Backstage Commissioner Carter is working on paperwork when Morpheus enters.

Morpheus: What are you going to do about Night of Champions?

Commissioner Carter: Whatever do you mean?

Morpheus: You announced on GWF Network that Raven will be challenging for the Galactic title, yet Raven holds the IP championship and Matador has yet to get his rematch.

Commissioner Carter: Ah, yes I see the concern. Not to worry. Raven will be defending the IP title at Night of Chamions. (Morpheus smirks) Against Alpha Force in a title versus title match.

-Boxer cornered Darkos and worked him over with punches then after a series of Sledgehammer’s and Jawbuster’s Boxer hit the TKO as Nexus sent Whiplash into Enigma as the referee counted. (Tokens: Boxer: 1)

Backstage: Cid Profit is with PN News who is angry that Vengeance was allowed to take his place at Reach for the Stars and not be punished. News says tonight he is ready for the convict.

-Vengeance spent too much time mocking News and picked him up twice from near falls. Vengeance used the Eye Cleaver several times in the match but News came back and after a near count out News with a belly to belly suplex hit the BROKEN RECORD for a third time and got the three. Vengeance tried to attack News after the match but the Rapmaster rolled out of the ring and left thru the crowd.

Backstage: Johnny Rocket is with Morpheus and Superiority Complex and Rocket asked why they didn’t try and fight the Gladiators at War of the Worlds. Skinhead said the time wasn’t right. “Besides we’re not done beating those Geeks.”

-Solid action but Skinhead kept frustrating Proteus and unseen by the referee while out of the ring, Skinhead with a wicked chair shot then tossed Proteus back in the ring and a tag saw the PERFECT TAG FINISHER and a three count. (Tokens: Actagon: 2 – Proteus: 4 – Skinhead: 2 – Prodigy: 2)

Commissioner Carter was about to speak with the crowd when Brute and Massacre interrupted him Massacre said they’ve heard nothing but they lucked into the tag title match as they didn’t beat Superiority Complex. Massacre said they knew the rumors were started by the punks and wanted a match with them tonight. Commissioner Carter agreed since Superiority Complex bailed on their match at War of the Worlds.

Superiority Complex w/Morpheus vs. Gladiators w/Thunder
-Brute was just too much as he overpowered both Skinhead and Prodigy and the Gladiators started tagging quickly and after two CLEANSING’S from Massacre the DECAPITATOR to a dazed Prodigy got the three count as Morpheus found Thunder in his way. (Tokens: Skinhead: 2 – Prodigy: 3)

Backstage: Cid Profit shrinks back as Carmilla stands with The Reborn. The masked monster’s arm flares with the Hellfire several times as Carmilla she wants to thank US Patriot for stepping to test the Reborn as Terak wasn’t a test as the referee had been weak willed.

-Patriot hit the ring throwing punches but Reborn overpowered him and was choking him to death ignoring the referees count. (Tokens: N/A)

Code of Honor rushed out and fought Reborn but he was too strong and tossed Justice out of the ring and hit At-Las with the HELLFIRE CLOTHESLINE. He was going to attack more but Carmilla called him off and she smirked at Ms. Liberty who was tending Patriot.

Backstage: Johnny Rocket is with the Gamesmasters as they are ready to head to the ring to face Asylum. Warrior says they are unorthodox and not to be taken lightly. Thantos snorts about nothing about Psycho is light.

-A series of reversals leaves fans dizzy and no one sees the HELLFIRE as Bishop Hell rolls Defender up for a three count. (Tokens: Hell: 1)

Bishop Hell raised the Holovision belt and engulfed it in Hellfire while laughing and taunting Lear and Defender. King Lear was arguing with the referee about the Hellfire.

Backstage: Morpheus is arguing with Commissioner Carter about Chaos and Janus not receiving a match tonight and Carter agreed making a match right now against Wolf and Iron Mane. Morpheus was not pleased

Janus the Overman & Chaos w/Morpheus vs. Wolf & Iron Mane w/Amazonia
-A brutal encounter as neither side was backing down and when Wolf reversed out o fthe BOW OF DEFEAT and locked on the SAVAGE FACE CLAW which saw Janus and Iron Mane in the ring brawling and the referee was tossed and shoved aside. (Tokens: Wolf: 6 – Mane: 3 – Janus: 3 – Chaos: 4)

Spike came to the ring and called out Holocaust. Spike said the bug zapper eliminated him at War of the Worlds so now they are both fresh, Spike wants to defend the NLW title against the man who robbed him of his title shot for the Galactic title. Holocaust came out ready to fight.

-Back and forth with a few near fall, neither man able to get their finisher. Spike after a brawl on the floor didn’t see Mace attack Holocaust then roll him into the ring and duck and Spike with the Atomic Spike got the three count. (Tokens: Spike: 1 – Holocaust: 2)

Mace rolled into the ring and started pummeling Holocaust when Raven and Dreggs hit the ring and tackled Mace. Spike stood watching as WAR was self destructing when Vengeance attacked with a stun rod rescuing Mace. Vengeance tossed the stun rod to Spike and WAR recovered seeing him with the weapon. They went after him forcing him to hit them then retreat. The show ends with a smirking Vengeance dragging Mace to the back.

Backstage: Cid Profit was with Amazonia who says tonight she’s going to face Xia and try and get through to her former friend.

Amazonia vs. Xia
-Amazonia was on fire countering and reversing quickly getting several surprise near falls out of the buckles, off the ropes and from the top rope. A wild brawl on the floor nearly saw them counted out and Amazonia finally ended it with the AMAZON ATTACK getting the three count. (Tokens: Xia: 4 – Amazonia: 1)

Backstage: Splatter paced and said War of the Worlds is done and while Goldberg won Splatter claims victory as the so called monster is gone. Splatter says he’s been offered a contract on Soultaker and is going to look him up.

-Soultaker worked Splatter over quickly and caught him with the SOUL STEALER putting the hatchet man out. (Tokens: N/A)

-Animal Pack isolated Dynamo with quick tags. Badger with a BURROW BLAST saw Mattock pull him out of the ring and hit him with a steel chair. (Tokens: Dynamo: 2)

Wildcat vs. Cannibal the Headhunter
-Cannibal spent the match bad mouthing and punishing Wildcat picking him up from pins or releasing the Spinecracker. Wildcat off the ropes with an awesome pelee kick took over and hit a WILDCAT STRIKE getting a three count. (Tokens: Wildcat: 5)

Cannibal tried to attack Wildcat after the match but the young Neptunian managed to escape thru the crowd.

Morpheus was in the ring with Matador and talked about Commissioner Carter was taking away Matador’s rightful rematch for the IP title. Carter appeared on the Holo-tron and said if Matador didn’t wish to wait until Lord of the Ring then he was going to make the IP championship rematch in the main event, tonight. Matador said he would take the belt back plucking it from Raven.

The Reborn w/Black Mamba vs. Terak the Beast Rider
-Terak with a Cropper Slam nearly got a three count right away. Reborn used his power but Terak weathered the assault and after a slingshot hit the BARBARIAN SHUFFLE to get the three count. (Tokens: Reborn: 1)

Backstage: King Lear says Bishop Hell’s reign ends tonight. He says the vile trickster will bow and kneel to him.

Bishop Hell held up the belt and said he was the greatest. Dragonmaster came out and said only one day separated them from sharing that honor and next week Dragonmaster said he was coming for the Holovision title.

-The match started with a handshake and went back and forth with tags fast and no one kept control beyond a move. Thantos locked Quasar in the MASTERLOCK when Superiority Complex came out and attacked Pulsar in front of the referee. (Tokens: Thantos: 4 – Warrior: 3 – Quasar: 4 – Pulsar: 2)

-The match lasted three moves when the Reborn and Patriot got into the ring and the referee threw the match out.

Backstage: Raven says he doesn’t have a problem facing Matador tonight. He says he understands the man’s frustration. He speaks about Night of Champions and is looking forward to facing Alpha Force in a title vs. title match and winning the Galactic title for the third time.

-Back and forth, counter and reversal. Morpheus was ejected from ringside as Raven countered the BULLWHIP and went for the BROADSWORD but Matador countered and tried for the BULLWHIP but Raven countered hit the BLADERUNNER for a three count. (Tokens: Raven: 6 – Matador: 5)

Raven held up the IP title and using the ropes for support and didn’t see Vengeance from behind with a leather strap until the former convict started whipping him. Vengeance with the LETHAL CATAPULT and held up the IP title showing his intentions as the show ended.

-Prodigy was having a hard time with Actagon but neither could keep control long. The match spilled out of the ring and Skinhead with a steel chair wiped out Actagon and the referee called for the bell (Tokens: N/A)

-They fought hard with stretches of one or the other in control. Several near falls and the fight spilled out of the ring where they hit each other with chairs. (Tokens: Dreggs: 6 – Vengeance: 6)

-The match was slow as Jack hit the DIAMOND CUT on Gemini which brought Mesmer and Queen into the ring and all four fought ignoring the referee. (Tokens: Gemini: 1)

Backstage: Ms. Liberty held up the Dawnstar and said at Night of Champions she was fighting Carmilla once again. Tonight she had Cassandra and knew that the premier valet was a fight and if Carmilla hadn’t locked in her rematch tonight would see her defending the Dawnstar.

-Liberty was fast and got a near fall off the ropes with a sunset flip then a reverse cradle. Cassandra escaped out of the ring but Liberty with a dive thru the ropes tossed Cassandra back in where she was hit with the LIBERATOR getting the three count. (Tokens: Cassandra: 2)

The lights flickered as Carmilla appeared at ringside. She pointed at the Dawnstar and yelled “Next Week”

Titan Power w/Trainer Jim vs. Assassin Empire w/Enigma
-Boxer was ferocious pummeling Whiplash with punches. A Jawbuster got a two count. Whiplash came back and hit the Backside Beheading. More action as Darkos got into the ring and beat Boxer around the ring. outside the ring Enigma with a running dropkick off the top of the barricade to Boxer and back in the ring saw the Assassins hit a double team as Darkos with a waist lock and Whiplash with the Backside Beheading. Nexus barely made the save and Darkos tossed Boxer from the ring only to have Boxer guillotine him on the top rope and tag Nexus who hit a dropkick off the turnbuckle and get a three count. Backstage: Guile was protesting to Commissioner Carter about Amazonia laying hands on him in an undignified manner. Carter said he had a solution and told Guile to go to the ring. Carter summoned Amazonia to his office.

Reynard B. Guile was in the ring waiting. He told the fans Commissioner Carter understood the behavior exhibited by his darling Amazonia was intolerable and was going to have her apologize. Commissioner Carter appeared on the Holo-tron and tells Guile he hasn’t arranged an apology, he’s arranged a match between Guile and Amazonia. As he finished Amazonia hit the ring at a run.

-Guile managed some offense but would apologize each time until Amazonia countered and piled on an assault a piledriver led to the AMAZON ATTACK and a three count. (Tokens: Amazonia: 1)

-The old rivals fought back and forth yet neither team could keep control. Both sides with quick tags and the Gladiators finally hit the DECAPITATOR when the bell rang. (Tokens: Actagon: 5 – Proteus: 6 – Brute: 4 – Massacre: 5)

Raven vs. Vengeance
-As usual the Gladiator/WAR fights were something and Vengeance was free with the Eye Cleaver. Raven and Vengeance’s fight spilled out of the ring and they were brawling into the crowd as the referee counted them out. (Tokens: Raven: 9 – Vengeance: 6)

Backstage: The camera shows Mace and Holocaust brawling in the hanger as shuttles arrive. Fans watch as the two fight amidst the parked vehicles and Mace tries to use a pipe he ripped from the wall but misses denting the shuttle. Local military police arrived as the Bug Hut was part of the military base.

Death Blades w/Jakata vs. Demons of Hydra w/Enigma
-It was short as the Demons on a switch took over from a confused Zakata and after a near fall hit the FINAL ORACLE while Soultaker was chasing Enigma. (Tokens: Hydra: 1 – Zakata: 1)

Poison Dragon vs. Zuul
-Dragon fought hitting quickly but Zuul with bad breath and several attacks had the fight spill out of the ring and both women got into a catfight neither listening to the referee’s count. (Tokens: N/A)

-Ram hammered Psycho several times and the big man rolled over Ram. A tag to Frenzy who came off the top rope but was caught and Ram tagged Badger who blasted Frenzy with the BURROW BLAST getting a three count. (Tokens: N/A)

Backstage: Commissioner Carter was talking with Holocaust and informed him that he had a match with Mace in the ring. “I’ve spoken with Mace and these fights outside the arena must stop. I got informed that the two of you fought at the Star Port and you both will be missing as you both will be standing before the Magistrate this week.

Mace vs. Holocaust
-Holocaust had control and quickly went for the SHOCKWAVE but it backfired. Some more back and forth action but Mace tossed Holocaust out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair and attacked him over and over and the referee ended it and security hit the ring. (Tokens: Mace: 1 – Holocaust: 1)
Winner: Holocaust via disqualification

Dreggs came out to stop Mace but was attacked by Vengeance. Security had to break them up and Commissioner Carter came out saying on Saturday Night #560 he was making a tag team match Mace & Vengeance against Holocaust & Dreggs. He wished both men luck at their court appearance this week.

Backstage: Johnny Rocket is with the Gamesmasters as they talked about being the top tag team in the GWF holding both sets of belts. Thantos pointed out they’ve had the IP Tag belts since May and the GWF Tag belts since Galacticon. Warrior said he’d like to hold them until the next Galacticon. Omega said with the talent of these two men if could be the greatest tag team reign in the GWF’s history. Thantos said the Gladiators needed to remember they’ve had their number since the start.

Gamesmasters* w/Omega vs. Gladiators w/Thunder
-The match went back and forth, Brute’s lack of agility saw the Gamesmasters use that to an advantage while Massacre showed his ruthlessness. Numerous near falls, reversals, near count outs, disqualifications and hot tags had fans on their feet. Warrior missed the COSMIC BIG BANG and the Gladiators hit the DECAPITATOR just as the bell rang. (Tokens: Warrior: 6 – Thantos: 5 – Brute: 5 – Massacre: 6)

Discipline, Courage, Forgiveness, Compassion, Honor, Wisdom. Loyalty and Respect. “Carmilla is the opposite of each point.” Liberty headed to the ring.

As the Dawnstar was lowered Reborn entered the ring and was aiming to blast Liberty with the HELLFIRE CLOTHESLINE when Sam attacked him. Carmilla called the Reborn off before he attacked Liberty as the Baroness of Blood held up the Dawnstar with a laugh.

-Another brutal match between the two rivals. Amazonia chased Guile into the ring causing a distraction and Hunter with an AMBUSH to Wolf got the three count. (Tokens: Hunter: 3 – Wolf: 2)

-Hell and Dragonmaster fought back and forth, Hell had a hard time with Dragonmaster’s speed several time. Both got near falls but Dragonmaster after being tossed out of the ring dragged Hell out and returned to the ring catching Hell coming back in with the DRAGON DROP and the three count with five seconds on the clock. -Prodigy and Skinhead attacked before the bell and punished Red but picked him up from several pin attempts. A desperation tag to Creature saw Skinhead abused in the ring and when he escaped out of the ring he was blasted thru the barricade by Tendron. Skinhead barely beat the count and walked into DINNERTIME as Red threw his body at Prodigy and Skinhead tapped out. (Tokens: Red: 3 – Skinhead: 4 – Prodigy: 1)

Backstage: Johnny Rocket was standing between Raven and Alpha Force. They talked about their respect for each other and the title for title was interesting in that Raven was getting his rematch for the Galactic title while Alpha if he won this would become the sixth Triple crown champion in the GWF. Raven and Alpha shook hands and headed for the ring.

-This was a war. Alpha and Raven exchanged control frequently and the fight spilled out of the ring several times surprising fans with the ferocity. Raven with a super piledriver on the floor saw Alpha nearly counted out. Alpha missed the ULTIMATE FORCE nearly a dozen times before locking it in only for Raven to counter and come back with the BLADE RUNNER. As the referee counted Chaos, Matador and Janus pulled the referee while Janus hit the official with a savatte kick, Chaos attacked Alpha while Matador delivered a BULLWHIP to Raven. The match was tossed out. (Tokens: Alpha: 6 – Raven: 8)

Alpha tried to make a comeback but Janus from behind with a chair and Alpha was in the BOW OF DEFEAT soon after. Dreggs and Holocaust rushed the ring as did the Greek Gods and Star Warrrior & Thantos but they were attacked by Brute, Massacre, Prodigy, Skinhead, Vengeance and Mace. Fans were fleeing as the show ends with a massive brawl that saw more brawls backstage as the villains seemed determined to settle scores and security being aided by MP’s started trying to break up the fights.

Wild action as always. Sad to see Mace go to the dark side as he was always one I had a soft spot for for some reason. Another of my fave's is Spike and glad to see him doing so well.

Pity that Alpha Force and Raven were unable to reach a decisive conclusion... Looks like that encounter was shaping up to be an absolute classic... Looking forward to the inevitable matchup pitting the two champions against Chaos and Matador!

I would have loved to see the conclusion to the Alpha/Raven fight but it is what the dice rolled (stupid dice) but Matador wants the IP belt back and Chaos wants what he wants and you can't beat that as no one tells a seven foot Indestructible Force what he can't do.
now off to try and work on Red Dead Redemption 2 as its getting addicting before I return by friends ps4 Monday.

-Zuul stunned Dragon with bad breath and Mamba tore her apart before hitting WITCH CRAFT and forcing Dragon to tap out. (Tokens: N/A)

Xia with the boulder crush and the XIA STOMP to Jakata was stopped when Amazonia rushed the ring. the two former friends had a stare down when Amazonia challenged Xia to a loser leaves the GWF. The two warrior women were on a collision course.

-Reborn seemed to struggle with the unorthodox style of the Creeper who got a near fall off a heart punch and later backslide off the ropes. Reborn exploded with the HELLFIRE CLOTHESLINE getting the three count. (Tokens: Reborn: 2)

Trouble came when Guile got involved and tried to trip Psycho but got Dynamo and Psycho with the pancake masher tagged Frenzy and they hit the PSYCHOTHERAPY to get a three count as Mattock was distracted by arguing with Guile. Commissioner Carter was in the ring as the show started, the entire GWF roster was on stage with the villains on the stage and aisle and the heroes around the ringside area.

Commissioner Carter: Night of Champions…(shakes his head)…the behavior exhibited by the roster was unacceptable. We were guests on a military base. Mace and Holocaust have huge fines as well as community service. The actions by the Elite interrupting the main event and the roster sized brawl to end the night…it took me nearly the whole week to convince the Board NOT to start handing out pink slips. Lord of the Ring is weeks away and this is how we’re going to end the year? Not going to happen. So here is what is happening. Starting tonight no free roaming the backstage area. The GWF is under lockdown. Wrestlers will be escorted from their locker rooms to the entrance then back after their matches. Invincible Kraken that means your team especially, your sabotaging the security last week wasn’t hard to see. And tonight several matches have been made. The main event is Raven and Alpha Force against Matador of M83 and Chaos. Also tonight we have the third match of the Best of Seven series, the Greek Gods taking on the Gladiators, a six-man tag team match between Janus, Prodiy and Skinhead against the Real Wild Things. And we are kick off the show with a tag team match between Vengeance and Mace against the team of Holocaust and Dreggs. Now…as I say to my grandchildren when they misbehave…Go to your in this case Locker Rooms and think about what you have done.

Commissioner Carter watched as security moved the villains out fist and then the heroes before leaving the four men in the arena for their match.

Holocaust & Dreggs vs. Mace & Vengeance
-Dreggs didn’t hesitate when fighting Mace and they brawled outside the ring. Vengeance with the Eye Cleaver tortured Holocaust. All four men were in and out of the ring often. Holocaust survived the LETHAL CATAPULT twice Dreggs managed to save him and during the huge melee Holocaust with the SHOCKWAVE (+3) stunned Mace and Dreggs covered him for the three count. (Tokens: Mace: 4 – Dreggs: 6 – Vengeance: 5 – Holocaust: 8)

Vengeance was protesting that neither Mace or Dreggs were the legal men when security escorted them to the back.

Amazonia vs. Xia
LOSER LEAVES THE GWF
LAST WOMAN STANDING
-Was a war as Xia’s power met Amazonia’s speed. They fought out of the ring and into the crowd, the referee letting them fight. Xia put Amazonia thru the barricade and later Amazonia caught her with a superkick knocking her off the stage by the entrance. Xia grabbed her sword and tried to stab Amazonia but missed and hit a power conduit. The arena lights went out but emergency generators brought up partial lighting in time to see Amazonia counter the TOMBSTONE POWERSLAM and hit the AMAZON ATTACK off the stage into media table. The referee counted and Xia didn’t even twitch. (Accumulated Tokens: Xia: 9 – Amazonia:10)
Winner: Amazonia via knock out

Security escorted Wolf out and helped a bloody Amazonia to the medical center as Carmilla, Black Mamba and Zuul were brought out and stood over Xia. “Well she served her purpose.” Carmilla said and walked away. Zuul shared a look with Mamba. “Do you need a test subject?” the demoness asked the Voodoo Queen.

-This was a fight, neither keeping control beyond a move. The series of reversals left fans dizzy as Wolf finally caught Hunter with a raised knee. Hunter got control with a series of Hunter’s Claw and Animal Traps before hitting the AMBUSH four times finally getting the three count. (Tokens: Wolf: 4 – Hunter: 1)

Raven & Alpha Fore vs. Chaos & Matador of M83
-A literal war as no one backed down. The end came after a huge melee and a parade of finishers as Raven hit the BLADERUNNER on Chaos, Matador hit the BULLWHIP on Raven, Alpha went for the ULTIMATE FORCE but missed and went for a cross body block but Matador with the Matador Death Run but Raven with the BROADSWORD only for Chaos to go with the BOW OF DEFEAT and Raven tapped out. Commissioner Carter was in the ring with a microphone.

Commissioner Carter: It makes me happy to announce that the GWF is offering this Christmas will have a small holiday show, free on GWF Network. Four matches have been signed and the main event is a 10-man tag team match. The captains will be announced next week and the night of the event they will each pick and open four gifts, inside the gift is a GWF Collector’s card and the wrestler on the card will be their partner. The winners will then get title matches on New Years Day at Wrestling Classic. (Morpheus interrupts as he appears on the Holo-tron)

Mesmer arrived in the ring via a portal and he wasn’t alone as Bishop Hell arrived with him. Mesmer with the microphone announced that he was going to take the Holovision title as last week showed that Dragonmaster was a weak champion. Bishop Hell laughed as he took a place at ringside and security arrived nervous as Dragonmaster arrived.

-Hot tags as both teams made nearly no mistakes. The ferocity saw the referee go down when Demon shoved Quasar into him. Hydra took out Trainer Jim with a suicide dive as Enigma attacked Pulsar with his second mask. When the referee recovered he saw the Demons tag and hit the FINAL ORACLE for the three count. Backstage: Cid Profit was about to ask Superiority Complex a question when Skinhead took the mic and shoved him aside. “We are being passed up for claiming what it ours.” Prodigy said there was a conspiracy keeping them from the tag team titles and they were going to take it out on Titan Power.

-Skinhead was cocky and nearly lost as Nexus with the TITAN DROP only for Prodigy to attack him allowing Skinhead to make the tag and they hit the PERFECT TAG FINISHER and got the three count on Nexus while Skinhead took out Boxer with a low blow. -Dreadnaught was just dominating Red who managed to get several good hits but never got Dreadnaught in position for anything lasting. Dreadnaught threw Red out of the ring and Tendron tried to hit the Transevolved Terror with a chair but Dreadnaught blocked it, took the chair and blasted Red forcing the referee to call for the bell. Backstage: Cid Profit was with Terak the Beast Rider asking him about last night. Before Terak could answer Janus attacked him and delivered a beat down. Throwing Terak into a wall Janus was going to continue when Stalker arrived and behind him was Creeper and Wildcat. Seeing the numbers against him Janus walked away.

Backstage: Johnny Rocket was with the GWF Galactic Champion Alpha Force and they were talking about Lord of the Ring and Alpha talked about Spike who won his chance at War of the Worlds winning Reach for the Stars. Alpha said Spike was a wrecking machine when he was focused and Alpha has been training. He was interrupted by Chaos. Insults went back and forth when they agreed to a match tonight.

Backstage: Commissioner Carter watched the replay of the Gladiator/Asylum match and sent a staff member off to summon someone to his office.

US Patriot w/Commander Sam vs. Gemini Seer of the Future w/Collector
-The two former friends tore into each other exchanging control. Patriot rolled out of the ring and got a face full of white powder from the Collector. The referee saw it and called for the bell. (Tokens: N/A)

Sam with a chair stood before Gemini who looked to continue to attack but the Seer of the Future backed away and with the Collector left the ringside area.

Greek Gods w/Omega vs. Mercenaries w/Invincible Kraken
-Back and for as both teams barely kept control for a move or two. Actagon managed the only near fall on Soldier and then they seemed stuck on trading backbreakers and head butts and into the ropes. Fans watched as the bell rang not surprised. (Tokens: Soldier: 1)

-As always a violent encounter. Wolf got a near fall off a running clothesline but later a collision in the buckles saw Hunter gain control and after a series of running elbows hit the AMBUSH and get the three count. (Tokens: Hunter: 1)

Guile was bouncing around telling everyone Hunter was just one win away from ending the series.

-The Titans were in full control and their tags were fluid and on time as they isolated Whiplash getting several near falls. Darkos managed to tag in but a reversal by Pulsar saw the Titan Drop and a tag to Quasar who hit the HIGH ROLLER get a three count as Pulsar kept Enigma away. (Tokens: Whiplash: 4)

Commissioner Carter came to the ring and announced that the tag team title match at Lord of the Ring is now a four team elimination match as the Gamesmasters would defend the titles against the Gladiators, Superiority Complex and Asylum. Carter also announced that the holiday special on Christmas hosted on the GWF Network will be four matches the main event is a 10-man tag team unity rules match. The captain of the first team will be Chaos while the captain of the second team will be King Lear. they will open their gifts to learn who their partners will be. Commissioner Carter said the winning team will receive title matches at Wrestling Classic.

Backstage: Cid Profit is with Mace & Vengeance who talk about the growing feud with the remnants of WAR. Mace boasts he is the big man and driving force behind his former team. Vengeance is the leader of the Gladiators and the two of them were going to show everyone that WAR was lucky to win Sudden Death. “Without me, they have nothing.” Mace said as they headed to the ring.

Mace & Vengeance w/Thunder vs. Dreggs & Holocaust
-This was a sick display as Mace and Vengeance punished Dreggs who fought back but Mace cut his former partner down. Holocaust tried breaking it up which saw Vengeance use the Eye Cleaver and Dreggs four times in a row as the former convict taunted Holocaust. Mace with the WAR Gun pinned Dreggs as Thunder held Holocaust’s ankle preventing the save. (Tokens: Dreggs: 7 – Mace: 1 – Vengeance: 1)

Johnny Rocket in a Santa suit stood before a monitor in the media center and welcomed fans watching at home and those who came to the coldest place on Earth to see this holiday special, where ticket sales went to charity. Rocket said they had four matches but first the opening of the first gifts. Chaos and King Lear were near the Christmas Tree and it was surrounded by gifts of all sizes.
Chaos grabbed a big box and ripped the paper off and the lid. He nodded at the card he saw inside and pocketed it after showing it to Morpheus.
King Lear took an envelope off the tree and opened it pulling out a Christmas card. Opening the card he smiled seeing the partner card inside.
Rocket said tonight the fans were in for a gift as Star Warrior was set to face his brother in the opening match

Star Warrior w/Thantos vs. Alpha Force w/Omega
-Pay per view level match as the brother held nothing back. Warrior with six straight Cosmic Smashes went for the COSMIC BIG BANG but missed. Alpha went for the ULTIMATE FORCE but missed. Back and forth and they ended outside the ring fighting hard and both made it back into the ring beating the count. Warrior again missed the COSMIC BIG BANG allowing Alpha to put his brother down with a running jackhammer and get the three count. (Warrior: 6 – Alpha: 6)

Backstage: King Lear picks a brightly wrapped flat box from under the tree. Opening it he looked in and his eyes widened. Chaos grabbed another big box and flipped the lid off. “This I can work with.”
Johnny Rocket says tis the season that keeps giving as tonight they have the sixth match in the Best of Seven series between Wolf and Bounty Hunter with Hunter in the lead with three wins over Wolf’s two.

Chaos pulled another large gift from the front of the tree. Opening it he laughed and passed it to Morpheus. King Lear pulled another envelope from the tree. Lear smiled seeing the card inside and who his partner would be.

-Patriot and Gemini fought back and forh but after the FREEDOM FLYER Gemini left the ring and walked away taking the count out loss. (Tokens: Gemini: 1)

Backstage: Chaos picked his last gift and passed it to Morpheus. The Natural Disaster looked inside and frowned and tried to put the gift back but was prevented by security. King Lear pulled a red and green jewelry sized box and opened it to laugh.
Rocket asked both men to present their cards with their superstar partners. Chaos went first showing the trading cards for Soultaker, Vengeance, Mace and Quasar.
King Lear presented his cards. Lord Nexus, Red Talon. Janus the Overman and Thantos. Both men left to collect their partners.

Chaos was in trouble when the Alpha Stone failed but Janus refused to touch him and tagged back out right away to Red who hit an Andromeda Drop and the FLYING HEADHUNT nearly getting the win. Chaos rolled out of the ring allowing Vengeance to attack Red but the LETHAL CATAPULT brought Lear in and Vengeance with the Eye Cleaver tagged Soultaker who with the SOUL STEALER had a huge melee. Nexus caught Soultaker with a dropkick off the turnbuckle forcing him to release Lear only for Soultaker to hir Nexus with the DEAD & BURIED. Red with the FLYING HEADHUNT put Soultaker down and he rolled out of the ring. Quasar with a Titan Drop and the HIGH ROLLER to the Avian AniMen. Janus caught Quasar in the GORDIAN KNOT only for Thantos to enter and hit him with a powerbomb and lock on the MASTERLOCK. Mace put the boots to the Gamesmaster and hit the Mace Massacre. Lear with the CORONATION took out Mace and Chaos entered the ring and locked on the BOW OF DEFEAT and the referee loosing who was legal called the match as Lear was tapping out. (Tokens: Lear: 6 – Nexus: 4 – Janus: 2 – Red: 2 – Thantos: 3 – Quasar: 3 – Soultaker: 2 – Mace: 2 – Vengeance: 2 – Chaos: 3)

Commissioner Carter was in the ring and said this was Lord of the Ring weekend with Flashpoint tonight, then Saturday Night tomorrow and then Ignition pre-show Sunday leading into Lord of the ring PPV. He said he was warning the entire roster right now to be on their best behavior. He spoke about Blizzard Brawl and the matches for Wrestling Classic had Chaos getting a Galactic Title shot, Mace & Vengeance getting the GWF Tag team title shot, Quasar was getting an IP title shot and Soultaker had asked for a shot at the Holovision title. Carter wished the fans well and to enjoy the show before heading backstage.

Terak the Beast Rider & the Creeper vs. Superiority Complex w/Morpheus
-Prodigy and Skinhead were too cocky and it cost them when Creeper countered the BAD ATTITUDE from Skinhead and hit THE ELIMINATOR getting a three count as Terak held off Prodigy. (Tokens: Terak: 2 – Creeper: 3 – Prodigy: 1 – Skinhead: 1)

The Greek Gods came to the ring and said they were in their final weeks and wanted to face some of the best tag teams. Actagon said tomorrow night he was facing Lord Nexus with the Iron Man Championship on the line so tonight the Greek Gods wanted to face Titan Power. Nexus and Boxer came to the ring and agreed to face the Greek Gods tonight.

Titan Power vs. Greek Gods
-Friendly match but picked up as Boxer and Proteus went back and forth as Boxer threw a punch only for Proteus to fire right back with a head butt. Chops, punches went back and forth and the crowd was fired up as Actagon and Nexus gave a prelude to their match on Sunday. Nexus hit the TITAN DROP and later Actagon with the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP. The end came when the Greeks with a double team as Proteus with a OVERHEAD TOSS and Actagon off the top rope with a perfect flying splash off the top rope got the three count on Boxer. Backstage: Cid Profit tried to speak with Shatterstar about her recent losses since being put in the women’s division by Morpheus. Shatterstar growled and stormed to the ring and her opponent.

Gamesmasters* w/Omega vs. Mercenaries w/Invincible Kraken
-Soldier and Thantos were at war as the Gamesmaster had trouble several times but made a comeback hitting an awesome ddt off the ropes. A hot tag to Warrior saw him punish Soldier with Meteor Showers and Cosmic Smashes. A missed COSMIC BIG BANG saw Vigilante attacked Warrior with several uses of the POLICE BRUTALITY. The Mercenaries hit the OPERATION AMBUSH but Thantos made the save and dropped Soldier on his head then planted him with a powerbomb. Warrior hit the COSMIC BIG BANG (+2) getting the three count as Omega took out Kraken. (Tokens: Warrior: 5 – Thantos: 5 – Soldier: 6 – Vigilante: 3)

The Gladiators appeared at the entrance and had a stare down with the champions as officials hurried out to prevent any fights.

-only a few moves in and Bishop Hell caught Justice with the HELLFIRE and got the three count as Mesmer and Gemini held off At-Las and Patriot. (Tokens: N/A)

Backstage: Pegasus said its been weeks and Dragonmaster has nowhere to hide. He was taking the Holovision title. “No squirrelly little kung fu move or the time running out will save you.”

Dragonmaster* w/Trainer Jim vs. Pegasus the Powerful w/Reynard B. Guile
-Dragonmaster was all over Pegasus and with a perfect cross body block from the top rope in moments nearly got the three count. Pegasus rolled out of the ring and Dragonmaster flew over the ropes wiping him out. Guile had enough and kicks Dragonmaster in the spine and the referee called for the bell. (Tokens: Pegasus: 1)

Pegasus recovered and yelled at Guile picking him up by his neck and shaking him. Bounty Hunter arrived and Pegasus shoved their manager at him and walked away.

Backstage: Vengeance and Mace are talking about Wrestling Classic and their plans for the tag team titles. Mace said tonight they just make it a holiday of their match against Holocaust & Dreggs. Vengeance laughed. “Ah, the gift that keeps giving as the humans say.”

Mace & Vengeance vs. Holocaust & Dreggs
-Holocaust overpowered Vengeance and after a Savatte kick nearly getting a three count Holocaust with the SHOCKWAVE (+6) got the three count as Dreggs with a drop toe hold sent Mace into the ring steps. (Tokens: Vengeance: 3 – Mace: 2 – Dreggs: 4 –Holocaust: 2)

Backstage: Wolf paced back and forth. “Once again its down to the wire. Once more Hunter you and I will clash. And once more bones, tendons, blood and sweat will be pushed to their limits. Wolf (3-3) vs. Bounty Hunter (3-3)
-Neither man got much out of their early offense and kept countering. Wolf exploded out of the buckles with a running lariat only for Hunter to roll out of the ring. the two fought and the referee counted them both out.
Winner: DOUBLE COUNT OUT

Commissioner Carter came out and said the series was not going to end like this and ordered the match restarted as a No count out match.

Wolf vs. Bounty Hunter
NO COUNT OUT MATCH
-They continued to fight in and out of the ring both getting two counts several times. The match spilled out of the ring and they were ramming each other’s heads off the ring post when they each grabbed chairs and hit each other. The referee called for the bell.
Winner: DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION

Commissioner Carter said this was not happening. He ordered the match restarted as a Titan Death Match “I should have done that right away.” he said as the referee restarted the match for the third (and hopefully) last time.

Wolf vs. Bounty Hunter
TITAN DEATH MATCH
-Both were on their knees exchanging blows several times after collisions off the ropes or buckles. The referee was wiped out by Wolf coming off the top rope when Hunter ducked. Both men went for pins while the referee was down and the referee recovered in time to see Wolf slap on the SAVAGE FACE CLAW in the middle of the ring and drag Hunter to his back as he passed out. The referee called for the bell. (Tokens: Wolf: 9 – Hunter: 10)

Wolf used the ropes to stand as the fans howled for his victory. Incredible Badger and Iron Mane came out and helped the Savage One to the back ignoring Raynard B. Guile as he came out to check on the bloody form of his Bounty Hunter and the show ended as holographic banners reminded fans tomorrow night was Ignition and Lord of the Ring.

Johnny Rocket was in the media center and welcomed fans to the pre-show; Ignition. Rocket said the main event was the Iron Man Championship as Actagon defended against Lord Nexus. He said three other matches were signed and they were kicking things off with a match between Amazonia and Cassandra.

Amazonia vs. Cassandra
-Cassandra had a lot of trouble with the power of Amazonia but managed to hit WHIPS & CHAINS but only got a one count. Amazonia was ruthless beating Cassandra in and out of the ring. Cassandra escaped the ring but Amazonia gave chase only for Cassandra to grab her riding crop and smack her in the face with it the referee had no choice to end this battle. (Tokens: Amazonia: 1)
Winner: Amazonia via disqualification

Media Center: Johnny Rocket said the women fought just as hard as the men. But he said he didn’t think the women could stand up to the monster that Carmilla and her coven unleashed. The Reborn hasn’t been about winning matches, and tonight he was being aimed at the Rapmaster PN News.

-The Reborn with a shove into the turnbuckle a brutal head butt and the DEATHGRIP had News tapping out under a minute. (Tokens: N/A)

Media Center: Johnny Rocket whistled and commented that if the Reborn was focused he could be wearing gold. Rocket talked about the Mercenaries who once again failed to claim the IP Tag belts last night from the Gamesmasters. Kraken had been so sure his team would have won he didn’t sign them to the PPV so he scrambled to get a match and tonight they face the renamed Soul Edge. Both of these teams are in the hunt for tag team gold.

Soul Edge w/Jakata vs. Mercenaries w/Invincible Kraken
-Brutal back and forth as all four seemed focused. Zakata and Soldier mixed it up, Soldier off the top rope with a deathjump but Zakata caught him in an Asian Sleeper but Soldier got to the ropes. Soultaker was tagged in but so was Vigilante and the fight spilled out of the ring and Soultaker with the SOUL STEALER on the floor had Kraken hit the Dead Man with the butt of his rifle even as Jakata rushed around the ring and took out the Hitman with a flying cannonball off the apron. (Tokens: Soldier: 1 – Vigilante: 1)

Media Center: Johnny Rocket said Kraken got caught and it goes down as a win for Soul Edge. Rocket hoped the fans were ready as the Iron Man championship was on the line in the Ignition main event as the Greek God Actagon took on the original Flying Titan Lord Nexus.

Actagon* vs. Lord Nexus
-A handshake before the match started and it went right to action and with several high flying moves Nexus was surprised as Actagon caught him off the top rope and hit a reverse piledriver and went with the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP as Nexus tapped quickly. (A-1 – LN-0). Several more attempts with the sleeper followed but Nexus was prepared and escaped. A long back and forth fight spilled out of the ring and Nexus tossed Actagon into the ring but didn’t make it in time and was counted out. (A-2 – LN:0). After a flying double axe handle Actagon with the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP had Nexus again tapping. (A-3 – LN:0). Nexus came back with TITAN DROP but Actagon kicked out at one. A flying leg scissors and a second TITAN DROP did get the three count. (A-3 – LN: 1). Nexus went for a cross body off the top rope but Actagon caught him with a power slam and got a three count. (A-4 – LN-1). Another drawn out fight a near count out led to Actagon with the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP twice and a win. (A-5 – LN: 1). The fight went back and forth and several near count outs on both sides but Actagon caught Nexus in the GRECIAN SLEEPER GRIP and Nexus struggled but tapped out just as the timer signaled time was up. Johnny Rocket is at the announce table with Cid Profit and welcome the fans to the 8th annual Lord of the Ring. Cid said the lottery had just finished and the teams were being put together. Rocket reminded Cid and those watching that the teams from the first round are still together in the second round. They talked about the title matches and one signed just hours ago was a Cosmic Cage Match for the Holovision title as Dragonmaster was set to defend the title against Pegasus who went right to commissioner Carter after what happened last night in their match. Commissioner made it a cage match. They said another match signed before Ignition was backstage Black Mamba got in Shatterstar’s face and they started a brawl. Security broke it up and Commissioner Carter made a match and it’s the first of the night.

Shatterstar vs. Black Mamba w/the Reborn
-the match went back and forth with Mamba getting several near falls. Shatterstar hit the SHATTERED but the Reborn pulled Mamba out of the ring. later Mamba threw Shatterstar out of the ring and Reborn with a clothesline from hell which was seen by the referee. (Tokens: Shatterstar: 6 – Mamba: 1)

Black Mamba stopped Reborn and they headed backstage as Rocket and Profit talked about what they just saw. Cid said since she was moved to the women’s division the fight seems to have gone out of Shatterstar who had been a two time Star Crossed champion and had the two longest reigns with her first reign at 245 days and had seven solid defenses. Her second reign had been 274 days and had made another seven defenses.
They then talked about the Lord of the Ring’s first round as the lottery tag team set up the first round. The first team out was Proteus and his partner was revealed to be Death’s Head. Their opponents were revealed to be Quasar and Incredible Badger.

1ST ROUND LOTR LOTTERY TAG TEAM MATCH
Proteus & Death’s Head vs. Incredible Badger & Quasar
-There were some communication problems but some how Deaths Head and Proteus won the match as Deaths Head with a kick to the crotch then a FUNERAL MARCH to Badger after a blind tag from Proteus brought the Renegade member into the ring. (Tokens: Badger: 2 – Quasar: 1 – Proteus: 3 – Deaths Head: 3)

Johnny Rocket said Badger and Quasar were robbed as they showed better teamwork. Profit said that didn’t matter as Death’s Head picked his spot and capitalized. The next teams were revealed to be Mesmer & Stalker paired up against Battering Ram and Janus the Overman. Rocket said Janus has been on a roll since capturing the UCSP title while backstage Battering Ram has been argumentative with his whole team, nearly coming to blows with Wolf. Stalker has had some ups and downs as has Mesmer.

Stalker Nomad of Neptune & Mesmer Master of the Black Arts vs. Battering Ram & Janus the Overman
-Stalker was the workhorse for his team as Mesmer would be in for a few moves and tag out. Ram and Janus tagged not often and only when in control. Stalker got a couple of near falls and Mesmer with the EVIL EYE nearly beat Ram but Janus was in and after a bit of work caught Stalker in the GORDIAN KNOT and the Nomad tapped out. (Tokens: Stalker: 4 – Mesmer: 1 – Ram: 3 – Janus: 2)

Cid Profit said Janus is the mega star showing his skill and grace and was his pick to become Lord of the Ring. Rocket said it was a long night ahead and anyone’s game until the final bell. The next lottery teams were revealed as Tendron the Destroyer was paired with Darkos the Deceiver against the surprise pairing of Terak the Beast Rider and Cannibal the Headhunter. Rocket said both teams were dark horses that could win the whole night. Darkos is still the longest reigning No Limits champion and Tendron has been known to pull off impossible wins against all odds. Profit went to talk about the Savage Barbarians as Terak and Cannibal were the longest reigning IP Tag champs but Rocket pointed out that was when Cannibal was using some weird chemical to control Terak. “Now we’ll see if they can work together without mind altering drugs.”

Darkos the Deceiver & Tendron the Destroyer vs. Savage Barbarians
-While they hated each other, Terak and Cannibal functioned as a team. Darkos got a near fall on Terak but Cannibal broke it up. Tendron with the repeated use of the SMOTHERING wore the Headhunter down but couldn’t put him away. Terak with the BARBARIAN SHUFFLE got the three count on Darkos as Cannibal choked Tendron outside the ring. (Tokens: Terak: 4 – Cannibal: 5 – Darkos: 2 – Tendron: 3)

Johnny Rocket said despite the tension and hatred, Terak and Cannibal proved they were still a top team if they worked together as they are the third team entered into the next round. Profit wondered if they could make another run at the IP Tag belts which are firmly around the waists of the Gamesmasters. Rocket laughed and said that was unlikely without a lot of mind altering drugs. The next match was the lottery teams of US Patriot & Vyper against the lottery pair of King Lear & Spaltter.

US Patriot & Vyper vs. King Lear & Splatter
-Odd match with a lot of collisions off the ropes or buckles. Splatter went for Arsenal but Lear stopped him and the hatchet man was blasted by Vyper with the LEVIATHAN and a three count followed. (Tokens: Patriot: 1 – 1 Vyper: 2 – Lear: 2 – Splatter: 3)

Cid Profit said Lear gave up a chance to be a two time Lord of the Ring when he prevented Splatter from using Arsenal. Rocket said Lear’s honor showed and it also kept Splatter from advancing. “Like that maniac needs that kind of stroke.” The next match was set as the lottery team of Vengeance & Whiplash came out. The next team was Code of Honor. Rocket says it seems to happen once a year here as actual partners are drawn and this year it seems to be Lance At-Las & Justice.

Code of Honor vs. Whiplash & Vengeance
-While Justice & At-Las were a regular team, they found the villainous duo difficult. Vengeance was very open with the Eye Cleaver and used it repeatedly. Justice missed the SHOCK PROBATION and Whiplash dragged him to the mat with the THUMBSCREW as Vengeance blindsided At-Las. Justice tapped out. (Tokens: Vengeance: 3 – Whiplash: 4 – At-Las: 3 – Justice: 5)

Johnny Rocket said Vengeance is one of the dirtiest fighters in the GWF and his repeated use of the Eye Cleaver is going to blind someone one of these days. Profit said Code of Honor just kept missing opportunities and without Sam here at ringside there teamwork suffered a bit. The next match was set to start as the lottery teams were shown to be Wildcat & Enigma taking on Chaos & Mace.

Wildcat & Enigma vs. Chaos & Mace
-Power versus speed in this fight and the smaller men threw their bodies at Chaos who avoided the WILDCAT STRIKE and repeatedly applied the BOW OF DEFEAT until Wildcat passed out and Enigma walked away. (Tokens: Wildcat: 7)

Cid Profit commented that this was a David vs. Goliath match up and the pair of David’s forgot their slingshots. Rocket said every time Enigma was in the ring for a move or two would tag out to the exhausted Wildcat who managed to try for his finisher but blew it. The next two lottery teams came out as Dreadnaught & Billy Jo Boxer were set to face Wolf & Chopper Mattock who was replacing the injured Bounty Hunter.

-It was a fight but short as Dreadnaught and Wolf brawled outside the ring and Wolf returned to the ring to catch Dreadnaught in the SAVAGE FACE CLAW and the Transevolved Terror tapped out as Mattock knocked Boxer off the apron. (Tokens: N/A)

Johnny Rocket said the final match of the first round was next as Black Hole Bart & Red Talon were about to face the team of Pulsar Prime and Dreggs. Cid thought this was a squash match.

-Unfamiliarity worked against Dreggs and Pulsar as they missed tags. Red was on fire hitting several of his big moves and an Andromeda Drop saw the Avian AniMan go to the top rope but Pusar caught him with the Titan Drop and pin him but Red kicked out. Pulsar transitioned into the SOLAR STRAIN and Red tapped out. (Tokens: Red: 2 – Bart: 1 – Dreggs: 1 – Pulsar: 2)

Rocket said the 1st round was complete. The second round would see the advancing pairs tag up once more and then the eight remaining would go onto the 3rd round and the twin 4-way eliminations matches. Cid said Janus was going to win.
Rocket talked about Dragonmaster and the Holovision title and his recent struggles as defending champion sometimes getting a lucky last second reversal of fortune. Pegasus came close twice but tonight only one man will escape the cage and be declared the champion

GWF HOLOVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
COSMIC CAGE MATCH
Dragonmaster* vs. Pegasus the Powerful
-Pegasus was aggressive sending Dragonmaster into the cage over and over. Pegasus tried to escape but was taken off the top of the cage with the Titan Drop. Dragonmaster built some momentum and had one leg over the cage top when Pegasus superplexed him off into the ring. a double clothesline off the ropes saw Dragonmaster to his feet first. Both men were bleeding when Dragonmaster hit the DRAGON DROP and Dragonmaster managed to get over the cage top and Pegasus just missed grabbing him as Dragonmaster dropped to the floor. (Tokens: Dragonmaster: 4 – Pegasus: 3)

Johnny Rocker said Dragonmaster once again survived while taking a beating. Cid didn’t think Dragonmaster’s reign was going to survive his next challenger as he’s going to be facing Soultaker at Wrestling Classic on New Years Day. Rocket talked about the second round of the Lord of the Ring as the tag team matches continued as sixteen teams once more came to the ring. Cid was eager as were the fans

2ND ROUND LOTR TAG TEAM MATCH
Proteus & Deaths Head vs. Battering Ram & Janus the Overman
-Proteus was left alone as Deaths Head walked away after hitting him the FUNERAL MARCH. Battering Ram covered the Greek God for the win. (Tokens: Proteus: 2 – Ram: 1)

Johnny Rocket said Proteus had said something to Deaths Head and went to tag him only for his partner to shatter that skull he carries to the ring over the Greek Gods head and then hit the Funeral March leaving Proteus ripe for the picking and Battering Ram didn’t even hesitate to go for the pin. Cid was happy as Janus made it to the next round and asked if it was too late to call New Vegas and put a bet down. The next match was US Patriot & Vyper against the Savage Barbarians. Rocket said if they made this match they would be in round three where they are split into the two 4-way elimination matches.

2ND ROUND LOTR TAG TEAM MATCH
Savage Barbarians vs. US Patriot & Vyper
-Terak and Cannibal were fluid but Cannibal kept giving orders to Terak who had enough and attacked the Headhunter, they ignored Patriot giving him time to recover and when Terak turned around he walked into ADAM’S ATOMIC BLAST and a three count as Vyper knocked Cannibal off the apron. (Tokens: Patriot: 4 – Terak: 2 – Cannibal: 1 – Vyper: 2)

Cannibal upset went to attack Terak but Patriot clotheslined him out of the ring. Vyper walked away smug he was in the third round.
Profit and Rocket talked about the next pairings as it was Chaos & Mace against the team of Vengeance & Whiplash. Rocket said it was interesting in that Vengeance and Mace had an alliance and on New Years Day they were getting a GWF Tag Team title match and how would it effect them in this match as they were on opposite sides.

2ND ROUND LOTR TAG TEAM MATCH
Vengeance & Whiplash vs. Chaos & Mace
-Chaos was aggravated as Mace refused to tag when Vengeance was in and even hopped off the apron when Chaos was close. Vengeance used the Eye Cleaver and the Alpha Stone went dark. A tag to Whiplash saw the Assassin fail missing a flying backspin. Chaos with the Hyperdrive and the Galaxy Crusher and repeated uses of the BOW OF DEFEAT had Whiplash passing out as Vengeance and Mace walked away. (Tokens: Vengeance: 2 – Whiplash: 6 – Chaos: 1 – Mace: 1)

Profit was nervous as Chaos was on his way to be a 2x Lord of the Ring. Rocket said it was possible as Chaos won it the night he debuted and cashed it in to beat Wolf that very night. They talked about the last match this round as Wolf & Chopper Mattock were set to face the pairing of Dreggs & Pulsar Prime. Profit said Pulsar and Dreggs had the technical skills to win but Wolf is unpredictable and Mattock is a powerhouse.

2ND ROUND LOTR TAG TEAM MATCH
Pulsar Prime & Dreggs vs. Chopper Mattock & Wolf
-Pulsar and Dreggs managed to tag better this match and while Mattock used his power and Wolf was all over the place in and out of the ring, the end came when a huge man in a full body suit attacked Wolf and dragged him away from the ring and Mattock was planted by the Titan Drop by Pulsar who tagged Dreggs who wrapped Mattock up with the fifth TWIST & SHOUT of the match. Profit was surprised as it seemed Wolf was ready to come in when the masked man attacked him. Rocket said security found Wolf stuffed in a hunting net with Guile saying that was for his Bounty Hunter and moments later the bandaged Hunter appeared and just stared at his rival. Profit said the third round was going to be something and Rocket agreed as he just got the line up. In the first match was Mace, Dreggs, US Patriot and Janus the Overman. In the second match of the third round as Battering Ram, Vyper, Pusar Prime and Chaos. As Cid waxed poetically about an Elite Main Event, Rocket said the Dawnstar was up next in a Best two out of three as Carmilla defended the gem championship against former champion Ms. Liberty and the Dawnstar was already above the ring and Carmilla had Zuul in her corner.

-Carmilla punished Liberty who got a near fall off the ropes with a sunset flip then a perfect cross body block off the top ropes. Carmilla rolled out of the ring after a Patriot Missile but Liberty with a suicide dive thru the ropes then back into the ring and hit THE LIBERATOR to get the first fall.
The Secon fall was Carmilla sending Liberty into the turnbuckles after a back and forth and Liberty with a springboard cross body block got the three count. (Tokens: Liberty: 2 – Carmilla: 3)
Winner: New Champion: Ms. Liberty (3x) via pin fall/pin fall

Liberty was waiting for the Dawnstar to be lowered when Zuul jumped her from behind and put boots to her. Sam pulled Liberty from the ring as the officials grabbed the Dawnstar. Fans cheered at Liberty was presented the Dawnstar.
Johnny Rocket said Carmilla wasted time taunting Liberty picking her up after the Nail in the Coffin. Profit said with losing two falls Carmilla is out of the running for now unless some other chance opens up. They switched to talking about the third round of the Lord of the Ring as they were getting ready for the first of two 4-way elimination matches. Profit was saying Janus was going to the next round and Chaos was going to win the second one making it an Elite finale.

-the match started with Mace and Dreggs attacking each other and they fought back and forth in and out of the ring. Dreggs tagged Patriot who went after Mace but a blind tag to Janus who hit Patriot with a savatte kick then locked on the GORDIAN KNOT. Patriot tapped out and was the first eliminated. Dreggs worked on Janus who escaped out of the ring then tagged Mace. Mace tried but Dreggs off the ropes with a surprise sunset flip got a three count and Mace was eliminated. Janus struck Dreggs and tried to finish him but Dreggs countered and with the TWIST & SHOUT forced the Overnan to tap out unable to reach the ropes. (Tokens: Patriot: 2 – Mace: 5 – Janus: 5 – Dreggs: 7)

Rocket said Dreggs is in the finals and he took a pounding but dug deep to preserver. Cid was stunned that Janus was eliminated. As the next match was ready.

-Vyper just couldn’t get around Ram’s power and after a series of Ram head butts and AniMen Ax Handles Ram with the BATTERING RAM got a three count and Vyper was the first elimination. Chaos attacked Ram and after Ram escaped out of the ring he tagged Pulsar who hit the Star Smasher on Chaos and the Alpha Stone flashed and fell to the floor. Pulsar with control finally went with the WHIRLWIND and got a three count and Chaos to the shock of many was eliminated. Ram used his power to work over Pulsar who came back and after a flying elbow locked on the SOLAR STRAIN forcing Ram to tap out. (Tokens: Chaos: 1 – Ram: 2 – Pulsar: 2)

Rocket said the finals were set and it is Pulsar Prime and Dreggs who had teamed up in the first two rounds are facing each other in the finals. Profit was shocked that both Chaos and Janus were eliminated. Rocket told him to suck it up as they were about to enter the 4-way elimination tag team match for the GWF Tag Team titles as the Gamesmasters defended against Superiority Complex, the Gladiators and the surprise team of Asylum.

-The match started off in bedlam as the Gladiators hit the ring and attacked all three teams. Massacre was caught by Prodigy and with Skinhead hit the PERFECT TAG FINISHER getting a three count surprising everyone as the Gladiatos were the first team eliminated. Skinhead and Prodigy had trouble with Psycho as the big man used his weight. After a pancake masher Psycho tagged Thantos who wasted no time and a powerbomb set up for the MASTERLOCK and Warrior and Asylum cut off Prodigy forcing Skinhead to tap out and Superiority Complex was eliminated. Psycho went after Thantos but the Gamesmaster was quick and a Satanic Skull Smasher and the MASTERLOCK had the fat man tapping out. (Tokens: Skinhead: 2 – Prodigy: 1 – Psycho: 1 – Frenzy: 3 – Thantos: 3 – Warrior: 1)

Johnny Profit said the Gamesmasters continue to dominate the tag ranks and go onto Wrestling Classic to face Vengeance and Mace. Cid said the Gladiators were pissed at being the first team out. Rocket said the night continues as the IP championship was up next as Raven was set to face Matador of M83 who is the last member of the Elite to compete tonight. Profit said there had to be a conspiracy.

-This was a war going back and forth with Raven getting two near falls off the ropes and a deathjump. Matador’s speed compensated and Raven was caught on the top rope and a falcon arrow then the BULLWHIP seconds later got the three count. (Tokens: Raven: 2 – Matador: 3)
Winner: New Champion: Matador of M83 (5x) via pin fall

Matador stood on the announce table with the belt raised yelling he said he was going to do it and he did. Rocket said it was the fifth time Matador was the IP champion. Profit said Morpheus looks happier that something went to plan. They talked about Spike the who won Reach for the Stars at War of the Worlds in October and was the current No Limits Champion. they talked about Alpha Force who won the Galactic title at Galacticon cashing in the Golden Ticket. Tonight was going to be interesting

GWF GALACTIC HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Alpha Force* w/Omega vs. Spike
-Spike hammered Alpha right at the bell. Between shoulder tackles, knees to the head and Deadly Decapitators Alpha nearly was pinned under a minute and was wide open when Spike hit the MEGADESTROYER getting the three count and never once letting Alpha have offense. (Tokens: Alpha: 1)
Winner: New Champion: Spike via pin fall

Spike roared holding up the Galactic title he’s been chasing for years and finally holds it. Spike spotted Chaos who was set to challenge for the belt at Wrestling Classic. The two men had a stare down as officials worked to keep them apart
Rocket and Profit spoke about the Lord of the Ring Gauntlet between two men who were usually tag team specialists. The finals were a two out of three falls match and it was about to start as Commissioner Carter joined them with the LOTR Gauntlet to present to the winner.

Pulsar Prime vs. Dreggs
-After a handshake the match was fast and fans were on their feet. Pulsar was nearly put away with a backbreaker but he fought back and while Dreggs had him in the TWIST & SHOUT Pulsar escaped and Dreggs went for a deathjump but Pulsar shoved him off and locked on the SOLAR STRAIN and Dreggs tapped out.
The second fall was reversals that had the referee dizzy and Pulsar escaped the TWIST & SHOUT getting to the ropes but Dreggs pulled him into the middle of the ring and locked on the TWIST & SHOUT again and Pulsar with no leverage tapped out and evening it up at one win each.
The third round was back and forth with collisions that had both men battling from their backs. Both men put the other thru the ringside barricade and Dreggs put Pulsar thru the announce table with the Dreggs Killer Drop. Finally after repeated uses of the SOLAR STRAIN an exhausted Dreggs tapped out. (Tokens: Dreggs: 7 – Pulsar: 9)
Winner: LOTR: Pulsar Prime via submission/submission

Commissioner Carter entered the ring and presented Pulsar with the gold and jewel gantlet that resized to hit his hand. Dreggs raised Pulsar’s arm as fans cheered as the Hart Attack ripped over the sound system and the rest of the Fighting Titans came to the ring with Ursa Major and PN News. Fans were still cheering about the match they just saw as it was a technical fight with some brawling and striking in the mix.
Johnny Rocket thanked fans and reminded them to tune into GWFN for the end of the year Rocket Report and then New Years Day for Wrestling Classic. The PPV ends with Pulsar on the shoulders of Lord Nexus and Dragonmaster holding up the LOTR Gauntlet.

ROCKET REPORT (GWFN)


Johnny Rocket here with the end of the year Rocket Report as I type up this report 2097 was something with so much going on.

The Real Wild Things surprised many throughout the years as Red Talon led Tendron the Destroyer to several singles titles. Doomsday…no, Reptillo has been under the care of doctors who are able to revert him from his Transevolved for of the Doomsday Creature.

Asylum has been surprising fans with some serious wins for the duo and managed to get entered in the tag team title match at LOTR being one of the last teams in the ring to challenge the Gamesmasters. Wonder what 2098 will hold for this strange duo.

Black Hole Bart vanished mid 2097 and its rumored he will return in 2098…rumors are Astro Turk will come with him.

Ursa Major after losing his mentor Black Hole Bart was seen on Titan, Lord Nexus has been mentoring him and its rumored that Ursa will join the Titans in 2098 or 2099. I do know PN News has agreed to join the Titans for one year to fill in for Ursa.

Speaking of the Fighting Titans, 2097 has been a year of success in the title picture as Air Titan held Tag team gold and Dragonmaster has been solid in singles in the UCSP and Holovision titles holding both at points throughout the year. Lord Nexus has spent time on Titan and Billy Jo Boxer has been spotted at several boxing events.

The Masked Assassins are a mess. The Demons of Hydra since their revelation have fallen in the ranks drastically. Darkos and Whiplash have had problems, Darkos blaming the aging Whiplash. Vyper after his shock and awe has been low card with a few solid fights. Enigma’s effectiveness as bodyguard have many wondering when he’s going to get replaced.

The Savage Kingdom has had its ups and downs, rumors are Terak is planning of stepping back from in ring wrestling but we shall see.

The Renegades continue to be random. Cannibal seems to want to recruit Terak, especially after their teaming once again at LOTR. Death’s Head and Mutant are holding the low card sometimes gaining wins. Cannibal seems to long for familiarity with a tag team partner.

AniMen of Andromeda a bag of cats fits this description. Amazonia has been focusing on her own career mostly leaving the team rudderless. Animal Pack has been arguing a lot backstage more and more as Battering Ram is wanting the spotlight. Iron Mane has been seeing a councilor as I recently learned and Red Talon revealed it was Incredible Badger and Amazonia who helped him get Reptillo the medical held he badly needed. Wolf as usual is all over the place, his recent feud ending Best of Seven against Bounty Hunter and his stalking of Pegasus not withstanding.

Department of Power: Reynard B. Guile is proving to be one of the worst managers in the GWF as he’s either ignoring his team or costing them matches with the only wrestler he focuses on is Bounty Hunter. Guile costing Pegasus a recent Holovision title shot and ignoring Cassandra has the manager on very shaky ground.

King’s Court: King Lear has had trouble balancing manager and wrestler duties. Killer Queen and Jack of Diamonds have been seen doing a lot of charity work and while they wrestle at times they seem to be in a holding pattern. Defender of the Realm has held gold for a bit but has had no real direction and Lear seems unwilling to push.

Dreadnaught after chasing Matter away Dreadnaught has proven that he is not leader material and has bounced around not really living up to his potential showing he needs a manager. Matter was seen backstage at LOTR coming out of the Commissioner’s Office. 2098 promises to herald the return of the Cosmic Forces with the banishment of Antimatter ending on the 1st of January. Will we see a Reign of Terror reunion?

The Collector’s Workshop has been filled with ups and downs. Mesmer and Gemini despite early success seem to flounder in the 3rd and 4th quarters as a team and Collector seems to be focused elsewhere. Bishop Hell continues to be a source of controversy holding the Holovision title again but like his teammates seems to be distracted.

FDF: Commander Sam has tried to do right with his team as he tried to give them each attention. Ms. Liberty has held the Dawnstar several times and US Patriot has shown an increase of skill throughout 2097. Code of Honor has had some success as a team surprising many as At-Las and Justice won a chance for the tag belts. Will 2098 see the FDF claim the gold they are all destined for? Sam has been seen watching Dreadnaught’s matches but says nothing about it when asked.

W.A.R. & Gladiators of Aethra: The headbanging team has had some rough patches and it doesn’t help that Vengeance is teaming with their sworn enemy…Mace who turned on his team due to his ego. Spike a 12x IP champion captured the NLW title and ends the year with the Galactic title. Brute & Massacre seem to be having trouble losing matches they should have won. Add that Vengeance is verbally taunting his own team isn’t helping matters. Meanwhile WAR or the remains of it have had an outstanding 2097. Raven has held either the IP title or the Galactic title most of the year. Holocaust was doing well as Holovision champion until Mace turned on his team and injured Holocaust. Dreggs seemed to have been forgotten but he ends the year making it to the finals of the LOTR so I suggest bookers take notes of this untapped goldmine. Still no word on the status of Destruction 3000 who was put offline after a dark match parking lot brawl against Antimatter outside a GWF arena.

The Elite: Morpheus team has been all ego. Superiority Complex has not lived up to their hype and seem to get title matches due to controversy. Chaos has been top contender for the Galactic title off and on and held the belt a few times but his reigns have been short. Matador of M83 has been chasing gold and ends the year as the IP champion while Janus has capture the USCP title and is rather arrogant about it. So far in 2097 the Elite haven’t been.

COTG: Omega has to be a proud man. 2097 saw the return of the Greek Gods, Star Warrior and Thantos took the name Gamesmasters once more and have dominated the tag team ranks holding both the IP Tag and GWF Tag titles. Alpha Force won the Rumbe claiming the Golden Ticket and then the Galactic title. After LOTR Omega was concerned as Alpha seemed lethargic and the living legend took his son to the medical center. 2098 approaches and the COTG continue to be the head team. The Greek Gods are having a final match at Wrestling Classic and then leaving back to Ancient Greece. Omega says they have brought a friend to replace them and Omega says he’s been getting used to our time working with another man who Omega claims will be the Man of Tomorrow. The Champions are not sitting idle despite their success.

Most of the part time wrestlers were cleared out due to Morpheus during his time as Co-General Manager. Still on the books are Soul Edge (Soultaker & Zakata) and Jakata, Shatterstar who was forced into the women’s division and is floundering, then there is Carmilla and her coven of Zuul, Black Mamba and the monster that is the Reborn. Gabriel and Solar Hawk left without warning and Poison Dragon has been seen doing commercials but is still under GWF contract.
