure.
That's true, wouldn't be suprised if a couple of these guys start a long epic career in the GWF.
Could be a Cetus version of Bob Backlund, who knows?

I could see Blue Chipper becoming the new main villain. Maybe going the way of Thantos, being scarred by a current main eventer and making his way to being the biggest player in the villain camp.

The only thing I hate about this upcoming set is the name of the developmental organization, FTR. I'm currently working on a novel based on my fantasy LWF wrestler The Barnestormer's 2003-2005 feud with Nick Bockwinkle (when he had two masked thugs who later turned out to be Heartland Wrestling Association alumni "High IQ" Quentin Lee and Ala Hussein, the team of Foreign Intelligence, kidnap the Barnestormer's valet/girlfriend, Tina Ambrose, dress her in a dog suit and force her to perform "stupid pet tricks" before each and every one of Bockwinkle's matches, leading to the epic LWF's first ever Shock Collar Match in which Tina was supposed to have turned on the Barnestormer during the match...but I digress). I wanted the fictional protagonist who'll be based on the Barnestormer, Jason Gamble, to be signed to the fictional Global Wrestling Entertainment's developmental brand, which I had wanted to call FTR. However, when I found out that Tom's going to be using the name for an upcoming set, I was forced to think of another name for the GWE's developmental brand, which I'll now be calling N-GEN, or the "Next GENeration of GWE superstars". In a way, it can also be seen as a pun of the word "engine", and N-GEN's weekly television program could have some sort of motor vehicle engine reference in its name.

N-GEN will probably work much better anyways, since it's as close to NXT as I can get without worrying about copyright infringement.
